Thrusted into a world ruled by women

Chapter 73: Stolen Schematics

Jin quickly rushed over to the main, disarming him with ease, and dropping him to the floor, holding the man's arm behind his back.

"Why would you kill your own fellow scientist, you sick fuck?!" The head of security held her rifle at the man's head, angered that he would do such a thing.

"Haha! Fuck you! You think you're better than us because you have powers? You're nothing more than a fucking abuser!" The man hissed with anger

"Says the dumbass who killed someone, a man, in cold blood. Hypocrite. This guy is clearly working for the Sons of Adam. We'll take him into Aegis Corps custody so we can get more out of him."

Jin searched for the bomb that was normally planted inside their members, finding it, then disarmed it.

'I should start checking for these bombs when I'm looking for the Sons of Adam.' Jin cuffed the man and then handed him to Addison.

Instead of being angry that he was caught, the man just started laughing. "FINISH IT, MY BROTHER!"

Jin turned around to see a man click something on his computer. He quickly rushed over to him, restrained him, and checked for his bomb as well.

"What?" There was nothing there. No bomb, no nothing at all. Still, that wasn't what he needed to worry about.

Three more people clicked something on their computers, and Jin restrained them all. After that, he went over to the central computer to see what they were doing.

"Jin, do you know what happened?" Addison held her hand over the five men, her hand pulsing with intense heat and energy.

"I'm finding out right now." He plugged into the system and did a whole system sweep to see what happened. Normally, he would have to pass through firewalls and other shit, but surprisingly, the all-access pass he got from Carlnitus was literally all access.

"Alright!" Jin was in the system.

BEEP BEEP

"Fuck. Of course, the all-access pass doesn't allow me to access this information. Oh well, time to break through their cyber security."

The man couldn't help but laugh. "Haha! You're just wasting your time! Do you think that a genius such as Carlnitus would have security that could be broken through easily? Not even Technopaths can break through his security!"

"Done."

"W-What the heck? H-How?"

"An idiot like you wouldn't understand." Jin found the information that was contained in the files that were moved to a different location.

"Fuck! They weren't after the endoskeleton in the first place! They were after its schematics!" Jin quickly started doing his best to cancel the transfer of the files, but it was too late. They had already been sent when the man killed the other scientist.

"Dammit!"

"Jin, did we fail?" Addison was slightly worried. Ever since learning what the Sons of Adam had instored for the world. She was eager to stop them a soon as possible, so failing wasn't an option. She wanted to keep her powers.

"No. Not yet. I can still trace where the files are being sent to." His fingers moved like snakes trying to lung at each other with how fast he was typing on the holographic keyboard.

The receiver had some kind of scrambler that made it nearly impossible to track where they were, or at least get a ping on their area. But this was Jin, and impossible was his middle name.

And he was also a cheater.

Every time Jin typed, technology lines would appear on the keyboard that extended into the computer. With every key pressed, Jin descrambled the scrambler, and it allowed him to ping their location.

'I love techno-magic!'

"Found their location!" Jin immediately rang up Oculia. "Aunty! I need you to find a building with a long, old-school radio antenna on it."

"Jin? Okay, I'm looking. Found it. Where is your current location?"

"I'm inside Carlnitus Industries."

"The building is south of the entrance. Is something wrong?"

"Yes, send a team there right now! That's where the culprits are!"

"On it!"

Jin turned to his companion. "Addison!"

She wasted no time and flew over to Jin, grabbing his hand.

He flew through the building using space displacement, hoping Addison would be okay and not puke between floors. When they were finally out, he looked south, found the building, then rocketed to the location.

"Get hot! He shouted.

"Got it. Flame on!" Addison's body turned to pure energy and was so hot that the temperature in the area started to rise.

Jin added his own mana to Addison's power, increasing her strength temporarily, and then, after spinning around, he threw her with all his might.

The moment she left his hands, she broke the sound barrier and rocketed off to the building. It was an older building, one that was barely used, but the city hadn't demoed it yet.

Fortunately for them, Jin would do that job for them free of charge.

Addison crashed into the building, completely destroying it with a small and controlled explosion.

"Alright, bitches, surrender and nobody gets hurt, unless you want to." Addison, still in her pure energy form, held out her hands to blast someone if they acted up, but surprisingly, no one was there.

"Uhh, Jin, we have a problem."

He landed right next to her, moving all the debris out of the way and scanning the surroundings.

"Dammit! They're gone."

"But how? Hey, didn't even know we were coming. Was the signal meant to mislead us?"

Jin squinted his eyes and kneeled down to touch the ground.

"Of course." He growled. "That bitch with the portals was here. I can feel the space being distorted right here."

"Can you track it?" Addison asked

"I can. But it seems like she learned from our previous encounters and created multiple portals just to throw me off. Smart girl."

"What if you use your...you know." Addison acted like she had a wand in her hand and cast a spell.

"Pwaha! Yeah, that's what I'm using, sweetcheeks. Well, that and my tech. But I usually combine them together. More efficient, surprisingly. Only if the tech can keep up with how complicated magic is, and since I'm the one who created my own tech, it can."

Addison didn't hear anything Jin had said except for one word. "Sweetcheeks?"

"Jin!" Oculia and her team made it to the location. "Did you get them?"

"Unfortunately, I did not. We failed this time."
