It was a T-shaped intersection of three different streets coming together and he stood near a Light-pole! The pole was totally black! Had an intricate gothic design and was crafted from two different demonic metals!

The unique combination making the pole an excellent conductor of demonic energy!! ...

While the pole itself was standing like an upside down L! And just below the horizontal metal was a matter of energy levitating in a super condensed gaseous state!

That shone with a soft red light complementing the crimson skies above!! ...

Which were so because of the inextinguishable crimson flames burning endlessly in the neighboring Lands of Raging Flames!

The sheer heat from the flames melted the vast skies!! ...

Transforming them into something akin to a gargantuan mirror that reflected both the heat all over and trapped the crimson radiance within!

Moreover although the ground of Erythron was cool and wasn't affected by the heat much! Still if one were to fly towards the city skies without reaching a sufficient enough rank in there path of Ascension or the required strength!

Then only the fate of absolute immolation awaited them! They would be melted instantly and completely! The heat of those flames wasn't a joke after all!

Demon calmly watched the little girl around 5 to 6 years old- run past him towards the opposite street!! ...

Vanessa raised her silver brow at her master's out of the blue statement! "Are you perhaps concerned about the lives of these mortals Master!?~~ "

She questioned! Her tone a mellow echo of plain amusement!! ...

"What!? Is it that surprising!!... " Demon chuckled with a faint tremble of his shoulders! "Guess you could say that Master have gone soft!!"

The demonic sprit couldn't help but smirk at her Master's humor! "What a joke! A few hours ago- you were eating our flesh! Drinking our blood! And were toying with us- Like some savage beast!!...

Your brutality- enough to even make beings such as us wail in sheer agony was a far cry for someone who claims to have gone soft!!~~ "

"Tell me the real reason behind your words Master!?" Vanessa asked! Her expression curious whereas her lips curled on watching his twitching brows!

"Actually- Let me guess!? Umm!!... "

Vanessa tapped her chin a few times! Afterwards she nodded purposefully! Her gaze refocused on her Master- A head taller then her! She raised her index finger!

Her velvet lips parted with her melodious voice flowing out- Like a pleasant symphony!! ...

"One- It could be just a passing thought you had! Which you voiced without caring about if it would have positive implications or negative!!...

Second could be- That you have come to know of something about that strange portal which you came to see for yourself! Something which happened or you noticed after we teleported to this city or while we were roaming it! Something on which My perception failed Me!!...

"Alright you can stop your mind right there!!... "

Demon interrupted her mid-sentence with an amused curl of his lips! He shook his head! "Your first guess was perfectly correct alright!!.. "

He focused on this cheerful spirit of his! Who was quite enjoying herself while playing word games with him! Then again it's not like he minded her words much either!

As her previous accusation of his savagery was indeed true! However at that time Vanessa never said that she did not enjoy herself!

When in actuality- If he were to ever go gentle on them! Then these Demonesses would instead assume that they have done something wrong which had angered him that he wasn't making them cry for him!

At which point it was certain that they would really cry!! ...

But this time not in pleasure but for forgiveness! As there obsession for him was so deep that simply the thought of him getting angry on them would break them!

There mind! Heart and soul could become just that fragile when things were related to him after all! Nevertheless this only spoke volumes about the sheer infatuation they had for Demon! There beloved Master!

Whereas Demon himself was fully aware of that too!! ...

In fact- He wholeheartedly loves to drown himself in there endlessly dense! Deep and dark ocean of unhealthy obsession! Infatuation and passion!

He shook his head inwardly! Collecting his thoughts and finally giving Vanessa an explanation which she seemed rather eager to hear!

"It was just a passing thought I had! When I saw the little girl run by us cheerfully! Laughing and in joy!! ...

At that point I thought- It would be nice to end the suffering of these demons which I perfectly can! Though one could argue that much hasn't changed! But again nothing could ever change the fact that the demon realm was always an unforgiving place to began with and it will always remain such undoubtedly!

This was the reason behind My statement! And it obviously had nothing to do with Me actually going soft or anything! Now happy you Demoness!!"

"Indeed it certainly doesn't suit the Master of all that is wicked! Evil! The destruction himself to talk about ending destruction and suffering or even bringing peace!!...

The simple thought of such a notion would be ludicrous!!~~ "

Vanessa nodded with agreement!! ...

"You rebellious spirit! Who you calling wicked! Huh!? Looks like you haven't suffered enough! And are eager for even more agony by being so brazen with Me!!"

The maid grinned teasingly! "Indeed I'm eager for more! Considering the one that I experienced wasn't nearly enough to satiate My thrist!!...

So when are you going to provide Me with My Hell dear Master!!~~ "

"Soon! Very soon! My Demoness!!~~ " Demon smiled! His crimson gaze darkened! Forcing electrifying jolts to ripple through the maid's beating heart!

Vanessa gulped whereas Demon suppressing his Lust finally focused on the thing that had caught his attention! And had drawn him towards this intersection!

Alternatively Vanessa on noticing his sudden change also became curious! About the same thing as her Master! As she had also preceived the tangible hatred originating not far from the intersection!

Both Master and the Maid turned! Moved- going left from the corner! They walked through the straight street of the city! There steps calm! Unhurried!

And after walking for a few minutes! Demon took other left turn! Entered another street and finally came to a stop!

His gaze focused on a sorry figure of a demon!! ... ... ... ... ...
