Mrs Horton didn't know if she said more than she should have, but it didn't matter anymore since she had already spoken about Jin's stimulant.

"A very smart person made a stimulant that prevents the Láspi from latching on to us. This way, we can combat it without having to worry about getting killed." Mrs Horton explained.

Holly and Polybotea looked at the Láspi as it was currently being doused with tons of volts, then back to Mrs Horton.

"Let us speak with this person. It will make things easier for us."

"That...is impossible."

"Listen, Lacena. The leaders of our country are not happy with the secrecy that went on here. If you wish not to start a war with us, then I'd suggest you comply. You're representing your council, no?" Polybotea asked

"I am."

"Then you have the authority to green-light this request."

She sighed. "The reason why it's impossible is that the person who made it no longer works for us."

"So? Just call her up and tell her that you need more of her stimulants." Holly didn't see how that was a big deal.

"First of all, he's a male. Second, he isn't on good terms with us."

"Heh, hahaha! Have you let a man run wild? This is why we have doubled down on...domesticating them." Polybotea smirked, glancing over at her assistant, who was taking notes.

"Your relationship doesn't matter to us. You either give us what we want or don't. But if you don't, then there will be consequences." Holly expressed.

Again, Mrs Horton sighed. She didn't even have extra of the stimulant that Jin had given them, not like it would matter. They tried to reverse engineer the stimulant from Jerrica's blood and got nowhere.

"Honestly, fighting a war would be better than messing with Jin Telegard." She chucked to herself.

Holly's body twitched. She knew of the last name Telegard. They were once a prominent family in their country. However, she heard that they stopped producing powerful heirs because of constant assassinations and having too much power.

The last thing she knew about them was that their heirs to the Telegard family were dead, and only Jerrica remained.

"There's another Telegard?" Holly asked

"Yes." Miss Lockman answered this one.

"Is he related to Jerrica Telegard?"

"That's his grandmother."

Holly then understood. Jin's mother was a woman from the Women's Enhancement Program. She knew about this because her country had a similar program. That was also how she and Mrs Horton became friends, since they both were investigating it and it took them overseas.

"I do not care who this boy is. Demand his aid, or I will do it for you." Polybotea growled.

"Pfft, yeah, if you want to die, that is." Miss Lockman laughed.

Polybotea got annoyed and started cracking her knuckles. "Are you threatening me?"

"No. But Jin would probably kill you if you tried and mess with him. Trust me, not our Council was able to keep him in check. He's too unpredictable, too smart, and too powerful. Just messing with him the wrong way would cost you your nation. We're lucky Jin hasn't cracked yet, or else we would have been long gone."

Upon hearing that, Polybotea was interested to learn who this Jin Telegard fellow was. Still, her impression of him was low since he was a man.

"I will stay in town for two weeks. During that time, convince this Jin fellow to aid us; otherwise, we will declare war on your country. I have been given permission to threaten you with this, and I intend to go forward with this threat if things don't go to my liking." Polybotea then walked to the teleporter with her assistant and teleported away.

"The same thing applies to Ouranous." Holly left with her assistant as well.

"Well, Mrs Horton, we're gonna have to do a lot of begging."

"Don't remind me."

"Have you been able to get into the black box yet?" Jin asked, also going over all of the information in the data stick that was given to him.

He wanted to make use of all the information that was provided to help himself if he needed it.

A good bit of the data was useful, while some wasn't. Still, he downloaded all of it and worked with what he had.

What he really wanted was to get inside the black box. The information he needed was in there, and Jess was struggling to open it without deleting the data inside.

[Breaking into it, while it's hard, it's not impossible, and I've already run the numbers, so I can break into it with a bit more time. But the information will be deleted.]

"Use the same method we used to stop the data from being deleted as we did with the other encrypted data."

[This isn't as easy as that. If that encryption had a level, it would be Extreme. This level for the black box would be impossible.]

The difference between extreme and impossible was huge, so Jin understood.

"Do it in increments, then. Only take parts of the information stored in it at a time. It should make things easier, right?"

[Yeah, but that's also a longer process.]

"Well, it's your choice. I was just trying to be helpful."

[If you wanted to be helpful, then you would be hacking this shit with me!]

"Yeah, no. I built you, so I wouldn't have to do that. You're supposed to be smart."

[You mother—Hold on. Jin, I got something. I think you might like it as well.]

"Send it over."

Jess sent the data to his power kit, and Jin started going over it right away. Then, something caught his attention.

"Rascal! You downloaded data in increments! You said you wouldn't do that!"

[FUCK OFF AND READ THE SHIT!]

"Yeah, yeah!" Jin started it. "What the fuck?" What Jess managed to uncover was the entire list of people who worked on the Women Enhancement Program.

"Now we're getting somewhere!" Jin continued reading, feeling closer to uncovering the truth of what happened behind his mother's death.
