"J-Jin! T-That's..." Angela didn't even know how to feel. She was shocked, but she was also scared. A woman's abilities were a part of who they were, their identity, their DNA. Sure, it could be suppressed, but being taken away was our right evil.

"I know. It's inhumane." Truthfully, Jin didn't care if women lost their powers, as long as it was done to criminals or anyone who used it for selfish reasons that would put others in danger.

"As you all have witnessed, this device was able to take the powers away from this woman, permanently. It didn't just strip her of the gene that gave her flame powers; it stripped her of the gene that gave her powers as a whole!"

The crowd cheered even harder and louder.

"This golden light you see here, it is their power manifested into pure energy. We can use this energy for other things, such as electrical power, or even as a power source for powersuits."

'This is it! This is what they plan on using the DNA splicer for! They're stripping away women's powers to use as energy sources!' Jin was so happy that he was recording this event.

"Now, let's strip the others of their abilities!" One by one, the women on the stage lost their powers, becoming nothing but normal humans.

"Tell me, how do you plan on fighting me without your precious abilities?" The Speaker kicked one of the women in the face, drawing blood, something that normally wouldn't have happened.

"Y-You! You'll pay for this! I-I'll make sure to kill you!"

"Hahahaha!" Pulling out a gun, the Speaker aimed it at the woman's head. "No, you wont." An energy bullet tore cleanly through her head, killing her instantly.

He fired three more energy rounds, killing the other three women as well.

"I'm sorry you all had to witness that, my precious family. But please know that this, this right here, is for you, for us! This is our future. And speaking of our future, let me show you what we have planned."

A screen appeared on the wall behind the speaker, showing a concept video of what they have planned for the future of the world.

"Are you tired of being oppressed? Tired of feeling powerless? Then look no further than the Sons of Adam. Here, we are a family, one strong unit that strives for a better tomorrow. Whether you are a man or a woman, you are all welcome here." The video said.

"Being a man in this world can be challenging, but we plan on making that change. Soon, we'll be introducing cybernetic implants that will allow a man to have powers like a woman. Super strength? Check! The ability to fly through the skies? Absolutely? Or maybe you want X-Ray vision to...cheat on a test? Well, look no further than this. The future is at the Sons of Adam." The video ended.

The crowd cheered, not only agreeing with the message but wishing it could be a reality right now. They held on to each other, crying, hugging, and feeling heard for once.

"I call this Project the Oasis Mending Experiment to Gain Affection."

"That's a stupid name." Angela chuckled

"A name that is garnering support and, well, affection," Jin replied

"I want to thank you all for coming here to this event, showing that you support our future. Now, this is the end. I love you all, my brothers and sisters. Please be well." The speaker waved to the crowd, bowed, then walked off into the back.

"Alright, let's leave now."

"Their powers were taken from them permanently? T-That's...I don't even know how to feel about that. All I know is that it makes me feel horrible." Addison had to sit down for that. She knew the Sons of Adam were crazy, and she even heard from that scientist that he took the powers of his mother, but hearing Angela expierence it, she was in shock.

"Yeah, it was pretty intense. I felt chills when I watched the event. It was chilling. I was cold. I was frozen."

"I get it, Angie, stop with the cold jokes."

"Heh, my bad."

"Hey, Jin, did you find anything scrubbing through the footage?" Addison asked, walking over to him and leaning over his shoulder. Her boobs rested on Jin's shoulders as she looked at what Jin was doing.

"No. I have the shit muted the entire time!"

"Pwahahaha! Are you serious?!" It was rare for Jin to make a mistake like that, so when he did, Angela would never let it go.

"No, I'm kidding. The event itself was very good when it came to understanding their real motive and how they plan on going about things. But it's this right here that I really want to learn more about."

Jin played the clip.

"This project shall be known as the Oasis Mending Experiment to Gain Affection."

"What's so special about that?" Angela asked

"The first letters of each word spell OMEGA," Jin explained

Addison's eyes widened. "As in Project Omega?"

"Yeah, as in Project Omega. So now we're closer to learning the truth about what that project entails. Cybernetic enhancements to level the playing field between the powerful and powerless."

"Jin, you have to give this to the Aegis Corps. This isn't information to be hanging on to!" Addison urged Jin to turn in this information because this was something that could alter the lives of everyone in the country, no, the world.

"Yeah, I plan on doing that right after I make copies, which should be done about...now."
