Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!

Chapter 101: Killing the Infernal Lord Giant Scaring the Students

Soon, George and his group arrived at the massive and grand city gate.

A continuous roaring sound filled the air, along with the furious screams of monsters.

There were thousands of students gathered here, fighting a giant monster covered in red flames.

That was the boss guarding the city gate-Infernal Lord Giant.

The ground around them was black and burnt. A dozen students had already died.

Students with the Realm Pass could leave the realm anytime, but it wasn't 100% safe. If they faced a killing blow, they wouldn't have time to use the pass.

"Looks like we can't underestimate these students," George said, watching the group of students.

These students were organized, with many mages and archers working together. Their long-range attacks were coordinated, and waves of attacks kept coming. For a moment, the Infernal Lord Giant was in trouble.

But killing this big guy wasn't easy at all.

George checked the stats of the Infernal Lord Giant-Infernal Lord Giant Vaelen, a 40-level boss, with a stage of SS tier. Even with numbers, it was hard to kill a boss that was way above their level.

In the group, flashes of white light kept appearing-students who couldn't take the damage and were running away using their Realm Pass.

Around the forest, more students kept coming. They all had hope. If they got the final hit on the monster, they could get a lot of points. Even if their class stage wasn't high, they might still get into a top school.

"Front-line students, hold the line. If you get in danger, use your Realm Pass to escape right away. The second and third lines, mages and archers, take turns attacking. Don't give this thing a chance to fight back," a young man in the group said, staying calm.

The students actually organized themselves. Their attack had a rhythm now.

"Leader, it's no good. The archers can't break through this thing's defense. Killing it is impossible," an archer said, frustrated.

"Never mind. We just need to keep it under control. We have so many people. Even if we wear it down, we can kill it," the young man said confidently. He was watching the Infernal Lord Giant's HP closely. He had a scroll in his hand, one he paid a high price for.

As soon as the Infernal Lord Giant's HP dropped below 10,000, he would be sure to kill it. These stupid students were just working for him for free.

"Lord, let me take it on. I can tear this fire monster apart easily," Constantine looked at the Infernal Lord Giant and rubbed his hands together, ready to fight.

He had the legendary gear Sacred Dragon Gauntlet and was desperate to test its power.

"No rush. Let me show off first," George said with a smile. His wings spread behind him, and he flew straight toward the group.

Constantine and the others were shocked and quickly followed. Elise also took Lily with her.

A huge shadow covered the sky, and a strong pressure filled the air. The students noticed the change in the sky and looked scared immediately.

"No good, another boss is here!"

"Wow, what are these monsters? I feel like they're even stronger than the Infernal Lord Giant."

"Demon, ghost, and those two girls... they're so beautiful..."

The students started talking loudly, and their attack rhythm was completely broken. White lights flashed everywhere as more students ran away in fear.

They could feel that Constantine and the others were way too strong for them.

The Infernal Lord Giant took the chance to fight back in anger. In a flash, another dozen students were killed.

"Stay calm, keep the attack rhythm," the leader shouted, and he also pulled out his Realm Pass, ready to run at any moment.

Compared to life, passing the test or getting high points didn't matter at all.

"Hey," a calm voice said from the sky. The students finally noticed that in the middle of the terrifying monsters, there were two students-a boy and a girl.

And these monsters were protecting them.

Summoner!

The students guessed George's class. Summoners were powerful and rare.

George saw all the students were distracted and was happy. He continued, "So, can I take this boss?"

"Take it? Why? We've been fighting for a while. You just say that and take it?" The crowd was angry and shouted back.

"Killing a boss is about your own skills. If you can take it, go ahead and fight," the leader said, not caring.

In his opinion, George's monsters looked scary, but they were probably not that strong.

After all, the best students were only around 30 levels. They couldn't beat the Infernal Lord Giant.

"Good," George nodded with a smile. He waved his hand and said coldly, "Go, finish it fast."

As soon as he finished speaking, a huge figure rushed out.

It was Constantine. He didn't use his War Hammer or the black bone. His fists glowed with golden light, and he slammed them down hard.

