The ship docked, carrying the asteroid with it. Since the asteroid was mostly destroyed, it wasn't that huge, plus there were already thrusters on it, thanks to Jin making the asteroid fly off into space, so it wasn't hard to move at all.
"The package is secured." The women on the ship informed Mrs Horton.
"Good. You can head back to the planet now. The director of our moon sector will now handle everything else." She informed them
"Understood."
Mrs Horton then called the director of their sector. "Trinity, you there?"
"Lacey! Nice to hear your voice again! Have I told you that you have the voice of a goddess?"
"Yes, you have, many times. In fact, a goddess... never mind. I wanted to ask if you managed to secure the asteroid."
"Jeez, you're not even letting me analyze what you brought to my sector. The thing just arrived."
Mrs Horton sighed. "I know, but you need to know that what's in the barrier is extremely dangerous." Mrs Horton explained everything to her, from the first team that went to the asteroid to the recent team with Jin.
"Oh, that's some crazy shit. Our powers could handle it with ease, right?" Trinity asked
"I don't know. It absorbed powers before, so who's to say that our powers wouldn't get absorbed? It's better to be safe than sorry, so don't take any chances."
Trinity understood. Her power was the exact opposite of Mrs Horton's, pure destruction, so if her powers were taken, then that would be bad news.
"I'll let you know when I uncover something about our mysterious alien creature."
"Thank you."
"Oh, Lacey, send that Jin fellow up here. I wish to meet with him. He sounds smart and fun."
"I'll do just that."

"Hahahahaha! Don't think that just because it's been a year since you escaped that your crimes are gonna be swept under the rug!" Angela was out of the infirmary and was on the streets chasing after criminals who were still on the run after the event that had gone down last year.
"Fucking hell! I just wanna see my son!" The woman who was running shot acid from her hands, missing Angela, but hitting a mail bin, melting it.
Angela scoffed. "If you wanna see him, then do the time and get out!" She froze the woman's legs, then punched her in the face, knocking her out.
"Besides, the prison allows for visitations."
"Busy?" Jin asked, flying next to her after his little field trip.
"Not anymore. What's up?" Angela slapped some cuffs on the woman and picked her up.
"I just wanna hand out, take my mind off the current situation, relax for a bit. Also, why didn't I get a call telling me that you're up?" He remembred telling Mrs Horton to tell him when they woke up.
"We did call you."
"Huh? Really?" Jin checked his phone, and yeah, he had four missed calls. Three from each of the girls, and one from Mrs Horton.
"Oh. I was probably talking to the world at that time."
"Huh?"
"Nothing."
Angela shrugged. "Well, after I take her back to prison, I'm down to hang out. I don't know about the others, though. What did you have in mind?"
"Bowling."
Angela nearly dropped the woman. "Bowling? Are you serious, dude?"
"Yeah? Why?"
"Why?" Angela nearly slapped him. "You HATE bowling!"
"Right. But you don't."
"Aw so sweet. NOT! All you're gonna do is sulk and be like 'man, I shouln't have chosen blowling' after getting your ass kicked by me!"
Jin didn't deny that he would probably feel that way, but he still wanted to go. Bowling was good for when you wanted to do something and nothing at the same time. That was just what Jin needed right now.
"So do you want to go or not?" He asked
"You know I'm always down to hang out with you. But are you paying?"
Jin nearly choked on his saliva. "Am I paying? The rich kid is asking me that?"
"Yeah, bitch. You're the one who suggested this hangout session, so you'd better pay for it."
Jin couldn't refute that. "Fine. I'll call the others and see if they want to join."

"Really, Mom? I woke up not too long ago, and you already sent me to work?" Addison was with her mother at her company because there was a break-in at one of the facilities.
"Addy, your sisters have no interest in taking over the business; you do, so I have to make sure that you're prepared for everything. This includes handling trivial things like this."
"Ugh, but don't we hire people to handle these things?"
"We do, but you fail to grasp how terrible people are at the one thing they have to do. Sometimes, you have to treat even an adult like a child because that's the only way they'll respond."
Addison giggled. "So you're calling some of your workers idiots?"
"Yes, I am, because that's what they are."
As they continued walking, Addison got a call from Jin. "Oh, it's Jin!"
Adeline smiled when she heard that it was him calling her. She already liked him, but now, she respected Jin after rescuing Addison and helping restore her powers.
"What's up? Yes, I'm busy right now. It shouldn't take longer than thirty minutes. Yeah, I'm down to hang out. What? Bowling? You hate bowling! Hahaha! Okay, I'll see you there then. Wow, you're paying? Angela forced you to, huh? Hahah! Okay, bye." She hung up.
"You have good friends. Have you noticed that your elitist behavior is gone?" Adeline asked
"Wow, I totally forgot I was like that before."
"Indeed. But you have grown and are maturing. All signs of a great leader. Now, let's handle this problem so you can go hang out with your friends."
"You bet!"
---
"So Addison is coming. Now it's time for Brittany." Jin dialed her number.
"You might wanna talk to her in person," Angela suggested.
"Huh? Why?"
"She was really out of it when we woke up. She looked...spooked."
Jin furrowed his brow, hung up the phone, then started hovering. "I'll see you at the Bowling Alley."
"Got it. I have to drop this bitch off anyway."
Jin nodded, then took off.
"Nnnghh." The woman started waking up.
"Go back to sleep." Angela punched her in the face, knocking her out once more.
