In the deserted graveyard...
After Damien had taken Amon away and the rumbling of the skies had lessened considerably, more than seven clad in pale black robes emerged from the shadows.
They had masks on their faces, but underneath the masks a hideous face could be seen.
Each of them had varying degrees of hideousness hidden underneath their masks, and it was likely the reason why they hid their faces in the first place.
They glanced around in puzzlement upon sensing the remnant aura in the star of death.
Suddenly, one of their expressions changed slightly, "The ruler moved? But we didn't order him to move... could there have been any abnormality within the star gate?"
The other eight behind were also perplexed.
Staring at the graveyard filled with tombstones, they were filled with shock.
They noticed a freshly erected tombstone...
On it were written the words.
[Amon: spent a single day inside with a credible amount of karma and luck.]
After glancing at the stone, they exchanged glances filled with surprise, amazement, and perplexion.
"Who's Amon? For him to receive such a high evaluation from the land of death he has to be far from ordinary."
The others shook their heads, unable to come up with an answer.
"Perhaps we should record his name and research about him later on. He's probably a big figure in this world..."
After the creatures finished exchanging words, they fell silent. Suddenly, one of them spoke up.
"Check up on the ruler again. We've been planning this for more than a hundred years now, I won't want anything to go wrong with our plan."
The moment the masculine voice faded, three of them immediately vanished and the ground below exploded.
There was no hesitation in the hearts of these beasts as they immediately hurried themselves.
Immediately, monstrous shadows appeared in the surroundings and began covering them up.
With that the man turned to the others, "Plan perfectly for everything. There should be nothing wrong with the plans. We're bringing the north to the ground and no one will stop us!!"
His words caused a chill to spread into the hearts of the others.
Still, there was no fear in their eyes but a reverent expression.
With that, time passed gradually and soon the ones that had been buried dug themselves from the grave...
...
On Amon's side, with the urgency to increase his strength, he passed the day struggling to learn from Damien and the night heading out to the ocean to obtain the required creation points to increase his comprehension.
He was slightly fearful while heading there, in case Helena tried anything, but the fear in his heart had also been destroyed.
In fact, she should be grateful for not encountering him these past days or he would have eliminated her.
A cold killing intent flickered in Amon's eyes as he stood up from his meditation.
"Today, it's been seven days since I came to the Behemoth Academy..." Amon let out a faint breath.
According to Damien, every week all three classes exchanged blows to see who was the strongest.
Today, following Damien's words, Amon would try to cause as much trouble as he could.
Of course, being calm was always an option but...
"Today will be troublesome..." Amon tossed the coin into mid air.
It landed in his palm moments later and the snake head stared at Amon. For a flicker he felt it was mocking him...
Having guessed this, Amon placed the coin back in his core...
"4 more uses left for today."
Not dwelling on it, Amon stood up and freshened up before donning a snow white robe, his favorite color.
The robes seemed to accentuate his handsomeness and contrasted perfectly with his black hair.
Then, the silvery strands of his hair once more blended perfectly with his white clothes, causing him to look like a sword immortal.
Wearing the robes made him feel his confidence surge through the roof.
He walked out and saw Natasha clad in training gear.
The black training clothes hugged her curves perfectly and made her look extremely alluring.
Amon took a light gulp at the sight, admiring her beauty for a few seconds.
Helena approached him with a smile. On her eyes was a black and white intersecting blindfold.
With intricate floral patterns, the blindfold looked exceedingly beautiful and matched perfectly with her training gear.
"You look great." Natasha praised with a smile.
"I can say the same about you." Amon replied, returning her smile.
Natasha glanced up at Amon and grinned.
"I'll be going to clear the star gate. I'm prepared."
"You won't be fighting today?" Amon asked.
Natasha shook her head, "There are only 5 people required to fight. I told the instructor I won't be participating in the fight today. Maybe the next one or the one after that we'll finally have our chance to fight."
"Oh..." Amon fell a little speechless but still nodded nonetheless.
Suddenly, Natasha leaned in close to Amon and hugged him tightly.
Amon felt his body stiffen at her hug and his eyes went wide with shock, not expecting Natasha to hug him so suddenly.
Natasha gave a slightly blushing smile and waved towards him, "I wish you luck in your fights today..."
After she finished speaking she hurriedly left, heading in the direction of the star gate.
Left alone, Amon felt the lingering warmth of her hug still clinging to his chest... Internally Amon vaguely felt... his heart beating differently?
He glanced at the direction that Natasha went and some emotions were surging through his heart.
"Unwilling to let your girlfriend leave?" a teasing voice interrupted his thoughts.
Amon smiled awkwardly and turned to face Damien who had a snug smile on his face.
"It's nothing like that." he replied and his face returned to its usual calmness.
He and Natasha were nothing but friends... Good friends....
Damien shook his head slightly, "I'm more experienced in this than you."
Amon was bewildered and wanted to retort using the school head but decided to remain silent on the matter.
"Come, let's go to the training ground. That's where the fights would take place," Damien changed the topic with a smile and led the way.
Amon pondered a little on the lingering feelings before following behind Damien.
"I'll... Try my best today..."
...
Amon and Damien walked briskly towards the training ground.
It was the same one that they had used three days ago...
The moment they reached, Amon noticed groups of students gathered on stage.
In the centre however, was the school head.
Emitting a light chill that caused the air to distort slightly, her hair fluttered gently in the wind.
Amon glanced at her then subconsciously shifted his gaze to Damien who was in front of him.
"And he says he's more experienced than me..." Amon felt exasperated seeing Damien's slightly stiffened expression.
"Didn't expect her to be here..." he muttered under his breath but Amon caught every word.
Suddenly Damien's cold eyes snapped towards Amon.
"Amon, how prepared are you for today's fights?"
Amon glanced at Damien suspiciously, but seeing his serious expression his eyes swept through the group of students as he finally answered.
"About 100 percent..."
Hearing Amon's reply, Damien glanced at the school head then muttered, "Good... Good... Good..." as he patted Amon's head in delight.
With that the three rapidly approached the location of the other instructors...
"Hoho, what do we have here?"
