If there was one thing people should know about Jin, it was not to mess with his loved ones. As someone who valued the concept of family, disrupting that would lead to serious consequences. And unfortunately for these three women, they would suffer the consequences of messing with his family.

The first woman didn't even know when Jin had grabbed her head, nor could she do anything about it. Everything happened too fast for her to process. One moment, she saw Jin's anger, and the next, she was already dead as he had smashed her head into the ground.

"HOLY FUCK!"

"I'll hold him off! You get—"

Jin flew past the second woman, the speed of his movement tearing her to shreds as he grabbed the neck of the third woman.

"It doesn't matter if you turn into a brain-dead bastard." He entered her mind, destroying her psyche as he read through her memories. He managed to find out that the Sons of Adam did, in fact, take Angella, Addison, and Bittany, but he couldn't find the location of their base.

"Fucking useless piece of shit!" He threw the woman into the cave wall, coating it in red paint.

He flew away, thinking about what to do next.

'I can't track them with mana because this entire city is a fucking mana zone! I'm stronger than I was before, but still not strong enough to overpower the mana zone! Dammit! What should I....Right! The Aegis Corps! I need to check the Aegis Corps!'

Jin changed his course and headed straight to the Aegis Corps main building. He assumed the cult would be hiding in plain sight, so the main building would be the obvious choice. Well, actually, Olympus was his first thought, but they blew it up, so that was off the table.

On his way to the Aegis Corps, he was shot out of the sky and landed on the roof of a nearby building.

"What the hell was that?" When Jin rose to his feet, three individuals stood in front of him. They all wore a black metallic power suit with helmets that prevented Jin from seeing their faces.

"You wanna dance with me too? I'll have you know, I'm extremely pissed off right now. So, since you volunteered to be my personal punching bags, I have no choice but to use you to relieve my anger!"

Jin ran so fast that it looked as if he teleported, grabbing the head of the first person. The person acted just as fast, teleporting out of Jin's grasp, but then again, they were dealing with Jin.

When the person teleported away, Jin was already behind them, kicking them in the back.

The other two joined in, one having the power to create webs, while the other had the ability to stretch their body in any way they wanted.

Jin was wrapped in webbing, restraining his movements, and then an electrical current from the power suit flowed through the webs, shocking him until he was smoking.

The stretchy person followed up by creating a large fist and then slamming Jin down to the ground through the building.

"Target Neutralized." The person said, their two companions walking up to their side.

"Is that so?" Jin appeared behind the trio, blasting one of them in the head with energy that went through their eye and destroyed their helmet.

When Jin got a good look at who they were, he froze.

This quick opening allowed the teleporting person and the stretchy person to attack Jin, but he defended against their attacks.

'High tech, powers, and great combat skill! These people are highly trained. But how in the world did that person I killed have powers? T-That was a man, wasn't it?'

The teleporting person appeared in front of Jin, then behind him when Jin tried to punch. When Jin turned around, the teleporting person was gone, replaced by the stretchy one, and their stretchy arms wrapped around Jin's body.

"Target bound. Eliminate him."

"Like hell you will!" Jin flash froze the stretchy person, then shattered their arms and punched their head clean off.

The teleporting person kept moving around, but the moment Jin caught them with his mana, he crushed their bones, then pulled them toward him, ripping off the helmet.

"Impossible!"

Jin ran over to the stretchy guy, melting the ice, and unfortunately, pulled down his pants since he shattered their head. The moment he saw the man's lower half, he finally realized what the Sons of Adam planned on doing all along.

"They aren't using the device to strip women of their powers for energy, they're stripping women of their powers so they can give it to men!"

He took a closer look at the bodies. "Their bones, it's... metallic. And the blood...Computer, analyze."

[Analyzing...Nanites are present in the bloodstream.]

"T-Then, that means..."

[Also detecting traces of Phoenix Core energy in the body.]

"Fucking hell!" Jin quickly scanned all of them, called Oculia to his location, then took off toward the Aegis Corps.

He still had to find Brittany, Angela, and Addison. Once he was close and slightly out of sight, he dug down into the ground.

Using both his mana and technology, Jin searched the entire underground to see where he could find the secret lab or place where the Sons of Adam operated, but he couldn't.

'How? How? How?!' Anger rose in him once again as he flew out of the ground and into space.

He wasn't going to let his loved ones die; he couldn't. This life, the life of a warrior, he hated it. He just wanted to retire. But fate had different plans for him.

Jin kept flying until he reached the Sons of Adam space station, or at least where he should have been. He had told the Aegis Corps about it when he was still with them, but he never expected the space station to be gone already.

"FUCKKKK!" Jin rocketed back to earth, not knowing what to do.

The Aegis Corps couldn't help him. The military wouldn't be able to help him. The police can't help him. And he couldn't even help himself.

Jin knew that if he kept acting with anger, he would lose himself, so he went back home to his apartment to cool his head.

"I'll find you guys, I promise," Jin muttered under his breath.

"It's so sweet that you are trying your hardest to find your friends. I feel touched."

Jin froze, hearing a familiar voice inside his apartment. This voice wasn't a friendly one, but one that irks him to the core.

"You!" Jin snarled.

"Yes, me." The speaker chuckled
