"Breaking news! We have spotted the terrorist Jin Telegard, who is currently on the run from the authorities. Over the past six months, Jin has been on a rampage, causing large amounts of destruction, property damage, and death. Here in this video, you can see him willingly causing harm and distress to the people, brutally taking their lives. Please, viewer discretion is advised."
"Stop where you are and put your hands in the air! This is your last warning!" A voice bellowed from an aircraft that was following Jin. On the aircraft were multiple police officers, the best of the best, all of them prepared to take him down.
Jin turned around, stopping when the light from the aircraft landed on him. He looked different, slightly older, and worn out. His eyes lacked life, and there was nothing but an aura of death around him.
"GO! GO! GO!" Officers leaped out of the aircraft, landing around Jin with high-tech weapons and powerful abilities.
"Surrender! You're surrounded!"
"Don't make any sudden moves!"
"Surrounded, you say?" Jin smirked, pulling an officer toward him with mana and slicing off her head with ease.
"Attack!" Blaster fire and powers rained down on Jin, so much so that it would be difficult to defend against.
Jin, however, wasn't normal. He paused all of the attacks in mid-air, shocking everyone around him. He grabbed an energy bolt and shoved it into the chest of an officer. Then, he moved extremely fast, using the other frozen energy bolts and elemental powers to kill the remaining officers.
Once they were all dead, he hurled a lightning bolt at the aircraft, killing the pilot, and watched it crash into the ground.
He smiled once he finished handling the ants that dared to attack him, then ran off into the night.
High above in the sky, watching this event take place was Jin, the REAL Jin. He had no idea what was going on and wanted to check things out.
He remembered one day when he was relaxing at the safe house, Angela ran into the bathroom while he was showering, and shoved her phone in his face.
"Jin! Did you do this?!" She asked, panic set in her voice.
"Whoa! Jeez. Can I at least shower in peace?"
"Shut up and answer me!"
"Okay, okay, fine." Jin watched the video and was stunned. He saw himself causing chaos and destruction in multiple cities for no apparent reason, something that he would never do.
"What the hell is this?" He asked Angela
"That's what I'm trying to figure out!" She replied.
"I didn't do any of this. Check the date. That was last week on Monday. We were banging all day that day."
"Oh yeah, that is true." Angela forgot about that. "Wait! I'm not blaming you, by the way, I'm just very confused."
"So am I."
This continued for many more days in a row, greatly confusing not only Jin but everyone around them.
They knew something was up when they were all watching TV, and live footage of Jin causing destruction aired.
Everyone turned to him, then back at the TV, then back at him.
"Clearly that's not me, you bastards!"
"Well, it looks like you." Oculia pointed out.
"No way! Really? I thought it looked like you." Jin rolled his eyes
"Pfft. You might need to get those eyes checked because you look nothing like me."
Jin didn't even respond. "I'm going to go check it out."
"Want me to come?" Brittany asked
"Nah, it's fine."
And now, Jin was checking out the fake version of himself. It even had the same speech patterns he did.
"Was I cloned?" He wondered.
After the fake Jin fled, the real Jin appeared in front of him, stopping his path.
"Who are you?" Jin asked
"I'm you." Fake Jin answered.
"No, you're not. Do you know it's a crime to steal a face as handsome as mine? Do you want to die?"
Fake Jin laughed. "Do you think you can kill me?"
Jin smirked. "You may look, sound, and act like me, but you're NOT me." He appeared in front of the clone, striking its chest with his palm.
Fake Jin flew back far, blood coming out of its mouth. He didn't even see Jin attack him, but that didn't matter because he was attacked once again before he could react.
Jin tossed the clone around like a toy, kicking it into a large rock on the outskirts of the city, slamming its face into the ground, and dragging the clone until he got bored and lifted it up in the air to crack its chest open with a punch.
When the clone crashed into the ground, it was breathing heavily, barely able to get up.
"Heh. Weak bastard daring to pose as me. I'll fucking kill me!" Jin grabbed the clone by the neck and lifted it up.
"H-Heh, bastard!" The clone smiled
"What's so funny?"
"I've collected more data. Madam Eve will now have more information to work with."
"Madam Eve? Jess, scan the body."
[Scanning...Alright, I'm done.]
Jin nodded. "Tell me, clone, do you feel fear?"
"I'm not programmed to feel such a useless emotion."
"Oh, but fear is anything but useless. It makes us know when to retreat, keeps us alive, and makes us strive to get stronger. For you to not feel fear means that you're flawed." Jin released power, not holding anything back.
It was so intense that even the world begged him to calm down.
"So tell me now, clone, do you feel fear?"
The clone started to panic, trying to break free from Jin's grasp, but it wasn't strong enough.
"You're coming with me. I'll dissect you and see what makes you tick."
"Like hell I am!" The clone bloated in size, then blew up.
The explosion was enough to cause a good bit of destruction, but Jin was unharmed.
"Fucking loser. I wouldn't blow myself up like that."
[You shot yourself in the head to kill the Láspi.]
"That was different!"
[Is it?]
"Yes, it is!"
