'It's a sealed artifact… he's using a sealed artifact.' Slime#47 finally realized it.
This time, his Demonic Pulse had held the purple beam for a few seconds, and in those seconds, he felt that familiar, eerie chill energy.
"And he found us again… but how?" he muttered. After a few seconds, his thoughts sharpened. 'I will try again—differently this time… and if it fails, I can only use…'

He followed the same pattern as the previous loop, but instead of hiding underground, he decided to stay hidden in Ruins City Lunxia's fortress itself.
Instead of opening the sealed room, he stayed inside the fortress rooms and hid. The only problem would be adventurers, but Elder Slime told him that adventurers were rare visitors by interrogating the adventure party.
He could manage dealing with humans once in a while.
Like in many loops, they reached Ruins City Lunxia fortress in ten days.

Boom!
A purple beam tore through the fortress, slaughtering slimes as it rushed toward Young Slime.
"Damn it… Demonic Pulse!" Slime#47 cast, and a dark beam of energy collided with the purple beam.
Bang!
The purple beam overpowered the black beam and wiped out Young Slime.
Thud!
As his consciousness faded, he spotted the flying tree man.
'Even the tree eldritch is here…'

In the nothingness…
"I've got no choice… I'll have to use it," he muttered, staring deeply into the void.
The only option to break the situation—and enter the place that Elder Slime wanted.

Slime#47 opened the crate. Inside lay a blue silk cloak, a closed yellow eye embedded at its center, red veins pulsing around it. The cloak's edges were lined with gold, and its collar was thick with soft golden fur—luxurious, yet no less menacing.
Elder Slime's eyes narrowed as Young Slime took the cloak and wore it. The long cloak transformed, changing its size to match him.
Its edges hovered a little above the ground, not touching the dust. The furry collar wrapped around Young Slime's top section.
'I'm still too cute,' he mused with a forced grin as he glanced at his reflection in the trough—a colorful slime wearing a cloak its size.
"Are you sure?" Elder Slime asked worriedly. He felt it was dangerous to use sealed artifacts.
"It's the only way," the multicolored slime nodded.
'No… Saint King Haruka's power is the last trump card. I want to save it… it's best if I don't ever use it,' he told himself internally.
He didn't want to use it here on three sealed artifacts because he knew he'd have to face many more powerful enemies in the future; after all, he could only unleash it once.
Young Slime's eyes twitched as he didn't get any notification. He only felt like he was wearing an ordinary cloak.
"Just wearing it won't work. You have to bond with it," Elder Slime said with a forced grin, noticing Slime#47's expression.
At Old Slime's words, Young Slime sliced and dropped a part of his body—jelly—onto the cloak, placing it on the ground, and used aura recovery to heal himself. He closed his eyes to focus.

The closed yellow eye on the cloak opened, revealing a black eye with a white iris within.
"So… hmm. A slime?" the eye said, its voice trembling due to speaking after so long.
Its voice echoed directly in Young Slime's mind—a cold alien voice switching between male and female—and it sent chills down Slime#47's core.
'Who's speaking?' Young Slime thought with a tremble, but he was familiar with voices like this. He glanced at the cloak and found its eye open.
He glanced at Elder Slime, who only looked concerned. 'So he can't hear the cloak,' Slime#47 realized.
He put on the cloak and muttered, "Let's work together… hopefully."
'Wait… Grade 4?' He was utterly shocked, mouth wide open, as he finally checked the shimmering panel.
'Grade 3 is Mythic… so this thing is grade higher than Mythic?' His mind trembled. He felt déjà vu—like someone manipulating the world itself.
'Time God again…' He patted himself. He wouldn't be lucky enough to get such a powerful artifact so simply.
"Hm… such a slime is indeed rare," the cloak's eye hummed in delight.
"So,...my name is Xerthom'Vaelioris…" the artifact introduced itself to Slime#47, "And you can call me Vaelioris."
"So… male or female?" Young Slime asked, irritated by the voice switching between cold male and cold female.
"I'm genderless. I'll be male for now—hekekek," Vaelioris's voice shifted into a cold male tone as it laughed.
Elder Slime, noticing Slime#47 being silent for some time, said, "Looks like you have bonded with it."
Young Slime nodded to Elder Slime.
Wob!
"Can I wear it?" Little Slime asked with a gleam in his eyes, tugging the cloak. He really liked the shiny blue silk and golden furry collar.
"No," Elder Slime rejected for Young Slime, who felt troubled to say no to the adorable creature.
Mama Slime was busy pulling all the slimes together, so she didn't catch Elder Slime being concerned—otherwise, she would have rejected Young Slime using it.

Ruins City Lunxia…
"Vaelioris, tell me what you can do," he asked the cloak as Wob!—Elder Slime ran away after creating a small gap in the barrier array.
"I can… do this," Vaelioris said.
The cloak glowed with black energy. A small few inches black humanoid figure appeared, floating near Young Slime.
Slime#47 glanced at the newly manifested figure. It was entirely black and human‑shaped, with one head, two arms, and two legs. A large blinking eye was embedded on his chest.
Its face resembles a human with two eyes, a nose, a mouth, and two eyebrows. It also had medium-length, black hair to its neck. Its black body looked like it wore a tight black skinsuit.

[ Will: 100/100 ]
"What? Didn't I just ask you to tell me what you can do?" Young Slime barked. "For that, you need my Will?"
"Hehhe. You have to pay for what you need!" The small creature grinned with a cunning smile.
