The system interface appeared Infront of him.

Alaric looked back at his kill to find those crocodiles eating the dead one. He wouldn't even have a chance to harvest anything since it was all eaten.

" Okay let's go," Kisha said as she took his arm to head forward. They had more mash to cover and non of them knew what would be inside.

" Hey wait for me," a shout sounded when they were about to leave the dry ground.

They both turned to see Coco climbing out of the mush and onto land. Alaric smiled, she just brought herself to him. She was the only one who had survived in the group of eighteen people.

That wasn't normal and with all the people around her death and she looked pretty uninjured she must have used them as a shield.

He walked towards her Kisha behind him.

" Ooh so you survived? " He said looking down at her. She looked up at him while on the ground and tears started to fall from her eyes.

" Alaric thank God you are alive," she said wiping the corner of her eyes dramatically trying to stand up.

Alaric didn't give her a chance he kicked her right on her side sending her tumbling and rolling on the ground.

" Do you really think I'm stupid or something," he said as he walked to her and stepped on her stomach.

" What do you mean, how could you hit a woman?" She coughed out the words trying to remove his feet from her stomach.

" A woman huh! You really are a woman and so what. You tried to kill me," he said his voice called them it turned sweet," you know I wondered how you managed to survive all those crocodiles?"

She flinched the moment he said that," what!"

" I heard there are plenty of people out there who can charm and control those around them," he said and then continued," you though I wouldn't notice when you tried to use it on me?"

" Lie ,I didn't..," Alaric crushed his foot down even more when she tried to deny it.

" But unfortunately for you,I'm immune to shit like that."

He bent down and wrapped his hands around his neck and lifted her up off the ground and walked to the edge of the safe zone.

" You are the one who suggested we be used as bait right?" He said and turned to Kisha who was behind him and waved her over.

Coco on the other had was trying to get his grip off her throat tears streaming down her cheeks.

" So..sorry... sorry," she tried to wheeze out the words but Alaric assumed her.

" We really don't know what's in there, " he said pointing at the mash they were planning to pass through," she can be our tester."

Kisha nodded agreeing with him. She didn't see anything wrong with what Alaric was doing since they were the ones who did it first.

" You know you are a really beautiful woman but well I hold a grudge," he said before pushing her back to the marsh where they planned to pass through.

" Nooo..." She shouted as Alaric let go of her neck. She fell directly into the mash and Alaric stepped back out of her reach.

Black worm like creatures appeared from the marsh and latched on her. Alaric watched as they started to suck her blood their bodies undulating as it swallowed.

Coco's body started to shrivel up right before their eyes until what was left was only a husk of her body.

Alaric breathed a sigh of relief. They would have been caught off guard. He thought the huge Crocs were the end it but it seemed they were in for a wild ride.

" Is this really a D class dungeon," he asked turning to Kisha who was also looking at the mush.

" Yap,mash dungeons are among the the most tricky in the ranking since it's a mixture of water and mud , it's hard to fight in," she explained.

" How are we going to get across this," he thought as he reached and pulled one of the worms from the body to the ground.

It kept on screeching as it flopped around in his hand. Alaric turned it around looking at it. It didn't seem to have any eyes but it had hundreds small razor sharp teeth around it's mouth going in circles inside it's mouth.

" It's a leech," he said after studying it.

Alaric tried to pull it apart by pulling both ends and avoid it's mouth but the thing just stretched with him while it screeched. Alaric didn't give up he put it on the ground and stepped on it aiming for it's head.

The head bursted like a balloon. Red liquid spraying out, probably the blood it had drank. It twitched around on the ground before it died.

" How are we even supposed to kill this things?" He said out loud .

He took the body of the worm and threw it back into the mash. The moment it landed the other leeches jumped on it and started to eat it.

But seconds later they started to twitch and then stopped moving. Alaric saw this and laughed.

" So they poison each other," he poked one of the leeches, nothing happened

He lifted his whip and flicked it striking down into the mash, the sludge split killing some of the leeches in the process. The previous process of cannibalism happened.

Some leeches came out and tried to feed on the dead ones but died after a few bites.

" I knew it, they just move on instinct, anything that falls into the pond is food they'll towards the place in groups," he said to Kisha excited.

He hit his whip into the pond again and again until a pile of leeches had started to pile up as they poisoned themselves.

" So I'm going to count to three, I want you to run over the bodies don't stop until you are on the other island," he said pointing at the island fifty meters away.

Kisha nodded. Alaric slapped his whip again into the water and then started to count.

The moment he reached three Kisha shot out of the island and ran , it didn't take long before she reached the island. Dirty but unharmed.

Alaric was about to whip for the last time when the island shook. He turned back to see a croc had gotten on the island and was climbing fast and coming to him.

He didn't stand and wait he jumped into the mash and started to run. One leech tried to jump on him from the side but he flicked his whip and hit without stopping.

The whip cut the leech in half ,it's content spraying in the mash. He below him he felt a movement and a leech jumped out. He jumped. As he was midair he flicked his wrist and the whip flashed red as the arc came and slashed the leech in haldf and into the mush splashing water and mud everywhere.

He barely landed on the island since the distance had been long. He summoned the whip back to him as it disappeared into his skin.

He walked towards Kisha who was waiting for him.

" So what now?" He said looking back at the Crocs that had crossed the island and into the leech pool.

" We should be near the boss," she said as she looked around.

Alaric slapped the mush with water with his whip and waited, but nothing happened. He turned to look at Kisha who also shook her head.

" I don't know where it is ," she said gesturing around. The whole place was just mash.

" Okay, just stand there," he said to Kisha before Dipping one of his legs into the marsh, but nothing happened. He waited for a minute but nothing.

He put his other one and walked forward slowly looking around,his whip dragging behind him.

He walked a few steps when he noticed something weird. The marsh water was a light black. The black was only visible if someone went near it. He paused his eyes looking around vigilantly.

There was something in the water it's just that they couldn't see it.

" Kisha, move as far away from my side as possible, I think there is something in the under the marsh.

He stepped forward quietly his feet sinking into the muddy mush. He tightened his hold on the whip and stepped into the murky dark mush.

The moment he stepped in the dark murky water a bubble appeared. Alaric watched as it came up then popped, then another appeared, then another until a almost a quarter of the pool was filled with bubbles.

Alaric knew at that very moment that he had stepped in the wrong territory. Something was in the mush and was clearly disturbed by him.

" Well shit," he murmured to himself as the water exploded splashing onto him.
