George stayed here and continued hunting the Twin-Tailed Shardback Scorpions.
"Lord, should we move to another place? These guys are too hard to kill," Eliex said, looking tired, floating over to George and speaking reluctantly.
The Shardback Scorpions had such high magic defense that Eliex's skill damage was cut in half. Killing one was enough for him to kill two other monsters.
"It's fine. Take a break, these materials from the Shardback Scorpions are pretty valuable. Let's kill a bit more," George comforted him.
Eliex sighed helplessly and sat cross-legged, restoring his mana.
"Haha, old man, are you getting too tired? Now you know who the real boss is, right?" Constantine laughed loudly, proudly rushing into the group of Shardback Scorpions, crashing through them and killing left and right.
"Idiot, next time we fight another monster," Eliex muttered coldly, clearly not happy.
He decided to find a monster with high physical defense next time to challenge Constantine.
Not long ago, the two had fought, and their strength was about even. Without a life-or-death battle, it was hard to decide the winner.
So they came up with this idea: whoever killed more monsters was stronger.
But Constantine was smart, and he chose the Twin-Tailed Shardback Scorpions with extremely high magic defense.
"Even if we change monsters, you still can't beat me."
Constantine said arrogantly.
George didn't pay attention to their argument, just collecting the items dropped by the Shardback Scorpions.
Without realizing it, a whole night passed. Constantine and the others killed a lot of Twin-Tailed Shardback Scorpions, and George's Frost Mage class had reached level 46.
"It looks like reaching level 50 is impossible. Let's go back and rest. Tomorrow is the College Entrance Exam," George muttered, stretching his body, tired.
He hadn't fought, but he had been watching the battlefield the whole time, which still took a lot of mental energy.
Also, the other night, he had disturbed the Triple-Tailed Shardback Scorpion boss. George didn't let Constantine kill it but chose to run away instead.
If he couldn't tame the god locked up in the Underworld, this Triple-Tailed Shardback Scorpion would be his taming target.
"Constantine, let's go back. You guys rest well today. Tomorrow morning we'll enter the Underworld and kill that black dragon," George said.
The others stopped what they were doing, looking a bit tired. A whole night of fighting had taken a toll on them too.
"Understood, Lord. Then we'll go back to our base first," Constantine immediately returned to the Death Graveyard.
It had become his territory, and no one dared to enter.
George left the Abyss Realm directly and went back to the real world.
He still needed to go to the Class Changer Association to pick up a crystal ball and start the Keeper class advancement quest.
It was just dawn. George quickly washed up, called a taxi, and headed straight to the Class Changer Association.
It was still early, and the association had just opened. Anna was here, which was rare.
"Mr. George, why did you come so early?" Anna rushed over to greet him warmly.
"Uh, I have something to do. Also, get me two more crystal balls," George didn't waste time, just spoke directly.
"Ah?" Anna gasped, her voice slightly trembling, "You... You didn't reach level 50, did you?"
George smiled and didn't say much.
"Whew," Anna took a deep breath and tried to calm herself, then sighed, "I really don't know what you are."
She waved to Carol to bring out two crystal balls and still didn't charge him anything.
"Mr. George, tomorrow is the College Entrance Exam. Don't push yourself too hard. Take more rest," she said with concern, worried that George would work too hard and affect his exam.
"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I have some materials here, and I already took care of them," George said, seeing that there was no one in the hall. He didn't feel like going to the back yard, so he just poured out the materials from his bag.
"60-level Twin-Tailed Shardback Scorpion materials!" Anna gasped again, looked closely at George, and didn't know what to say.
After a long silence, she finally said, "Mr. George, I'll help you process these materials when I get to the Sovereign City. I don't trust the new manager here, and the price for these materials is higher in the Sovereign City."
"You can arrange it however you want," George didn't care much about it.
"By the way, do you have Soulbind Blossom, Essence-Anchor Herb, Jade Elixir, and Crafted Relic here?"
George asked, thinking about the materials needed to make the Fusion Elixir.
Anna thought for a moment and said, "These are all S-tier or higher materials. I can help you get Soulbind Blossom and Essence-Anchor Herb, but Jade Elixir is only available in the Sovereign City. And what is a Crafted Relic? I've never heard of it. I need to look into it."
"Not in a hurry. After the College Entrance Exam is over, I'll probably head to the Sovereign City anyway," George knew these things were hard to get.
