Awakening: Reincarnating With the SSS-Level Infinite Evolution Talent

Chapter 32: Boss Combo All My Skills Are Legendary-Rank!

Ding!

[Congratulations, you have leveled up to Level 17!]

[You have gained 5 points in all of your attributes, and 5 free points to distribute.]

---

It only took a few minutes of straight grinding before Karl finally saw the notification flash across his panel.

He had moved through the halls of the [Second Floor] without slowing down once, killing anything that stepped in front of him, and the result was exactly what he wanted.

Leveling up here wasn't complicated.

The monsters were strong enough to give good experience but still weak enough that they couldn't threaten him at all.

As long as he didn't run into a level 25 boss head-on, then there was absolutely nothing on this floor that could cause him a real issue.

And of course, in addition to the experience…

[You have gained 15 Evolution Points!]

[You have gained 289 Lives!]

Karl had defeated two bosses in the last stretch of the floor, and because of that, his EP and Lives shot up again.

He was extremely satisfied with how smoothly everything was going.

If anything, the only downside was the fact that it would eventually start taking longer if he didn't advance soon.

[Experience Decay] was something he always needed to keep in mind, and each level required more and more experience to climb.

He couldn't afford to stay stuck too long.

[Level: 17 (17,200/90,000)]

The monsters of the second floor ranged from level 15 to 20.

For now, that was perfect.

Karl could farm them easily without slowing down at all, and he used this opportunity to clear everything he saw.

He stepped forward again, moving deeper through the maze-like halls, meeting and killing every monster that appeared in front of him.

He moved fast, never stopping longer than necessary, until… he arrived at the final chamber.

Fwish!

Right inside the chamber, Karl immediately saw the problem.

The floor's last room didn't have one boss blocking the way forward. It had two.

Two bosses were standing right in front of the gate leading to the [Third Floor].

"Watch out for its sword!"

"Damn it, the second one is strong!"

"Fall back!"

Karl heard a group of players shouting as they fought in front of him.

One of them nearly got hit as the bosses attacked again.

The two monsters were the [Moon Knight General, —a heavily armored warrior wielding a silver blade, and beside it was a boss Karl had already seen before: the [Moon Shaman].

---

[Moon Knight General (Level 20)]

[Rank: Rare (Boss)]

[HP: 120,000]

---

[Moon Shaman (Level 20)]

[Rank: Elite (Boss)]

[HP: 70,000/130,000]1

---

'A fight-and-support combo,' Karl thought as he examined the two bosses, 'Interesting.'

The Moon Shaman had its scepter raised the entire time, channeling constant buffs into the Moon Knight General.

The knight, in turn, defended the shaman whenever possible while simultaneously attacking the players in range.

Karl noticed multiple teams teaming up on these two bosses to take them down, and even then, they were having trouble.

It was clear that they were struggling.

Slash!

The Moon Knight General slammed its blade down against the tank's shield, pushing him backward with raw force.

"Come on!" the tank shouted, "Kill the shaman and it'll be over!"

Karl saw what they were trying to do.

Their strategy was correct.

The shaman was already slightly above half HP because they had been focusing their attacks on it first.

If they killed the support, the knight would be a lot easier to finish.

But even if their logic was sound… they simply weren't strong enough.

Fireball!

The Moon Shaman launched a blazing fireball toward them, forcing all of them to move back at once.

That one attack was enough to break their formation, and the Moon Knight General immediately swung again, hitting the tank's shield and almost knocking him over.

He didn't die yet, but Karl could tell that one or two more hits would finish the man off.

Karl watched silently for a moment before opening his panel.

[Current Evolution Points: 33.]

'Damn.'

His Evolution Points were stacking up nicely.

If this pace continued, then with every new boss giving more EP than the last, he could already see a path to getting as many as he needed.

But for now, he had enough to evolve something.

[Do you wish to consume 10 Evolution Points to evolve "Powerful Magic Barrier"?]

"Yes."

Ding!

[You have evolved "Powerful Magic Barrier" (Epic) to "Invincible Magic Barrier" (Legendary)]

[Current Evolution Points: 23.]

This time, he didn't bother opening the panel right away.

He had another spell to evolve as well, and he wanted to look at both together.

[Do you wish to consume 10 Evolution Points to evolve "Moon Beam"?]

Karl confirmed.

Ding!

[You have evolved "Moon Beam" (Epic) to "Lunar Beam" (Legendary)]

[Current Evolution Points: 13.]

"Perfect."

Now he checked the new skill panels of both spells.

---

[Invincible Magic Barrier (Legendary): Summon a shield that can endure up to 10,000 → 20,000 HP. 30 (15)-seconds cooldown.]

---

[Lunar Beam (Legendary): Charge the beam for one second before launching it for 3 seconds toward an enemy, doing 1,000 → 2,000 damage per second. 60 → 50 (25)-seconds cooldown.]

---

"Damn."

Karl couldn't help it, he really was impressed.

His new barrier made him almost unkillable at this stage.

A 20,000-HP shield was something no monster here could break quickly.

And the Lunar Beam's power doubling meant that bosses would melt even faster.

Plus…

[Skills: Cataclysmic Fireball (Legendary), Invincible Magic Barrier (Legendary), Frostbite Crystals (Legendary), Storm of Lightning (Legendary), Lunar Beam (Legendary)]

'Every single one of my skills is legendary-rank,' Karl grinned, 'Good.'

He was more than satisfied, but the situation in front of him dragged his thoughts back.

The Moon Shaman had gone back to buffing the Moon Knight General.

'They won't win,' Karl thought, 'Perfect chance to test the new spell.'

His grin widened as he grabbed his staff tightly and then—

LUNAR BEAM!

He began charging the beam for one second.

And as soon as the power gathered—

BOOM!

A massive silver beam erupted forward without warning, firing straight at the Moon Shaman.

'The beam is bigger than before,' Karl noted, 'Good to know.'

It hit the Moon Shaman directly.

-30,000! -30,000! -30,000!

All of the nearby players froze in shock, their eyes snapping toward Karl at once.

Even the Moon Knight General turned and glared at him, its eyes glowing.

It immediately abandoned the players and ran toward Karl, swinging its sword down with full force.

But—

Invincible Magic Barrier!

Clang!

Its blade struck the barrier… and didn't even crack it.

Karl smiled widely.

Cataclysmic Fireball! Frostbite Crystals! Storm of Lightning!

Boom! Bam! Zap!

-44,450! -11,250! -11,250! -11,250! -35,640!

Every spell hit perfectly from this distance.

The combined attacks were enough to instantly reduce the Moon Knight General's health to zero.

Ding!

---

[You have killed "Moon Shaman (Level 20 Elite-Rank Boss)"]

[You have killed "Moon Knight General (Level 20 Rare-Rank Boss)"]

[You have gained 110,000 experience points.]

[Congratulations, you have leveled up to Level 18!]

[All your attributes have increased by 5, and you have gained 5 free points to distribute.]

[You have gained 21 Evolution Points!]

[You have gained 147 Lives!]

---

As soon as the two bosses died, the gate at the end of the chamber glowed before opening.

That meant all the nearby players could now ascend to the [Third Floor].

But Karl wasn't paying attention to them.

He noticed equipment on the ground.

And since he was the one who dealt the highest damage by far… the loot clearly belonged to him.

This is because other players damaged it
