Jin could act the way he wanted to now because of how powerful he was. In terms of how much mana he could output, he was among the strongest in the world. The only people who could come close to him were those who had crazy powers like Creation, destruction, time, space, and so on.

"I can't catch him!"

"He's too fast!"

"Watch out!"

Jin moved like a blur, easily outmaneuvering the people chasing after him while knocking them out in the process.

He knew that the reason why he got away with a lot of bullshit was that Mrs Horton was vouching for him, and she intended for him to join the Aegis Corps.

As long as his craziness benefited the Aegis Corps, no one would do a thing. Even when he became a freelancing agent, they still allowed him to do what he wanted because he was helping the Aegis Corps.

But now that he wanted no ties with them after the most recent event, the council wouldn't allow for his actions to go unchecked.

"Jin, I'm sorry!" One woman blasted him with tons of lightning, but it did no damage to him.

"It's okay." He returned the favor, knocking her out with his own lightning.

A speedster ran at him, but he broke her leg. A woman who could turn cute things into anything she wanted turned Jin into a teddy bear, but he reversed her powers, turning her back to normal, then punched her in the face.

That one really made him upset.

After leaving the Aegis Corps base, he took off into the air faster than anyone could keep up.

"You all will thank me later," Jin said softly.

"Will we now?"

Jin turned to his side, but no one was there. It wasn't until he was struck on his other side did he saw who hit him.

Her face was blocked by the sun's rays, but he knew this woman was a powerful one.

"Really? They sent a high-ranking member just to stop me from taking a piece of metal? Seems like a waste of resources."

"Child, your games have been going on for too long. You will be punished according to the law."

"Oh, we have an oldie over here."

Jerrica moved so fast that light couldn't even keep up, still thinking that she was in the same spot. But Jin saw everything, and he blocked her punch.

"Don't think that your speed has any effect on—" He paused, noticing who it was.

At first, he felt a bit of warmth, but after collecting himself, all he felt was anger.

"You!" He growled.

"Hello, Jin, my grandson."

He lunged at her with all of his anger. He remembered going to his grandmother's house as a child, playing with her, and enjoying their time together. But after his mother died, she became cold and distant. She didn't even recognize him as her grandson, her only living relative.

Jin, even now, took this extremely hard because he was a family-oriented man. Family was the most important thing to him, so to see his grandmother, who had abandoned him, made his emotions rise.

Jerrica caught his punch, but was surprised by how powerful he was. Her feet dug into the air as she tried to stop her momentum, but Jin still pushed her back.

"Mother will be happy when she finds out that her useless egg donor was sent to hell by her son." Jin's hand that Jerrica was holding started glowing, and before she could move, it exploded.

"Nnngh!" She was sent flying backward at an alarming rate, but Jin was already coming at her with a massive scythe made out of mana.

"Ready to die, grandma?!" He asked with an expression of lust, one that was directed toward death instead of sexual attraction.

"You're far too young to take my life, boy." She punched the air and everything froze.

She then flew up to Jin, kneeing him in the stomach, and punched him in the face. She grabbed him by the hair so she could get another attack in, but something impaled her gut instead.

Her eyes widened in shock

"What? Surprised that I can move? I studied your powers, grandmother. Controlling kinetic energy is child's play." He slapped her hand out of the way, gripped her throat, and blasted her in the chest.

He flew beneath her, kicking her further into the air, the flew above her and slammed her down onto the ground.

They were on the outskirts of town, so there weren't any civilians around.

When she landed, a large crater was formed.

"Clench your teeth!" Jin shouted as he landed on her chest with his knees from high up in the sky.

"ARGHHHHHHH!!" Jerrica shouted in pain.

"Yeah, that's it. Scream for me." Jin picked her up, then punched her back into the ground, and he did this again, and again, and again.

Finally, he grabbed her once more, created a blade of mana around his hand, then stabbed her in the heart.

"In your next life, don't abandon your family when they need you." Jin dropped her and started to fly away. But before he could get high in the sky, something grabbed his leg.

"It's very interesting, my grandson. There's no way a power kit can do what you just did."

"What the fu—"

Jerrica struck Jin's chest with her palm, completely destroying his power kit and breaking the bones in his chest. Jin was sent flying away, then the shockwave from her attack appeared, making a loud booming sound.

Jin tumbled like a tumbleweed all over the ground until coming to a stop. He was hurt, but not incapacitated in the slightest. In fact, he healed instantly and stood back up. He was a bit winded, though.

"Right. Kinetic energy. She's in the transcendent tier for a reason. All of my attacks just made her stronger." Jin felt a bit of blood run down his nose, which really shocked him. But it was his power that hurt him, so his shock died down.

"Did your anger make you forget that getting attacked makes me stronger?" Jerrica asked, walking over to Jin.

"Yeah." He wiped the blood from his nose. "I should have come to my senses when you weren't bleeding from any of my attacks, even when I stabbed you in the heart."

He cracked his neck. "But don't worry, I won't make the same mistake again." Jin was about to get serious when an alert came through to his internal power kit, the one connected to his metallic skeleton.

"That dumb bitch! What is she doing?! Why is the Aegis Corps launching a mission to asteroids with the Láspi on them?" Jin took off, but Jerrica caught him again.

"You're not going anywhere."

"Listen, wench. I don't have time to deal with you when your stupid ass employees are risking the lives of the planet!" Jin activated his full power then blasted Jerrica away.

"We'll settle this later." He took off into space.

"Wow, I actually felt that." She spat blood out of her mouth. "You have an amazing son, Jessa."
