"Nngh." Jin opened his eyes, feeling his body completely submerged under water. His helmet was cracked, but his mana instinctively prevented water from entering his lungs, also allowing him to breathe underwater.

"Status report," Jin called out to his computer, his voice laced with strain.

[Broken leg, fractured ribs, strained wrist, and you have a concussion. All injuries are currently being mended by the healing stem being injected into your body.]

"I'm not being healed quickly enough." As he accelerated the healing process of his body with mana, Jin looked around to see the current situation. His helmet quickly mended itself, and Jin's HUD reappeared.

The many people who were trying to prevent the island from crashing into the ocean were all either knocked out, injured, or died on impact.

Adeline and her daughters were slightly hurt, but they were getting people to the surface as quickly as they could.

Seeing this, Jin joined in as well, helping them carry people to safety.

"Jin! Get him!" Alicia pointed to a man who was sinking into the ocean, already holding two people in her arms. Because of her power, she was able to prevent water from touching her body by creating a small barrier of energy, like a second layer of skin.

Jin dove into the water, swiftly grabbing the man's arm and quickly swam back to the surface. While swimming, he saw something big and fast swim by him. It was sudden, so he wasn't able to catch what it looked like, but he already knew it was bad news.

"Ms Adeline! We need to get out of the ocean asap! I think we've drawn the attention of monsters!" Jin shouted as he brought the man on his shoulder to safety.

"I'll check it out. Alicia, Alison, protect these people. Addison, help in any form you can. I've already called the Aegis corps, the military, and search and rescue. We just need to sit tight until they arrive. I'll see if there are monsters lurking around us." Adeline lept back into the ocean.

"Jin!" Angela rushed over to him, hugging him tightly. "Are you okay? Come on, tell me you're okay."

"I'm fine, just a bit out of it, that's all. I'm healing."

Addison flew over to them and also gave Jin a hug. "I'm glad you're fine."

"Thanks, me—" Because of the situation, Jin's senses were on high alert, and he was prepared to handle any situation that came his way. Because of this, he was quickly able to react to a shark nearly chomping off Addison's head and managed to blast it away, killing it in one blow.

"What the hell? What happened?" Addison didn't even realize her head was about to be eaten.

Jin sensed the water and scrunched his face. "Dammit! We're surrounded by shark monsters. Many of them."

Just then, something massive jumped out of the water, sending a large wave that crashed into what remained of Olympus. A large shadow darkened the ground, and a huge creature blocked out the sun.

Angela's eyes widened so much that she thought they would fall out. "I-Is that..."

"A lightning megalodon. A deviant." Jin's eyes widened as well. He had never seen one before, and seeing it up close really tested his sense of scale, even though he was used to this feeling already.

Caught in the massive shark's mouth was Adeline's arm as she tried to break free. Her arm pulsed with so much energy that Jin could feel the heat she generated, but the megalodon started crackling with massive amounts of electricity, so much that if it wasn't for Adeline's power, she would have been fried until nothing but dust remained.

"EVERYBODY BACK AWAY FROM THE WATER!" Jin pulled Addison and Angela away as the shark landed back in the ocean, sending electrically charged water everywhere.

Some people were unfortunate and got touched by the charged water, but most managed to duck to safety.

"Fucking hell!" Jin took off.

"Where are you going!? Take me with you!" Angela followed

"No, stay here. I'm going to kill those sharks to get them off Mrs Adeline's back. Angela, you and Addison help protect these people. And be careful, the Sons of Adam could still be here." Jin dove into the water.

Instantly, sharks started swimming toward him, their ability to manipulate water making them accelerate faster than normal.

"Activate sonic cannons!"

[All weaponry switched to sonic attacks.]

"Let's kick their fins!" Jin swam toward the first shark and formed a blade of pure vibrational frequencies that tore through the shark, cutting it to pieces.

Another shark came at him with its jaws open, showing its many rows of teeth.

He stuck out his hand and shot multiple soundwaves into the shark's mouth, blowing it up from the inside.

Another shark zoomed past him, but Jin moved out of the way, attaching a sound grenade to the sea creature and didn't even look at the explosion behind him.

The other sharks, seeing Jin as a massive threat, started swimming around him extremely fast, creating a whirlpool that started to restrain his movements.

"Man, what I'd give to have my old body back. My fishman biology would come in handy right now!" Jin rubbed his hands together, then started bivrating them extremely fast. He waited for the right moment to strike before releasing his attack.

Still swimming around him, the sharks were making sure they would be able to kill Jin, and when it looked like he wasn't moving anymore, all of them struck at once.

"Boom!" Jin clapped his hands, and a supersonic sound wave completely evaporated the sharks around him, leaving nothing but their blood and guts behind.

"Good, now that's every shark taken care of. Hopefully, the blood doesn't attract more. Time to go help—"

Jin saw Adeline...fly...swim...move past him really fast, as if she was knocked away.

"Mrs Adeline?" Jin swam over to her, grabbing her arm so she could stop moving.

"Bad day?" He asked her.

"Watch out!" She quickly pushed Jin out of the way and prevented the shark from chomping down on her body.

"What the..." Jin took a closer look at the shark and was stunned. "It's absorbing her energy?"