"A powerful demon race joining humans? That's a disgrace! Get out of the way!"

The Infernal Lord Giant roared and swung its fists at Constantine.

Crack!

A loud sound of bones breaking echoed. Then the giant let out a painful scream. The ground shook, and its huge body fell to the ground, kicking up dust and fire.

Just one punch had broken its arm.

"Wow, how is that possible? One punch took off tens of thousands of HP from the Infernal Lord Giant?"

The crowd gasped. Now they realized how strong Constantine was.

Especially the leader, his eyes turned dark. He tightly gripped his scroll, and swallowed hard.

His secret card, this powerful attack scroll, could only do a little over 10,000 damage. Taking the boss from Constantine was impossible.

"You're too weak," Constantine said, rubbing his numb fists. His massive body flashed, and he moved like lightning, reaching the Infernal Lord Giant in an instant.

Golden fists flashed, and heavy sounds echoed.

The arrogant Infernal Lord Giant was now just a bag, flying around in Constantine's hands, with no chance to fight back.

The students were all shocked and couldn't say a word.

Eliex watched Constantine show off his power, and for once, he didn't interfere.

"Pathetic, just die already."

Constantine's cold voice echoed, and he already had the Infernal Lord Giant under his feet. He grabbed its head with both hands and twisted it hard.

Crack!

A terrible sound of bones breaking filled the air. The giant's head was twisted off with a loud snap.

The fire on the Infernal Lord Giant instantly went out.

[Killed Infernal Lord Giant Vaelen (Boss), Experience +120,000, Points +2100]

[Dropped: Infernal Lord Core1, Infernal Lord Scale10, Infernal Lord Hemostatic1]

[Dropped: Infernal Lord Blade (Diamond Rank)]

A message appeared. Constantine had killed the Infernal Lord Giant with absolute ease.

"What lousy gear?" Constantine picked up the long sword that dropped from the Infernal Lord Giant, sneered, and put it in his pocket.

"Diamond-ranked gear!"

A student near the front saw the sword's stats and immediately had shining eyes. They were all close-range classes. If they could get a diamond-ranked weapon, their power would jump a lot.

"Let's go to the next gate," George said calmly, ready to leave.

"Stop!" At that moment, the leader of the students suddenly blocked his way. He said coldly, "Bro, we've been fighting this Infernal Lord Giant for a long time. We were almost killing it. You stole our boss. Shouldn't you give us some compensation?"

"Compensation?"

George was stunned. He had never met someone so shameless before.

This Infernal Lord Giant was impossible for these students to beat, even if they brought more people. Yet they claimed they were almost done.

He looked at the young man and smiled slightly, saying, "What kind of compensation do you want?"

"Give you the points, but the gear, materials, and corpse from the Infernal Lord Giant belong to us," the young man said, lifting his head and looking directly at George, not afraid at all.

Constantine was strong, but there were thousands of students here. He believed this guy wouldn't dare to make a scene.

"Tyrus is right. Hand over what dropped from the Infernal Lord Giant."

"Not only that. You stole our boss, so you should give us compensation. We don't ask for much. Just 10,000 points each."

"Exactly."

Everyone started talking, surrounding George and his group.

"Bringing shame to the master, you die!" Elise's eyes flashed cold, and she swung her staff. A fireball flew out and hit the ground in front of them.

The fireball exploded, creating a strong heat wave. Students nearby were thrown back, almost dying. Others were shocked, and for a moment, no one spoke.

They knew George's group was strong, but they didn't expect a soft-looking elf girl to have such power.

If that fireball had been aimed at them, they wouldn't have time to use the Realm Pass before being killed.

"Who do you think you are? You dare to take my stuff?" George said, not even looking at Tyrus, who had fallen to the ground in fear. He waved his hand and left with his group.

When they were gone, the students finally reacted. Cold sweat covered their foreheads.

"Who is this guy? His power is so scary!"

"Thank goodness they didn't kill us. Otherwise, things would have been bad."

"Maybe this is a good thing. With his power, he can open the Underworld. There must be something good in there..."
