Confusion covered Rion's face, and he asked, "It is not complete...? What do you mean?"
"Your ability lets you do whatever you believe in, and the reason it doesn't work always is that it's not yet complete, what you wish to do is currently beyond it," Haden explained slowly and steadily, making sure that Rion understood everything.
Rion frowned, a question appearing in the wide pond of his mind, 'Then why did I feel like everything was possible for me when I used it for the first time?'
A conclusion came right after.
'It must have shown me how it should have been and how it is right now instead of showing my limits to me...'
He believed it to be just because it made the most sense at the moment.
'Then how am I supposed to complete it?' He sighed inwardly as another unanswered question joined his already vast coffer of them.
Haden smiled faintly and said, "It seems you have realised something."
Rion looked at him, nodded and said evenly, "I have."
Haden stared into his eyes for a few moments, then he stepped back, raised his arm, and his spear came flying into his open hand.
Rion also unstrapped his spear from his back and watched Haden.
"Azure Ascending spear has three layers, and each layer has three aura techniques."
"The first layer is of the Serpent, and it has its Slither, Coil and Bite."
"The second layer is of the Imoogi, and it has its Lunge, Tail Whip and Rise."
"The third and final layer is of the dragon, and it has its Ascent, Roar and Summit's Meet," he explained."
Rion carved Haden's words in his mind and mumbled, "How do I learn it?"
Azure Ascending spear was a set of nine aura techniques, each holding a unique intent, and no one could replicate them unless they had an understanding of the techniques.
Even Rion couldn't replicate it, though his reason was a bit different; he had never seen Haden perform them, so he didn't even know what he had to imitate.
'I was able to copy Grathar's aura technique, so maybe I can copy this as well,' he thought, excitement already bubbling in his heart.
"You will first listen to the play and gain your own understanding of it," Haden muttered, lifted his spear and said, "Get ready."
Rion quickly raised his spear, and Haden commented, "Show me what you have learned in the past month."
Rion's lip lifted into a smirk. He jumped back and whispered, "As you wish, Father."
His aura and will surged outwards. The aura wrapped around the spear, making it even deadlier, while his will flowed into it.
The Weapon Sense unfolded differently than before; instead of turning into a black and white sketch, the world in his vision retained its colours, the only thing that changed was Haden, who had an enormous red flame at his heart.
The flame was simply impossible to ignore because of its sheer vastness and how it bent the world around itself; to him, it appeared no different than a fissure in what everyone called reality.
'Blasted hell!!' Rion cursed inwardly, his eyes flaring in both awe and excitement. He threw his arm back and hurled the spear at Haden with all of his strength.
Just as the spear left his hand, it seemed to vanish.
A powerful gust left as it zipped forward.
Not even a moment had passed, and it had already reached Haden.
Haden stared at Rion with a silent gaze and struck the spear to the side.
A loud clang rang throughout the area as Rion's spear flew away from him.
The spear flew for some time, and all of a sudden, it twisted in the air and turned back towards Rion.
Rion grinned widely as the spear appeared in his hand. He positioned himself and threw it once again.
Just like before, Haden parried it without any difficulty. It then went back to Rion, and he threw it back at him repeatedly.
Sounds of their clashes echoed throughout the forest, and sparks flew away with each collision.
Haden sometimes tried to trap Rion's spear using his aura, but Rion sensed it with his Zone and threw the spear at a different spot.
As they continued, Haden spoke, "Unlike us, serpents don't take birth in the cradle of their parent, they learn of hunting and survival not from care but from the cruelty of this world."
Rion stopped throwing the spear and moved by himself.
"Their endless resolve is what transforms them into an imoogi."
Rion thrusted the spear at him. Haden blocked and threw a kick to his side.
Jumping to the side, Rion dodged the kick. He twisted his body and swung the spear's shaft at his chest in a wide arc.
The spear struck him. Cracks appeared on the thin layer of aura around him, and he swung his spear down at him.
Rion tried to jump back, but Haden planted his feet on his.
"However, a few of them give in to the temptation of power and begin to seize more than what they need; their greed becomes their end."
The spear descended at him, and Rion blocked it with his own.
A groan escaped his lips as he pushed the spear away and thrust at him.
The spear slid across the aura skin covering Haden's body.
Rion crossed the distance between them and, unexpectedly, bit down on Haden's shoulder.
Serpent-like cracks ran outwards, and Haden threw a punch at him.
Just as the punch was about to land, he placed his spear between the two, and the punch that should have sent him flying only made him slide a few steps back.
"While those who stay firm, grab the luminous pearl and ascend as a dragon," Haden finished.
The world suddenly fell silent as Rion took a deep breath and began to strike at Haden without stopping.
Haden blocked and parried his attacks while throwing a few kicks, punches and attacks.
As the spar continued, Rion added in an unusually sharp tone, "They don't fall because of their greed but because they become the centre of others' greed."
