"Angela! Angela! Wake up!" Jin was able to shield them both from the blast, but they were still affected by the shockwave and were sent crashing into buildings.

He heard many people dying around him, but he didn't have the time to worry about them.

"Nngh, J-Jin?" She could barely think, and her head was throbbing like crazy.

"Hold on!" Green light shone from his hands as he started healing Angela. Her wounds were mended, but the strain and soreness were still there.

"W-What happened?"

"The Sons of Adam. Just hold on, I've already called for help. Let's just hope they arrive on time."

When Angela managed to sit up, she could feel herself falling. She didn't understand why until she saw the clouds zoom past, getting higher in the sky.

"J-Jin! We're falling!" She panicked

"Yes, I know. Just sit tight, I'm going to go help other people." He flew upward and looked around to find people in need.

Jin flew around giving people first aid, freeing them from debris, catching them from falling off the island, and helping find missing people. But even then, there was a lot more where that came from.

"Fuck, the institute!" Jin took off toward the institute, seeing the building split in half with many students crying for their lives.

Thankfully, first responders were there giving aid alongside the few Aegis Corp members who could make it. Unfortunately, this didn't stop many students from losing their lives.

He looked around to find Addison, but wasn't able to see where she was.

"Help! Help me! Please! I'm scared!"

Jin saw a student dangling off the edge, slipping little by little. He quickly flew toward him and saved him from falling.

"T-Thank you!"

"Yeah."

'Addison! Where are you?!' Jin used his mana to sense where she was and spotted her holding up tons of debris from falling on students.

She was losing strength by the second and was extremely winded.

"Addison! Don't worry, I'm coming!" Flying over to her, he lifted all of the debris off of her with his power, allowing her to rest and freeing the other students.

Addison's eyes lit up when she saw who gave her help. "Jin!"

The two hugged tightly, glad to see that they both were okay.

"What happened? The sky suddenly became bright, and then the island just blew up!"

Jin explained everything, leaving no details behind.

"They're insane! W-Wait! My family! Jin, please help me find them!"

"I will. Do you want to check out your house first?"

"Yes. Come on!"

Thankfully, Addison's house was on the side of the island where the destruction was kept to a minimum. Still, this didn't mean that they were out of danger.

The ground was still unstable, and houses around the area were collapsing.

"Dad! Dinny! Danny! Answer me!" Addison shouted.

"Addie! Down here!" Alicia shouted.

Addison rushed to where she heard her sister's voice, finding them in the house's bunker. When she opened the bunker doors, she saw both of her sisters holding up a large piece of the island from beneath the house while flying, preventing it from falling.

Addison was so happy to see that her entire family was alive. "Alicia! Alison!"

"Hurry! Get the three of them to safety!" Alicia shouted.

"We can't hold this for long!" Alison was struggling to hold up the large piece of land and was losing strength by the second.

Suddenly, the ground around them started cracking.

"Jin, the ground is unstable! We need to help them fast!"

He nodded. "Dinny, Danny, mister Don, I'm going to levitate you. Don't panic, okay?"

The three men nodded.

Jin started levitating the men, then he started flying as well. Addison joined in, and finally, her sisters were able to stop holding up the large piece of land.

"We need to find your mother!" Don was worried about his wife.

"I can take you there, but I won't be staying." Jin offered.

"Sounds like a plan, let's go."

All of them flew toward the family company, which was in a good spot, and saw Adeline giving out orders to everyone. When she saw her family, she instantly ran over to them.

"Oh! Thank the goddess you all are alright! Come here!" Adeline gave all of them a hug, crying tears of joy.

"I have to go."

"Jin, wait!"

Addison kissed Jin on the lips before he left. "T-Thank you for helping me save my family."

Jin smiled, nodding, then flew away.

"Jin, you're back!" Angela hugged Jin tightly, missing his presence.

"Anything happened while I was gone?"

"An officer named Yuria came to check on me. She thought I was in danger, but I told her that I was fine."

"Yuria survived? That's good to know."

Suddenly, the island started crumbling into smaller pieces as it picked up speed and was on course to plummet into the ocean.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! We need to slow this island down! If we don't, we're all dead!"

"Why? We're over the ocean, right? This is the best outcome."

"Angela. From how high we were and from how fast we were going, we will get lucky if the island simply sinks into the water." Jin ran away and jumped off the edge of the island and flew below it.

It seemed like other people had the same idea as him to slow down the island's fall.

He placed his hand on the bottom of the island and set his rocket boots to max.

"Computer, put everything we have into the thrusters!"

[Converting all power to thrusters.]

Jin's rocket boots produced more energy, calf jets opened on his suit, alongside back jets and a jet pack.

He helped the many people who were with him slow down the fall of the island, but it was too much for them.

More and more people joined in, even Addison and her family, but nothing changed.

Everyone wondered where Mrs Horton was, but even when she was directly called on her private communication line, she didn't answer.

"Everyone! Push! Give it all you got!" Adeline shouted.

The sounds of groans and strain were the only thing that could be heard, and even then, they're efforts were in vain.

While they did manage to slow down the Island, especially with Adeline's help, they weren't able to slow it down in time, and the ocean approached them quickly.

"EVERYONE BRACE FOR IMPACT!"

'Dammit!' Jin focused all of his suit's power on defense, crashing into the water alongside everyone else, and the island crumbled into many pieces, generating massive amounts of energy that created tsunamis.
