"Hah, even my dreams are getting wilder." Timmy rubbed his forehead while sitting up. It took him a while to notice that something was wrong.
Wasn't he escorting Leo to Glitzy's Headquarters? How could he fall asleep while piloting the ship? He immediately reacted, and subconsciously looked around to find the control panels.
His gaze soon fell on a giant skeleton, which was looking straight at him.
"He... Heheh, I'm still dreaming, aren't I?" He clenched his fist tightly, and punched himself as hard as he could. The punch was strong enough to knock him out, and he returned to sleep.
"Are all humans, excluding you, just as weird?" Necropolis Lord Voldred asked, weirdly looking at Timmy who had just passed out.
It wasn't wrong to say that Timmy had slept more than he had been awake ever since he was kidnapped.
Leo wanted to answer, but he stopped short of explaining. His mind was already in a mess since Voldred was sending him somewhere.
Leo still wasn't sure about the destination, since the Undead didn't even remember the name accurately. He had even tried searching the vague name of Galacda Uniso in the Galactic Net but no matching location turned up.
He had already tried using all justified excuses to leave with Timmy, but it only made him realize that he had gone a little too far in his drama.
Voldred had really started looking at him favorably. Since he called the process of searching alone as difficult as walking through fire and ice, Voldred didn't let him leave.
Voldred was stubborn about his own idea, and Leo couldn't convince him otherwise.
'At least my life isn't in danger. Since he looks at me favorably, it shouldn't be a dangerous place, right?"
Leo sighed heavily, worried about his future. The more he thought about it, the more it was spiraling out of his control.
Voldred saw Leo's sigh, and misunderstood it again. "What a good child. He is still worrying about my son..."
Voldred raised his hand, causing a rift in the blood red sky.
From the split sky that had been split apart, a sword came flying down. Even the thousand floor tall Hero Tower's Height paled in comparison to this sword's length which was made from an unknown creature's bones.
The sword was even larger than the Skeleton Swordsman's Sword.
The flying sword fell in the Lich Lord's hand, making his figure appear even more world defying.
"How have you been, old friend." Voldred's boney fingers brushed against the sword.
Skeleton Swordsman Malakor felt his sword tremble in this mighty sword's presence which was like the king of all swords in Necropolis.
"The Sword that Your Majesty used during the thousand year war? It's been so long since I last saw it..." Even Ossius looked at the sword with a worshipping gaze.
During the thousand year war, this sword was drenched in so much of the enemy's blood that he couldn't even measure.
In the war, thousands of advanced civilizations had been destroyed. Even two of the five ancient worlds had completely disappeared, leaving only three of them still in existence.
"Child, you are willing to sacrifice your life and your youth to find my son. For a stranger, you are willing to go so far. Even though we are not related, I am touched by your selflessness."
The giant sword in his hand started shrinking, and becoming lighter. However, the aura of blood didn't weaken. If anything, it became even stronger as the sword became smaller.
If Leo was being honest, he would've said that he was just trying to get out of here. Why would he try to sacrifice his life for strangers? But he was a little wiser than that.
"Your father must be really proud of you," Voldred said, going down on a knee before Leo.
His gesture even surprised Ossius and Malakor. After all, Voldred was someone that even the strongest of enemies couldn't bring down to his knees.
That's why Voldred was even given a nickname, Death Reincarnate. And now, this man was on a knee before a human?
"Here, use this for your protection. Just remember, you are one of us now. I, Voldred, will never take your kindness for granted." He reached out his giant hand, resting the sword on the tip of his finger.
The sword was now the size of a normal sword. Leo blankly reached out his hand, not really knowing the history and significance of this sword.
Leo was starting to feel extremely guilty. Even though he had acted to save his life, it didn't change the fact that he had lied to Voldred. He had lied to a father who was just worried about his child.
"I've never seen my father. I don't know what kind of person he was. I don't know if he would have been proud of me. But I know that if my father was even a tiny bit like you, I would have been really proud of him."
Leo mumbled subconsciously, as he grabbed the hilt of the sword which had bathed in the blood of various Ancient Civilizations.
The sword, which was heavier than a giant planet in its normal state, felt extremely light in Leo's hand. Not only was it light, but it even felt extremely comfortable.
The moment Leo held the sword, he felt like all his exhaustion was gone instantly.
Leo had only talked about his father subconsciously. There was no intention to manipulate anyone, thus it was spoken in a low voice. Still, Voldred heard every single word clearly.
He didn't know if he was a good father or not. His son was very stubborn, and often ran away from home. He even scolded his son multiple times, but he had never heard his son compliment him even once.
To hear someone compliment him as a father, he felt an unfamiliar sensation deep down. It felt... good?
Voldred raised his hand, and reached out his finger. He was extremely careful to not crush Leo under its weight as he lightly patted the young man.
"Thank you, child."
He waved his hand lightly, and certain clothes materialized in his hands, once again shrunk to the size of Leo.
They weren't ordinary clothes either. They were clothes that were worn by Necropolis Royalty. It even had the symbol of Necropolis, and top tier protection spells.
"You must always wear this. It will also keep you safe. And if there is something you can't handle, then just send a message, and the whole universe shall know what it means to mess with you...'
Leo nodded, and wore the clothes that were black, yet strangely felt stylish. Atop the clothes, there was a Necropolis Robe that wrapped his entire body.
There were also gauntlets that fit his hands perfectly, and even came with certain passive spells that Voldred didn't tell Leo about.
The robe also had a cloak stop that covered Leo's head, revealing only his face.
"I promise that I will find the Prince." Leo lowered his head to Voldred before picking up Timmy.
He turned around, and started walking after, leaving the Necropolis Emperor and the others behind.
He didn't know where he was going, but he knew what he had to do. He only had one goal in the past, that was to lose money. Now he had two goals, lose money and try to find that scumbag prince for Voldred.
Behind Leo was Necropolis, and before him was a future that he still hasn't realized. He didn't know what kind of commotion his current adventure was going to cause, and not just for earth.