But even Anna didn't know about the Crafted Relic. That meant it must be super rare, maybe even undiscovered by anyone.
So, he would have to find it himself.
George had nothing else to do, so he put the crystal balls away and left.
He started the Keeper Fifth Rank advancement quest, just like before, which required killing an Abyss boss. But this time, the boss had to be 60-level and have a stage of S or higher.
"I wonder if the black dragon boss in the Underworld meets the requirements?" George was curious, but not too worried. Killing a 60-level Abyss boss with an S-tier stage wasn't hard for him.
He had a quick breakfast outside, called a taxi, and returned to his villa. Then he fell asleep.
Not long after, the next day came.
George took a cold shower, feeling refreshed. He took out the Underworld Realm pass and waited for it to open.
This was the College Entrance Exam realm test. The Underworld pass would only be open for five minutes. After five minutes, no one could enter anymore.
There must be millions of people taking the College Entrance Exam. Can this realm hold so many people?
George was confused, but he didn't think too much. He just waited quietly.
Soon, at 9 a.m., the Underworld pass glowed and was successfully activated.
[Do you want to enter the Underworld Realm?]
[This realm is a College Entrance Exam test realm. It will expire in seven days. You get points by killing D-tier or higher monsters. Killing one D-tier boss or surviving more than three days will let you pass. Do you want to enter?]
"Enter," George had already known the rules of the test realm, so he chose to enter quickly.
The space trembled. The scene changed quickly. The next second, George was in the Underworld Realm.
It was a dense forest, a relatively safe area. Light was still flashing around, and many students taking the test were being teleported here too.
"A-tier shield warriors, form a team with strong damage and support jobs. Requirement: 20-level or higher."
"S-tier elite team, need one more mage. Come with S-tier or higher class."
"B-tier warrior, anyone to take me?"
The shouting around them never stopped. Students were teleported here, all trying to find a group.
The College Entrance Exam allowed teaming up, but the points from killing monsters were shared equally.
"SSR-tier Blazing Angel Knight, join an SS-tier or higher class, level 30 or above," a familiar voice called out from nearby.
Blazing Angel Knight?
George looked over and a cold smile curled on his lips. It was Kent.
What a pain in the ass.
"George? It's really you!" Kent noticed George, his eyes lit up. He quickly moved forward with two people by his side.
These two were the teammates he had just found. Both were SS-tier, and their levels were over 30.
"Ha," Kent chuckled, his eyes full of mockery. He looked George up and down and said coldly, "George, you really came here. You're just lucky to run into me so soon. That's your bad luck."
George nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's pretty unlucky."
"Hmph. Still trying to act tough? No one's here to protect you. You're dead today," Kent said coldly, his killing intent obvious.
"Mr. Kent, the exam realm doesn't allow fights. Are we really going to attack this guy?" One of them hesitated, speaking up.
The exam realm had clear rules against fighting, but it still happened. People just did it in secret, not openly.
"What's there to be afraid of? He's just a waste. And he'll be killed by a monster anyway," Kent said coldly, his eyes scanning the crowd, warning them.
Everyone shivered, stepping back and staying quiet.
Come on, this was a top-tier SSR-class warrior. He was even recruited by the Sovereign City Temple Guild. They couldn't afford to mess with him.
"Go! Don't give him a chance to run!" Kent shouted, rushing forward. His body became a blur as he attacked George.
"Such a fool."
George smirked. He didn't even need to summon his pet. A staff appeared in his hand, and the temperature around him dropped quickly.
Frozen Expanse!
In an instant, Kent and his two guys were frozen solid. They stared in shock, disbelief in their eyes.
"Die, Frost Arrow!"
George shouted, and a bunch of ice arrows formed, flying straight at the three.
Boom!
Blood mist filled the air, and the ice shattered. Two of them were dead.
But Kent suddenly burst into bright light, blocking the ice arrows. He coughed up blood and was sent flying back.
"Huh. Not bad, Blazing Angel Knight. You've got some skills," George was a bit surprised. He stepped forward, and more Frost Arrows formed in his hand.
"Impossible!" Kent got up from the ground, staring at George in disbelief. "You were a waste. Why are you so strong?"
He had a feeling that he couldn't even fight back against George. The gap in power was too big.
"Too much talking."
George waved his hand, and a bunch of ice arrows shot toward Kent, covering him completely.
