lust bound: The prostitute rank up system.

Chapter 113: 113: Attacked

He had never told the man his name. The app doesn't bring up his name after requesting.

" You should never mess with those people...."

Alaric tried to catch the man, but he slipped through his fingers. The man opened the door and jumped out.

A second later, something rammed the car from behind, pushing the car onto the clear road. He was lucky there wasn't oncoming traffic yet.

Alaric cursed inwardly and held onto the seatbelt.

The sound of glass shattering filled the air as the car skidded on the road.

Another Lorry appeared from the side and rammed it again, throwing the car off the road.

The fully totaled car rolled out of the road a few times before coming to a stop upside down.

" Fuck," Alaric cursed as he lay there upside down. The silver heart stud on his ear glowed faintly releasing an invisible barrier around him. It faded slowly the moment the rolling car came to a stop.

Thanks to the seat belt he had not moved that much. It felt more like a bad rollercoaster ride than anything. His hair had come undone during the commotion and he had experienced a few painful tags on his scalp.

He could hear people's screams and the distant sound of an oncoming siren.

Probably the police or an ambulance he thought, as he turned himself around and knelt on the car roof.

He tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge.

He kicked it strong enough that it came off its hinges and skidded across the pavement, almost hitting one of the oncoming people.

He crawled out of the car while avoiding the broken glass.

Everyone gasped the moment he got out, they had clearly expected a dead body or a seriously injured person.

The car was just close to folding in on itself, that was how extensive the damage had been.

" Damn, that was brutal," Alaric said, looking at the totaled car. At least he had been alone. He just hoped he didn't miss the flight.

Alaric stood up and looked down on his body to see if there was any injury he had missed, but there was nothing; he was clean.

He wiped the small pieces of glass stuck on his body before looking at his phone, which had miraculously survived without a single scratch. Seeing the time, he breathed a sigh of relief; he had almost an hour before noon.

" Are you okay, son?" a voice came from behind him.

Alaric turned around to see a middle-aged man looking up at him, concerned.

Alaric smiled.

" I'm fine sir," Alaric said politely.

" But, you should go to the hospital. This was really horrific. Who would do something like that to a young man like you

" Alaric understood what the man was getting at; he must have witnessed the whole accident.

Alaric didn't answer he walked to the back of the car where the destroyed boot of the car was.

He needed to get the suitcase out since it had all his documents. He just hoped it wasn't that destroyed or it had survived the crash unharmed just like him.

He didn't want to go through the hassle of buying an extra suitcase. And the one he was using was super expensive. It pained him to lose it since he had just bought it.

" Son, you should not be moving around. You might have internal injuries from the crash, " the man followed him clearly distressed.

" Thank you, sir, for your care, but I'm genuinely fine. The crash was nothing."

The man didn't seem to believe him.

Alaric tried to open the car boot slowly, but it wouldn't budge.

" Can you move back a little? I need to open this. I don't want you getting hurt," he said to the man standing next to him.

The man looked at him sceptically before stepping back. The group of people had increased and Alaric could hear the oncoming police cars from afar.

He knelt down and pulled the cover down hard ripping it off the car completely. Those around him gasped.

" It's an awakened," someone whispered.

" Why can't these people stop fighting among themselves and just hunt in the dungeons," another one said.

Alaric ignored all the whispers and pulled his suitcase out. It was large, and Alaric was delighted to find that it had not been damaged, not even a scratch. The online reviews were right.

He stood up and looked at his phone, ten minutes had passed since the accident.

" Thank you for your care. I'll be leaving now or I'll be late," Alaric said and pulled his suitcase with him.

The man could only nod. He still had not gotten over the fact that he had been trying to get an awakened to go to the hospital. He felt a bit stupid since no normal human would come out of that crash alive.

He wanted to take a taxi since it was too late to call a cab. He was still traumatized by the car crash. He wondered who wanted him dead.

The driver never identified himself, and there is no way an awakened would orchestrate such a stupid assassination, or maybe it was a warning.

He didn't know and he didn't care. The rats will come out of their holes someday, he just had to wait for the time to come.

He hurriedly crossed the road and went to stand at the bus stop to wait. He watched as the police started to talk to the people still gathered around the accident area.

He could already imagine what was being said. He didn't want the police to ask him for a statement since he needed to catch a flight and he was too late to entertain them.

A taxi came into view and Alaric stopped it. The moment it came to a stop, Alaric put his suitcase in the back seat and sat at the front.

" I'll pay extra just to drive," he could see the police coming towards his side, clearly having been painted as the victim of a horrific accident.

He looked back one last time before turning to the driver.

" Airport."

The man nodded before stepping on the gas.

They arrived at the airport ten minutes later and Alaric tipped him well before heading into the airport.

He walked inside and started to look around someone tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned around to see Sacrats smiling at him.

" You made it. I thought you were going to be late or not come at all," he said jokingly.

Alaric chuckled. He wouldn't miss this for the world.

" I got delayed by something but here I am ready to go."

Sacrats smiled and nodded.

" Come, let me take you to meet the people you will be going in with."

Alaric frowned and stopped.

" Aren't you going to come?"

Sacrat's eyes widened, then he shook his head.

" No, I'm more of a mediator here."

Alaric hesitated for a second before shrugging his shoulders. He could adapt. Although he felt tricked he really wanted to go to the dungeon.

After a few turns, they arrived in front of a brown door with VIP written on the door. Sacrat pushed open the door and stepped inside.

" I've brought you your long-awaited teammate," he said with a cheerful voice.

Alaric squared his shoulders and entered the room. The first thing he noticed was the huge floor-to-ceiling window that gave a clear view of the plane and private planes parked below

He looked at the five people sitting around the room. He was not familiar with them, but he could tell they were strong.

From his readings, he could tell that two were B class, just like him, while the other two were probably stronger than him since he couldn't get their readings.

" Hello nice to meet you, my name is Alaric," Alaric introduced himself.

" Jonathan," a man wearing just shorts and a vest, sitting at the furthest corner, said. He had long black hair just like him but he was covered with tattoos all over his body.

" Snowy," a girl with long white hair said.

" Ruby," a girl with blue hair said.

" Hailey," another girl with black hair, who was licking a lollipop, said.

" John," the one nearest to the door said.

Alaric didn't feel any malice or see any dislike from them but he still didn't trust them completely.

Sacrat's phone rang, and he went outside. He came back a few seconds later.

" The plane is ready, let's go guys," he said and walked out.

Alaric turned to look at the others who stood up and waited for them to leave before following behind them.

Sacrat led them through the security checks as the others grumbled through the repacking. The airport wasn't giving anyone special treatment.

They were led through a different hallway towards the private jet that Alaric saw through the window. So they had been waiting for it.

Alaric had thought they would be using the normal plane maybe go first class.

He had forgotten that the Flame Guild was very big and probably owned hundreds of these planes.

Alaric couldn't wait to go on his fully paid vacation.
