Becoming the Wasteland Overlord With My Harem System!

Chapter 85: The Witch Queen Arrives!

As a team, Axel and everyone else moved toward the source of light. And as they did, they noticed it shone a few more times, signaling that there was more than one who had arrived.

When they approached close enough for the others to be visible, Axel gulped.

There, standing in formation, was a line of witches. They were dressed in uniform, wearing long robes that hid their figures. But the skirts had large slits up front, and the tops had windows revealing their bountiful chests.

It was a sight for sore eyes, but more than that...

"What intense killing intent..." Arianne grumbled, sweat rolling down her forehead.

Those women were the Elite Witches of Witcheria, acting as the Queen's personal guards. Their presence here meant only one thing.

"M-Mother...!"

Teruria gasped, seeing a familiar figure standing behind the line of witches. As soon as she noticed, she ran forward, like a child missing her parent after a day at school.

"Mother, I'm...!"

And just as she reached toward the Queen with arms stretched wide—

"ABAH!"

A fist came down on her head.

It was so powerful that Axel, a few dozen meters away, heard it loud and clear. Poor Teruria could only crouch on the ground, holding her aching head with bitter tears welling in her eyes.

"You foolish daughter of mine!" The Queen growled, elegant but furious.

"Do you know how much we were worried?! If you understand, then kneel and reflect on your rash actions!"

"B-But I'm fine, and I was careful..."

"We weren't worried about you, but the problems you might've caused!" The Queen roared, following up with another fist to Teruria's head.

"Uguh!"

She was literally cowering from pain, holding her head with a double bump.

After a moment of "lecture" to the little witch princess, the Queen finally turned toward Axel.

"I infer you must be Sir Hexel?" she asked. "I've heard about what my daughter did and all the troubles she's caused. I ask for your leniency, sir."

"That..."

Axel was about to deny the Queen's words, but quickly recalled the number of times they were hit by Teruria's "clumsiness." At the same time, he remembered the numerous times she had helped them greatly. Considering those contributions...

"It's plus-minus zero when we consider everything, so it's fine, Queen Hallbach," he said with a wry smile. "Please go easy on Ria."

"You..."

The Queen seemed to realize something and was about to comment, but quickly shook her head.

"No, I guess it's natural. You must've heard about the Witch's Kiss from my little troublemaking daughter, right?"

Axel pondered for a moment before nodding. "About the need to be married? Yes, I did."

"That's great."

The Queen nodded.

"But before discussing any further, let us introduce ourselves properly. I am the 692nd Witch Queen of the Witcheria Dimension, Queen Wisteria Hallbach, or WitchyGura in the Interdimensional Shop. It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Sir Hexel."

Seeing her extend a hand, Axel quickly grabbed it in a firm handshake, introducing himself.

"I'm Axel Walker, or Hexel as you know. The one bound to your daughter with a Witch's Kiss, and Consort of Princess Eve over here."

"Consort?" Queen Wisteria raised a brow as she turned to Eve, puzzled. "But I thought you were marrying my daughter? What does this mean?"

"A man, having multiple wives? Unforgivable!"

"Such a hooker of a man! We can't leave our princess to such a trashy human!"

"How dare you flirt with a bitch while having our cute little Princess...!"

At the same time, intense killing intent from the Queen's Elite Witches headed straight toward Axel. It was enough that he felt his heart stop for a moment out of shock and fear!

"You bitches!"

However, their words ticked Arianne off, causing her to flare up.

"How dare you call our liege a bitch? I'll cut off those blasphemous tongues of yours!" she shouted before drawing her sword.

Not only Arianne, but the rest of the Valkyrie Knight Order were enraged. Everyone drew their swords, preparing to fight. The Elite Witches also readied their staves and Voodoo Dolls, ready to attack at a moment's notice.

The air became tense and volatile.

One wrong step, and a deadly brawl could erupt!

"Enough!"

Axel and Wisteria shouted simultaneously.

Thankfully, the two leaders' words were effective, causing both sides to back off and calm slightly. However, the tense atmosphere remained. If the discussion continued, a spark might ignite a fight to the death instantly.

"...Talking while standing isn't good. How about we change venue?" Axel asked. "It seems we have a lot to discuss."

"True," Wisteria nodded. "Then, please lead the way, Sir Axel."

Hearing her assent, Axel shook his head. "No, we don't need to move."

He quickly operated the Housing Panel and selected a suitable building. One that cost him 1 billion flat as payment. It was pricey, but to maintain dignity and appearances, they needed a "grand" building to welcome their guests—it was a necessary expense.

With a wave of his hand, he placed the building projection a few tens of meters away, then clicked the auto-craft option. This allows instant crafting of the building, but at a cost—exactly 50% of the building's value!

Axel spent 1.5 billion just to make a large building in one go!

"T-This is...!"

"What witchcraft is this? Illusion?!"

"How can a building appear out of thin air?!"

The Elite Witches gasped in a mix of fear and awe. Their gaze toward Axel shifted from intimidation to wariness.

The Valkyrie Knight Order, instead, felt proud.

"Heh! Creating a building instantly is not difficult for Sir Axel!"

"Is this your first time seeing a building? Poor thing..."

"Long live Sir Axel! Long live Princess Eve!"

Ignoring everyone's voices, Queen Wisteria gazed at the building that had suddenly appeared.

It was a complex structure, with a maximum of four floors in some parts, and two in others. Two wings were attached to the main building, making it occupy a large area. The design, too, was modern and pleasing to look at.

Seeing her awed expression, Axel decided it was money well spent.

"This is a villa. It should be able to hold everyone inside," Axel explained, acting with hospitality. "Shall we continue our discussion inside, Queen Wisteria?"

The Queen smiled, silently admitting she was impressed by the display.

"Yes, we shall."

And she followed Axel without qualms.
