Thrusted into a world ruled by women

Chapter 192: Everyone can use Mana!

"I'm home." Jin stepped through the door, holding some groceries. He decided to go to the store and pick up some things to eat. He could mask his appearance, so it wasn't that hard to sneak into the city.

It was weird seeing his face plastered on billboards, though. As a wanted man, his face was everywhere, and he even had to pass a police checkpoint when leaving the city.

He still kept in contact with Yuria, and while she didn't agree with him killing all those people, she agreed that the Aegis Corps was in the wrong, and she supported him.

She asked if she should join his group, but he declined, telling her that it was better to have someone on the inside. And after Karen's death, as well as the deaths of many other police officers from the Sons of Adam attack, Yuria was promoted to Chief of Police.

"Oh! Nice. You got the good stuff this time." Angela slapped his ass.

Jin didn't like it when she did that, but that was the reason why she kept doing it. But it was okay, he would just hang her upside down from a satellite again once he had the time.

"You mean junk food?" Anyssa chuckled

"Uhh yeah, the good stuff." Angela double down.

"I'll take it to the kitchen." Addison smiled.

"Thanks."

"Jin! Jin, I need help! It's not working!" Oculia ran into the room, her shirt off and boobs bouncing.

"What's wrong?" He glanced at her chest without any shame, taking in the amazing sight.

"It's this stupid ass mana bullshit! I can't create a ring!"

Over the past six months, Jin has been teaching everyone how to use mana. He knew that if he wanted to find and beat Eve, his companions needed to be as powerful as they could be.

He didn't know who Eve was, but he knew that she was an extremely powerful mage, even stronger than he is currently, and she had the advantage of knowing who he truly is, while he was scrambling to figure out who she was.

"Haha, calm down. It's okay. In order to form a ring, you have to use all of the mana in your body. The feeling might be uncomfortable since you're used to having mana in your body, but once your ring is formed, mana will flood into you like a broken dam."

Oculia frowned. "I don't know, Jin. I tried that, and it didn't work."

"Let me help."

Oculia nodded and ran back to her room with Jin following her.

She sat on her bed in the lotus position, and Jin placed his hand on her back, sending his mana into her body.

"Nngh!"

"Don't fight it. Let my mana flow freely."

Oculia did as he said, exhaling deeply. "Alright, let's go."

Her mana started to flow upward, centralizing around her heart to form a circle. Jin helped guide her mana, ensuring that she didn't stop halfway, needing to restart all over again.

Five minutes passed, and Oculia finally broke through into becoming a fully fledged mage.

It had only been six months, so none of the women were that advanced. In fact, the most skilled person by mana rankings was Anyssa, who was sitting at 3 circles right now, except for Addison.

Jin didn't even bother teaching Addison after she broke through to the first circle. Her powers were such a cheat that it basically made her a mage for free. She already had 5 circles and was nearly on her 6th.

Jin honestly wished he could cultivate like her naturally. While his speed was faster, Addison's powers were a cheat code. Normally, a highly skilled mage, or whatever the world calls a person who uses mana, can cultivate by breathing because of breathing techniques.

Addison, on the other hand, could cultivate by existing. Her powers were her DNA, and it's not like you can turn it off. This meant that Addison's DNA was mana as well. It was very trippy.

Mrs Horton was also like this. She wasn't on the level of Addison, but she was the second most skilled person here with mana. She could just create the amount of mana she needed, but still had to work for the result.

This is why he refers to Anyssa as being the most skilled. She worked for everything she had and didn't 'cheat.'

After helping Oculia break through, he went to his room to relax for a bit. It was weird seeing a clone of himself, so he wanted to relax his mind before delving into that situation.

"Jin?" A weak, weary voice called out to him.

"Mom!" Jin turned around to see his mother trying to sit up. "Let me help you."

He rushed over to her, helping her sit up.

"Thank you, my sweet."

"Of course! I-I'm just glad you're recovering properly."

Jessa had woken up around three months ago, and she was in a state of shock and panic. The last thing she remembered was being operated on before blacking out for the next 9 years.

The tubes that were connected to her body kept her sedated and didn't allow her to wake up at all.

Her body was extremely malnourished, but thanks to the Phoenix core that replaced her heart, she was able to recover quickly. Still, her body needed time to adjust to being able to move after 9 years, and her mind needed to heal.

"I still can't get over the fact that you're so grown. Y-You were only ten when I last saw you." A tear rolled down her cheek, and she placed her hand on his arm.

"Ha! I'm 19 now, ma! A grown man!" He puffed out his chest.

"My baby boy is growing up on me."

"Don't worry. I'll always be your baby boy. Just as you'll always be my mom. And guess what? Once you fully heal, your lifespan will increase by hundreds or even thousands of years!"

Jin did use healing magic on his mother, but instead of healing her body, it supercharged the phoenix core. He didn't know why, but that was just what happened. So, little by little, he was feeding her body mana to speed up her body's natural recovery system.

Jessa should be fully healed in around a weeks time, mentally and physically.

"There's a lot I want to tell you about! First, in middle school, Angela kept bullying me even more, but I was never scared of her. It was like a teddy bear trying to intimidate you. Haha! Oh, Brittany also tried to scare me one time by lifting me up in the air and..."

He continued to talk with his mother for the rest of the night while Jerrica was listening from behind the door, smiling and happy that her family was back together, even if Jinsen was no longer with them.
