The newly arrived guests from both civilizations stood before Leo. They observed him closely, as if waiting to see which of them he would acknowledge first.
Leo stepped forward, maintaining a calm heart rate.
The two ancient guests watched his every move.
"I have heard so much about the Great War. Unfortunately, I was too young to take part in it." The silver haired man cracked his knuckles. "I thought I would never get an opportunity to face someone from Necropolis. Who knew the opportunity would come so soon?"
His gem-studded gauntlet began to shine as Leo got closer.
"The stench of the undead is still as disgusting as ever. Why has an envoy of the dead stepped into the land of the living again?" The Seraph asked, her eyes trying to see through Leo's robes, only to fail.
"Kids these days..." Leo mumbled, not paying attention to either of them. He stopped between the two guests but didn't look at them.
"You're lucky that this measly union begged me not to spill blood today and I agreed," After a brief pause, he continued walking past them, leaving the pair stunned.
Why did they feel like they were being underestimated? The man was especially taken aback. He had been planning to challenge Leo to a battle to restart the ancient rivalry.
"Stop right there!" he commanded coldly, turning back.
"You're a thousand years too young to challenge me, kid. Send your elders to face me next time, and then I might consider it."
"What?" The man was at a loss for words. Send an elder to face him? Just who is this person to have such courage? Wasn't he a mere envoy, the lowest of the low in Necropolis?
As he came to his senses, he realized that Leo had already disappeared. His body had been teleported back to the Necropolis ship following his command.
"Wait!" The man reached out his hand, but it was too late. The Necropolis ship departed, entering a wormhole.
Under normal circumstances, it would have looked like Leo had simply run away. But with the kind of contempt Leo revealed before leaving, no one could bring themselves to that conclusion.
In everyone's eyes, the one from Necropolis was truly the strongest among them. In his eyes, even the Envoys of the other two civilizations were like ants, unworthy of challenging him.
If an ant challenged a human to a fight to the death, would the human take it seriously? No, it would be beneath them. It was the same with Leo, the one who carried the Sword of Voldred.
At least, that was how it appeared to the onlookers. Even the newly arrived guests couldn't find a flaw in that logic. They felt like something was wrong, but they just couldn't put a finger on it.
They thought about chasing after Leo's ship. But if he was truly an Elder of Necropolis, wouldn't that be a mistake? If he was strong enough to back up that confidence, it would be problematic for them, especially since they had come alone and in a hurry after hearing the news.
Their initial goal was only to find an opportunity to fight the Envoy and then discover the reason for Necropolis' appearance to the world. But things hadn't gone as planned.
"Your Highness, your father is furious! How can you take the battleship and leave alone? Please come back and don't do anything stupid!"
The silver haired man from the Ancient Species was staring into distant space when the voice fell upon his ears, coming through a magical mark engraved on the back of his hand.
The young man simply ignored the voice in his head and turned to the Galactic Union Leader, who had followed Leo inside.
"What did the two of you talk about? If you don't answer honestly..."
Viserl felt an even stronger urge to cry, but he controlled his emotions. Now that Leo had left, if he let the other two leave, all his problems would be solved.
Unfortunately, he couldn't tell them the truth. What if they decided to stay behind after finding out?
The Seraph also perked up her ears to listen.
"He said that he wanted to buy a Celestial Lotus. I told him that the lotus had already gone extinct, so we couldn't help him. That's why he left as fast as he came. It was because he couldn't get what he wanted."
Viserl made up a story that mixed truth with lies. It was true that the Celestial Lotus had gone extinct and even the Galactic Union didn't have one. No one could disprove such lies.
It would also explain why Leo left so quickly. After all, he was disappointed with the failure. It wasn't as if anyone could go to Necropolis to ask them the reason personally.
"Just that?" The man frowned. "Why would an Elder Level Figure come personally for a Celestial Lotus? Why would Necropolis want a Celestial Lotus so urgently?"
The silver-haired man frowned, lost in thought, while the Seraph had a more drastic reaction. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she heard that Necropolis was looking for a Celestial Lotus.
"I will be returning." She turned around and disappeared as well. Her ship turned and entered the spatial crack to return to her home planet. This was world defying information that needed to be conveyed.
Viserl didn't know that his simple lie had a history that even he wasn't aware of. His lie had created the foundation for another misunderstanding between the three Ancient Seats.
"For her to leave in such a hurry? Just what is the significance of this? I need to inform my father as well! He must know the answer!"
The young man also turned around. He didn't disappear like everyone else. Instead, he tapped his left foot on the ground, and his figure shot straight into the sky.
The third uninvited guest also left with the ancient battleship. The Galactic Union had avoided the greatest trouble of its existence without losing a single life.
This was no different than an achievement worth celebrating. The only one who looked disappointed was the Elven Emperor as he turned around and left amidst the cheers for Viserl.
Viserl was slightly confused as to why everyone had left in such a hurry. However, he didn't think much about it and started enjoying the cheers.
With this, he had crafted a feather of achievement for himself that others could only dream of.
....
Meanwhile, the real prince of Necropolis was still stuck inside the ordinary-looking ship traversing through space.
"How long until we reach a planet where I can have fun?" he asked.
"Not long, Your Majesty. Just a few more hours and we will reach Planet Earth. It is said to be an advanced, yet slightly insignificant planet. Your father could never find you there."
"Good." The Prince nodded. "I never want to return to that boring old man who only makes me train destruction-level spells day and night."
In another ship, Leo had also set his new destination. Planet Earth... He could finally return to his business empire and bring it to ruin.
....
Meanwhile, another interesting change had taken place on Earth in Leo's absence.
At this moment, Leo's face was being flashed across all news channels on Earth.
