"My chest fucking hurts," Jin complained.

"Really? It's not like you got your fucking heart ripped out or anything!" Anyssa said sarcastically, holding Jin up as they walked to a bench to sit down on.

"How did you even know I was there?" He asked

After killing the Láspi, Jin suddenly collapsed. He needed to recover his strength since his body was working overtime with his brain and heart.

"I was there to help defend in case anything happened. I saw you flying toward this city, so I followed you and found you on the ground."

"Best aunt ever. Thanks."

"Hehe, you can say that again."

Jin smiled.

"Mrs Horton?" Jin called

"Jin! It's nice to hear your voice. How are you?"

"I could be better. You should head to the moon right now. That shit is fucking split in half. Fucking crazy."

"So that's why the tides are acting up right now. Okay, thanks for letting me know."

"Yup." After stretching for a bit, Jin felt as if he was good to go. he could feel that his body was fully healed, and he was ready to go to the black box.

[Ready to go?] Jess asked

"Yup. Lead the way. I'll be seeing you, Auntie."

Jess took control of Jin's power kit, then flew him to the location of the black box.

The ocean was going through it since the moon was split in half. Waves were extremely high the water looked as if it were angry.

This didn't stop Jin from 'doinking' into the ocean, swimming all the way to the ocean floor where the black box was located.

When he finally spotted it, he understood why it was called the black box. It was literally a black box.

"They really hit the nail on that name, huh?"

[Eh, I think it works.]

"I don't blame them either. I would probably name it that as well."

[But shouldn't this place be called the Vault instead?]

Jin remembered that it was indeed called the Vault. "Fuck it. It's the black box now."

[Haha! So real.]

Just from scanning the box, Jin could tell that this was the maximum of maximum security places of all time. He couldn't even hack into the system, and every single angle of the place was defended in some type of way.

Even the box itself was a defense mechanism, as a fish, which wasn't seen as a threat, swam into it, being zapped to death upon touching the box.

"Time for some magic." Jin walked through the wall. That's it. He didn't need to do anything fancy.

"Scan the place. I need a map."

[Already done.]

Thankfully, Jin was able to get a map of the place, which made it easier to navigate the...white box.

"Why is the box on the inside white? What is this? A fucking piano?"

[The piano box.]

"Haha, for real."

He made his way to the filing room, passing by many secrets that he wouldn't be able to hack at the moment.

[Jess, go ahead and take all the data from here. We can hack it at a later date.]

"Are you acting like me again?"

[Yes.]

He rolled his eyes and continued to look for the black box. The real black box, not the vault.

Using his magic, it was very easy to find it, as there was only one black box in the room. It was a very small box, about the size of a grown woman's palm.

"Is this a subspace?" Jin cracked it open, and a bunch of files flew out. "Ha, it is!" He scanned the box to add to his data archives.

"Okay, Women Enhancement Program. Let's see where you are."

Jin and Jess searched through the files, looking for the information he wanted. After two minutes, he found it.

"Haha! Nice!"

[Put all of the files out so I can scan all of them.]

Jin did as she requested, and every document was scanned.

"You go ahead and read through all of that. I'll read through this."

[Got it.]

Jin read through the file, feeling closer to uncovering everything about what happened to his mother.

Most of the information he read was already told to him, so he just skimmed through those parts. However, he found something that caught his attention.

"Hold on. It says here that the Women Enhancement Program was only one part of a larger project. Hmm. Okay, it also says more about my mom and her killing some of the other survivors, but...hold on...Ally was the one who ordered her to kill the survivors? Why?"

Jin scrubbed through more of the documents, but he couldn't find anything. What he did learn was that Carly ordered Erosa to kill his mother, which is what he already knew. He also knew that Erosa ran away before being terminated by the Corps, only to be killed by him.

[Jin! I need you to take a look at this.] She directed Jin to a file, telling him to read it.

The file contained information about the Dimensional Slicer. This was great, and it was also information that he needed, but then he saw something that made his blood run cold.

"Women's Evolution Project Part 2." His throat ran dry as he read the file.

"Once a woman passes the initial testing that evolves their body, some will be taken to the [Redacted] facility so they can be tested for their compatibility with the dimensional slicer. Once they are able to be used as batteries, the ultimate weapon would be created. - Carly Myer"

He then looked at a rough sketch of how the dimensional slicer would operate, and he saw that the women would be placed inside it, having their powers siphoned by the machine.

"O-Only surviving candidate...J-Jessa Telegard." His hands started to shake.

[Jin.] Jess tried to calm him down.

"Do we have the location of the dimensional slicer?"

[Yes, we do.] She put the coordinates into his power kit.

Jin wasted no time and took off toward the location, blasting through the water and flying as fast as he could.

He didn't even care if he was seen or heard, arriving quickly and flying straight through the building toward the lower level, where the dimensional slicer was.

"Intruder!"

"All forces, engage the intruder!"

"They're on the lower level!"

"Shoot to kill!"

Jin paid no attention to the Vangards and Guardians who were making their way to him and located the power source of the massive weapon he was standing in front of.

"Please...Please don't be here." Jin pried the metal open, not caring that he was damaging the weapon, and saw a beautiful woman lying there, tubes injected in her arms, legs, and chest.

Every bit of sanity that Jin had vanished that instant. His humility, his forgiving attitude, and his carefree nature all disappeared, being replaced with an overwhelming amount of rage, fury, and the urge to kill anyone who dared to look at him wrong.

"M-Mom." His voice cracked as he looked at his mother, who was clearly alive and breathing. He removed the tubes, stopping whatever was being injected into her body, and seeing where she was shot in the chest, her heart being replaced by a phoenix core.

There was no saliva in Jin's throat for him to even swallow. His shaking hands hovered over his mother's chest, mending the hole, her flesh regenerating, and he clothed her naked body.

A portal to his pocket dimension then opened, and he gently rested her inside it, making sure she was okay before closing it.

"Jin Telegard! You have stolen Aegis Corps Property! Release it, and this matter will be thrown under the table." Brigida said, arriving when she learned that Jin had infiltrated the building.

"Heh. Aegis Corps property, you say?" He turned to look at everyone, tears flowing from his eyes like rivers.

Black energy blanketed his body, his pupils turning black, his nails turning black, and the black energy turned into a cloak that wrapped around him, still in the form of energy.

A weapon started to materialize, a large two-handed scythe that radiated power. His skin lost its pigment, becoming pale, and his tears of water turned into tears of blood.

He became what others called him in his previous lives, The Reaper.

He took one last deep breath, clearing his mind of any conflicting thoughts. The only thing that was inside his head at the moment was getting revenge and watching the world drown in blood.

"I'm going to kill all of you." He swung his scythe, and the thousands of Vanguards and Guardians lost their heads in an instant.
