"Hmm. This doesn't look like a factory." Jessa noticed.
"Yeah, no shit. We're in a fucking clothing store."
When Jin and Jessa entered the building, they came through the back, so they didn't see the front of the building. To their shock, the building wasn't a factory, but a clothing store. They both had to quickly put on disguises so they wouldn't get picked up by the security system.
"Excuse me?" Jessa pulled Jin's ear.
"Ow, Ow! Sorry, it's just a habit of mine. I hang out with Angela too much."
"Oh, your first wife."
"What?! She's not my first wife!"
"So she's your second wife then. You know, son, I didn't expect you to be into having a reverse harem. I know girls dream of having harems, but a guy wanting one, let alone having one, is pretty...cool, if I'm being honest. Your father would freak out, heh."
"Mom! No one is my wife, okay! Where did you even get this idea from?!"
"What do you mean? You know the walls in the old place were thin, right?"
Jin didn't even wish to continue the conversation anymore. Knowing that his mother heard him having sex was like watching someone make a fool of themself in front of a large crowd. The embarrassment was too much.
"Jess, scan the building. Look for any secret rooms or underground areas."
[Scanning.]
"I still find it so sweet that you named your computer after me. You must have really missed your mother, huh?" Jessa gave Jin a kiss on the cheek.
"Mom, don't refer to yourself in the third person."
"Why? Did mother do something wrong? If so, tell mother what happened so mother can correct her actions."
"Ugh."
[Found something. The door on the opposite side of the building, to the far right, leads to a stairwell that leads to an underground area. It's not listed on the plans for this building either, so it's a secret area.]
"Sweet. Good work. Mom, follow me, and don't be weird, please."
"Mother understands."
"God dammit!"
Jin and Jessa walked through the store without drawing any attention to themselves. There were many people shopping in the store, parents with their children, grandparents with their grandchildren, aunts and uncles with their nieces and nephews, and so on.
Jessa got distracted by the sight and became a bit down. The last time she saw her son was when he was 10 years old, and seeing him again as a 19-year-old was too much to take in for the first time.
She missed out on his entire childhood, missed out on bonding with him, growing with him, and seeing him become the amazing man he is now.
"J-Jin. Once this is over, do you want to hang out? You know, go out with me?"
Jin paused, giving his mother a weird look. "Mom, you're pretty and all, but I'm not into incest."
It was safe to say that Jin was thrown into the wall, but he made a sound barrier that prevented others from hearing the commotion.
"Chill! Chill! I'm sorry, it was a joke! Jeez! You remind me of Angela."
"Heh, I remind you of your wife."
"She's not...Sigh, whatever. And yeah, I'm down to hang out. But do NOT choose bowling. I swear if you choose bowling, I will haunt you for the rest of your life!"
She raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with bowling?"
Jin's eye twitched. "Everything."
They went through the door, then walked down the stairs that led to what looked to be a storage room, judging by the boxes and store equipment that were all over the place.
"Jess, this doesn't look like a hidden area."
[To your left. Touch the wall.]
Jin walked over to the left wall, touched it, and nothing happened. Then, he saw what she was talking about. It was a false wall.
"Mom, hold my hand."
"Why?"
"I'm going to phase us through this wall."
"Pfft, I can do that on my own."
"Really?"
"Yeah, they call me the Fla—Ahem. They call me the Fla—Hmm, for some reason, I can't say that name."
"Copyright maybe."
"That seems like the case. Anyway, I can phase through objects because—"
"You vibrate your molecules, yes, I know the science around it."
"Heh, you're like your father."
"Being smart?"
"No, being a nerd."
"I'll take the compliment."
"Pwahaha! He would say the same thing!"
Jin and Jessa phased through the wall, and when they finally found the facility where Jin was being cloned, it was abandoned.
"Surprised?" A voice rang out over an intercom.
"Eve!" Jin's expression darkened, and he became angry.
"Did you seriously think that I would allow you to break my spell so easily? I knew that you would try and peek into that clone's mind, so I placed false memories into its mind. Oh, and when you entered this building, I already alerted the authorities."
"What is your goal? What do you want?"
"You'll find out about that soon, real soon, but for now, keep running in circles to find out who I am."
"I'll kill you once I learn who you are."
"Nothing new, you've already done that before."
Jin raised an eyebrow. Her words hit him like a truck. If he had already killed her before, then that means she reincarnated like him and kept her memories.
"What? Did my words shock you, Viron?"
"Don't call me that!"
"What? Why can't I call you that, Viron of Spardia, the worst fucking hero who ever existed!"
Jin's eyes were now red with anger at this point, but he didn't lose his cool.
"My bad. This is my fault. I'm letting my emotions. I apologize. Hmm? What's this? Is the news talking about you again? Oh man, you might want to see this, Jin. It seems that in my fit of rage, I did something very...stupid. Hehehahahaha!"
Eve's voice disappeared, and a screen appeared in front of Jin and Jessa.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Jin couldn't believe that she would do such a thing.
"Jin Telegard Jr, the only man in the world born with powers." Jessa read. There was a picture of him as well as information about his DNA that proved he was born with powers.
And now, the whole world knew about it.
"Capture Jin Telegard Jr dead or alive, 100 billion dollars."
