Jin nearly lost his mind. He couldn't believe that the Láspi were already in the solar system. If he had known, he wouldn't have come to this planet in the first place, not that he had any control over that at all.
"Dammit! Now I'm starting to wish that I wasn't reincarnated the way I normally am." The thing with Jin's reincarnation was that it wasn't instant.
To him, he always reincarnated instantly. When he died, he would go to the void realm to speak with those supreme beings, add his power to his main body, then be reincarnated and wake up right away in the body of a baby.
But to the rest of the universe, that short sequence could be mere moments or a billion years.
In Jin's own personal timeline, he was on life number 488 when he lived on planet Noxos, and he was alive when Zion destroyed the Láspi planet. So this meant that it was over 10 million years ago in the universe, but to Jin, that was at most 20 thousand years ago.
"Computer, I'm inputting some new data right now. I want you to track where the Láspi could be and inform me of their locations. Also, keep running simulations to figure out what we could use to beat them."
[Understood.]
"Good. Now, I have to speak with someone."
---
"Hmmm, here seems like a good spot." Jin flew down to an open area in the middle of nowhere, touching down on the ground and concentrating.
Like Salora City, this open area was a mana zone, but unlike Salora, it wasn't polluted by people and industrialization, so he could focus better out here.
Jin got into a meditative state, called upon the being he wanted to speak to.
"Will of the world, I wish to speak with you." Jin focused, hoping the world would answer, but he got no response.
"Typical. Worlds like to keep to themselves. Oh well, guess we're doing this the hard way." Jin was now powerful enough to use stronger magic, and one of the spells he could use was called Nexus Point.
It was a spell that used Nexus energy, the energy of planets and stars. If he used it on the planet and was able to beat its defenses, he could basically become the god of the world, but that was easier said than done.
But what Jin wanted to do was hurt the world enough to force it to speak with him.
"Wake your bitch ass up!" He slapped the ground, causing a massive tremor that ripped the ground apart.
The ground shook, rumbling so much that an earthquake occurred.
Jin smiled, knowing that his plan was working, so he attacked again, but right before he did, he was teleported into a black space.
"Did it really take you getting beaten to answer me?" Jin asked the glowing white ball of energy.
"How do you know about me?" The ball turned into a young girl.
"Whoa, that's new. Since when did you planets take on the appearance of a person?"
"Willow told us that it was pretty cool to do." The will replied.
"Willow? Who's that? Wait! Planet Zion's will? What the fuck? Anyway, I need you to add mana to the world and give men powers. The Láspi have come, and they aren't here to mess around."
"No."
"Do I need to smack you again?"
"By no, I mean that I can't. I'm a new seed. Only a billion years old. It was a miracle that life appeared on me before the 5 billion-year mark." The will inform him.
"Wait, you're not natural? You were made?"
"Yes."
"That's even better! Only primodials can create planets with wills fully conscious from the start! Where's your creator?" Jin was starting to get hopeful.
"They are...I don't know. After I was created, they left and told me to grow."
Jin now lost hope. "Dammit. Okay, can you increase the power of your magnetosphere without compromising yourself or the planet?"
"I can."
"Then I need you to do that. The Láspi are weak to anything that is remotely close to electricity, lightning, bla bla bla, you get me."
"Hmmm. Fine. But how did you know about me? My inhabitants don't know about me, yet you do. Wait, you can use mana? How?"
"I'm a reincarnator."
"Oh. That makes sense. Anyway, I'll help with the magnetosphere, but that's all."
"That's good enough." Jin left the black void.
"Fucking bastard." Jin hated talking to planets. They were arrogant, selfish, and overall stupid. They never care about their population and let them die as they see everything as a natural cycle of life, even if it means they die in the process.
'While my simulations do their thing, I'm going to go relax for a bit. My mind is about to explode, and I need to think of something else.'
---
"We found it, Mrs Horton!" The space team said, locating the remains of the asteroid that had the Láspi on it.
"Good. Don't break the barrier. We'll use that to aid us with our research since the creature can't get out of it. Take it to the moon colony. I already informed the director up there about the situation."
"Understood."
"Do you think this is a good idea?" A woman asked on the ship.
"Hey, we're just following orders. This job puts food on the table that lets me take care of my husband and kids."
"That's fair, but what about the risks? Don't you think the well-being of our planet is better than researching this?"
"Do you remember what Mrs Horton said? Studying this is the way to help us fight against this creature. And that Jin fellow was talking a lot of mumbo jumbo if you ask me."
The woman who was worried fell silent for a bit. She didn't want to do this at all, but this was her job, and it put food on the table.
"I just hope nothing bad happens."
"Haha! Don't worry. This barrier is keeping that monster in check. It's Jin's tech as well, and you know how advanced his tech is. Such a genius kid. Besides, Mrs Horton and the director of the moon base are extremely powerful. They can handle things if anything goes wrong."
"Maybe you're right."
