Jin instantly got to work. The first thing that came to his mind was increasing the bioelectrical field around a person's body. This field could serve as a good counter to the Láspi.
There was one problem, though. The bioelectrical field was critical to a person's life. One mess up and they're dead or would be in critical condition.
Mana was an easy way to counter this, but unless the mana was more powerful than the Láspi, then it would be able to eat it.
The Láspi was even able to shut down Jin's mana, but that was only because Jin was pulling from space instead of his body. When he killed the Láspi using the black hole, he used his own personal mana, not the mana that was present in space.
"Everyone has dark matter and energy inside their bodies. If I can create some sort of vaccine that activates that energy in their bodies when in contact with a Láspi, then that would be extremely helpful. This way, people can fight the creature without worrying about getting dissolved."
Jin's thought process was that the mana in their body would supercharge their bioelectrical field, blocking the Láspi from absorbing them. The slight burst of mana would also help protect them.
"The problem is that people here aren't used to containing mana in their bodies and haven't cleaned out their system. Their insides are probably filled with all sorts of gunk and shit like that. While this 'vaccine' would still help them, it could hurt them as well."
There was so much to do with so little time. He was thankful that the will of the world agreed to help, even if it was a little, but that was better than nothing.
So, Jin locked himself in his lab, creating a 'vaccine' that would allow people to counter the effects of the Láspi if it came in contact with them. While it wasn't a way to defeat it, it would be a way to not have it get stronger or smarter.
While Jin was at it, he gave his computer another command.
"Computer, lock on to every celestial body that we have confirmed has the presence of a Láspi on it."
[Which ammo type do you wish to use?]
"Singularity ammo."

Back on the moon base, Trinity was surveying the area where the Láspi had attacked. As the Director of this section of the moon colony, she completely failed at her job.
She understood why Jin didn't want this creature to be messed with, and she wished she had listened to that warning. If she had, then many of the women that she lost today would have made it back to their families.
"This is a disaster." She sighed.
"Everything is handled, Director." A woman next to her said with a tablet in hand.
"Is it? Sure, the Láspi may have been stopped, but all of this death and destruction was for what? To learn more about it? Honestly, I value the lives of the people who work under me than a science experiment. I only agreed to this because Lacey is my friend."
"What will you do now?" The woman asked
"For now, we will rebuild and honor our fallen today. Then, we'll keep a lookout for anything extraterrestrial in case something like this happens again."
The woman nodded. "Understood."
"Blerghhhh!!"
Over where the dead bodies were, some scientists were seen throwing u,p which was perfectly normal since not every scientist worked with dead bodies.
"Jeez, dude. Why is your vomit clear?"
"I only drank water for the entire day. I'm trying to go on a diet. Can't you see that I'm extremely fat?"
"Well, you're certainly thick, but I wouldn't say fat."
"Heh, tell that to the guy you like. He said that he was only into skinny girls. Fucking bastard! I'm not like those girls who just want sex! I want love too! Dammit. I gotta—Blerghhhhh!"
"Dead bodies really do this to you, huh?"
"Y-Yes. It's so fucking disgusting. How can you people look at them without throwing up?"
"Eh, you get used to it. Go to the restroom and freshen up real quick."
"Okay."
The woman left the scene, headed to the restroom. Her stomach was still bugging her, and she ran toward the toilets.
"Fuck! I hate throwing up." She leaned over the toilet, expecting to expel all of the water she had drunk today, but instead, the moment she vomited, a clear slime came out of her mouth, then wrapped itself around her face.
"NNNGHHH! MMMMGGGHHH!! MGHRHGGRGRG!" She tried to scream, but they were muffled, not allowing her to alert anyone.
Not even her power was enough to save her here.
Soon, she felt her face starting to dissolve. The pain was so intense that she passed out, and soon, she died. But that wasn't the end for her.
The Láspi continued to dissolve her until there was nothing left but her clothes, but then everything reversed as if time started to flow backward. Her bones reformed themselves, her muscles grew back, and her entire body was reforged.
The only difference was that this time, it was the Láspi instead of the scientist.
"ARGHHHHHH! RARGHHHHHH! Arghhh! Raghhh! Ahhhh! Raaahh. Ahem. Phew, there we go. This organ, called the voice box, is very difficult to use. How do humans speak like this all the time?"
After getting herself together, the Láspi left the bathroom, heading back to the destroyed sector.
"Hey! You're back. You got everything out?"
The Láspi nodded. "Yeah, thankfully I didn't eat anything today, otherwise I would have thrown up my lunch."
"Pwahaha! Right! Unfortunately, that seemed to have happened to some of your coworkers."
"My coworkers?" The Láspi asked
"Yeah, you know, all of you who studied the Láspi. You guys are such lab rats that you can't even handle looking at dead bodies. Ha, it's really funny."
"Oh. Ha, well, you know how it is. Seeing things on TV is way different than in person."
"True that."
The Láspi looked around at the people who also vomited, and a slight smile appeared on her face. All of those who puked out their guts were infected by the Láspi.
