"Jin!" Brittany pushed her mother to the side and hugged her best friend, happy to see that he was okay. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

"Thanks. I'm glad that you're okay as well. Are you two okay?" He asked Anyssa and Oculia

"Yeah, we're fine," Oculia responded. "Though those two were worried about you. Anyssa nearly had my head for leaving you behind, haha."

"It's true. And you're lucky Jin is okay, or I would have had a new trophy to show off."

"Heh, you're joking...you're joking, right?"

Anyssa didn't respond and went to hug Jin as well.

"What happened to the two who were after you?" Anyssa asked

"Dead." Jin had no reason to keep the truth from them. Besides, they had just seen him murder a woman in front of them.

"Not surprised." Oculia chuckled

"You killed them? Jin, are you okay? D-Did it hurt to take their life?" Working for the Aegis Corps meant that you would eventually take at least one life in your entire career. Brittany remembered how messed up she was when she took her first life, so she didn't want Jin to feel the same.

"I'm fine. This isn't anything new to me." At this moment, after placing a barrier around all of them, Jin told them everything. He trusted these people with his life, and they were his family. If he couldn't trust them, then what was the point of family?

It was safe to say that they were extremely shocked. Oculia still didn't buy Jin's story about magic and being reincarnated into different worlds, nor did Anyssa and Brittany. But his use of powers was evident, and they simply saw him as an anomaly.

Jin didn't care what they believed. He wasn't about to explain every single detail of his previous life to them, so if they thought that he was an anomaly, he wouldn't correct them.

Sighing, Jin told her everything as well.

"Bullshit. The guy just wants legal slaves. As for Carlnitus, he was probably blinded by funding or something. I'll throw my research in his face and he'll jump at it like a dog."

"That's not nice, Jin." Addison was also watching with him, and she agreed with what he said, minus the dog part.

"Well, it's the truth. And when is Mrs Horton coming back?" It had already been three days since the incident with the inmates, and since then, Jin had been living in the apartment with Angela and Addison again.

They had their own rooms this time, though.

"I have no idea."

BEEP BEEP

"Hmm?" Pulling out his phone, Jin saw that he was getting a call from Roby. He answered and put him on speaker.

"J-Jin? Jin! Thank the g-goddess you answered!"

"Yo, Roby, what's good? Are you okay? You sound out of breath."

"Huh? O-Oh, y-yeah. I'm good. I'm just—"

"Babe, get back here already. I'm tryna gobble that dick up." A woman spoke from the same place Roby was.

"J-Just a second. I'm on the phone." Roby replied

"Dude, are you having sex right now?" Jin knew Roby was able to get around, but he wasn't expecting a call from him while he was getting laid.

"I-It's complicated."

"Roby, who are you on the phone with?" The woman asked, grabbing the phone out of his hands.

"W-Wait!"

"Who is this? Are you some bastard who wants to sleep with my Roby?"

"No. I'm Jin. And I'm assuming you're Sandra from the sound of your voice." He responded.

"Jin? Hey man! How's it going? I hope everything's well with you. Roby and I are currently working out at the moment. Heh, he's having a difficult time keeping up."

"Sure." Jin knew better.

"Anyway, nice talking to you. Here you go, Roby. I'll be in the bathroom. Don't keep me waiting long."

"S-Sure."

Jin couldn't help but laugh his ass off. "Sounds like you're having fun, bro."

"Jin, you gotta help me. I like Sandra, don't get me wrong, but man, she's too much! We've been having sex for the past three hours straight! I'm out of energy! I can't even nut anymore. I'm shooting blanks, my man!"

"First of all, I didn't need to know that; second, just say you gotta go somewhere or something."

On the other end of the line, it sounded like Roby growled while grabbing his hair from frustration.

"You don't think I tried that? I do actually have somewhere to be, but she's holding me hostage until I have to leave. I can't go for another round, man. I don't have that kind of libido. You understand me, right?"

Honestly, Jin couldn't. "Nah, I can go on for long periods of time. Angela and I had sex for a whole night one time."

"What kind of godly stamina do you have?!"

"I'm just built different. But don't worry, bro, I'll head over there and get you out."

The happiness in Roby's voice rang through the phone. "Thank you! You're the best, Jin! I'll see you soon, then!" He hung up.

"So, are you going to go help him right now?" Addison asked

"Nah. He'll be alright. I'll take my time."

"By the way, who's Sandra?"

Jin felt a shiver down his spine when he looked into the cold eyes of Addison.
