Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 148: A-Class Ride

Jimmy and Anna made it to the rocky mountains in just under two hours. It was a short trip back home in their eyes, and once they got there, they saw plenty of people outside of the cavern.

At first this was concerning, but once they landed, they saw that the tribe's folk were helping the six, newly tamed QTs build a nest. They had managed to communicate, which was a relief, because the situation could've gone south rather easily.

Dinosaurs were knocking trees down, people were chopping the branches up with makeshift stone axes, and the old dinosaur pets were carrying trees that people couldn't carry. Rampage proved especially helpful in knocking trees down, it was one of his specialties.

At this rate, they should be done building the nest before night time. The people and the dinosaurs were very efficient throughout their cooperation.

Jimmy found Zik, and said, "Good job, man, I didn't expect all of you to work with the tamed QTs so well. It's nice to see people working so hard to help our dinosaurs."

"I made them come out and work," Zik said, "Dinosaurs are keeping us alive, they deserve a lot more respect than those elders do."

Jimmy chuckled, and then he said, "I can see that you're busy, but I need you and Rampage for a short trip."

"You do?" He parroted, "What, did you see some jackasses heading our way?!"

"Nope," He waved his hands, trying to help his middle aged friend calm down, "We ran into some people when we were up in the forest, and they are coming our way, yes, but as friends, not as enemies."

"Forest?" He repeated, "My father used to mention the forest people, they're supposed to be very good hunters, prideful people too."

"Oh, they're prideful, possibly to a fault," He added, "They tried to kill me and Anna, so we have to keep an eye on them, but don't worry, I killed their 'rebels' already, so they shouldn't be too much of a risk. We need to get them up here, and you need to show them our way of life, and why they should fight by our side."

"You made a bold decision, Jimmy," Zik sighed, "We need hunters, sure, but are those tree humpers the best choice? How many of them are there? We could be looking at a bloodbath here."

"Nah," He waved his hand, "They can't afford to fight us, there's only twelve of them. They lost most of their tribe last winter, their home, and funnily enough, they killed one of our traitors too. One of the Field Runners, I mean, and they brought me his head as a peace offering."

"That's bold," Zik said, "I don't trust them, not at all, but if you want to, I'll do my best to help them understand what they're up against."

"Go easy on them," He said, "Once they understand that our home is worth protecting, they'll be ready to risk their necks for the safety our cavern provides, if not for us directly. The good things we offer have to outweigh the bad, but trust me, they're not bad people, they're just desperate. They even offered to hunt for us, keep us fed, before they tried to kill me and Anna, that is."

"I don't like this one bit," Zik openly expressed, "But let's give them a shot. If they try anything funny, I'll handle them. I can kill twelve people by myself if I have an advantage!"

"I don't doubt that," He chuckled, "You tamed Rampage, after all."

Anyway, after the two of them set up their plan, Jimmy hopped on top of Gutaxun, and Zik climbed on top of Rampage.

Ideally, he wanted to intercept the new hunters from the sky as well, but Bonita was tired. She had put a lot of work in today, with two people on her back, so she needed to rest.

Jimmy also picked Gutaxun, because he missed the sweet, smart giant. It was obvious that Gutaxun missed him too. He chirped along once he saw Jimmy, and ran towards him like a huge puppy. He almost crushed Jimmy to death, simply because he wanted to have his snout petted.

This was a nice little reunion, but they had to get moving. Nighttime was close, so they couldn't afford to waste any time.

Luckily, Gutaxun was quite fast on the ground. He beamed down the mountainside nearly at full speed, as he didn't have several people weighing him down, like he had been weighed down a couple of days ago. With just Jimmy to carry, his speed was exceptional.

Rampage was just as fast, and the best part was that he didn't even have to rush. He was a giant, through and through, so one step of his was like ten steps of Gutaxun's.

The two of them made it to the foot of the mountain in two hours, despite the great distance. They got down to the grasslands before the new hunters even arrived!

With that said, they carried their masters across the grasslands, and they found the hunters half an hour later. Throughout the ride, Jimmy was once more reminded how lucky he was to be a dinosaur tamer. If he hadn't ridden Gutaxun, just the trip down to the foot of the mountain would've taken four, maybe five hours if he traveled on foot. In a world where each day was twenty-three hours long, he was saving a considerable amount of time.

Anyway, the twelve hunters were absolutely terrified when they saw Rampage. They've seen members of his species before, but not this big, he was an absolute monster!

Jimmy had to climb down from Gutaxun, just to help the hunters relax. They had barely seen him, not to mention Zik, so they had been fully expecting to be trampled to death.

"Zelna!" He called out, "How was the trip?"

"G-good," Her voice shook, "Did you really tame that fat neck yourself?"

"Rampage?" He asked, "No, my friend Zik tamed him. No magic, nothing of that sort, just through pure willpower. You'll love him."

"Come on up, the water's fine!" Zik shouted from the top of Rampage's back, and waved his hand at the hunters.

Zik seemed tiny from up there, but he was getting his point across nonetheless. Hopefully, Rampage alone scared these hunters straight.

"Come on, you all have to climb up Rampage's leg. It's not as hard as it looks." He guided them, "I promised you a fun ride, right? Did I, or did I not deliver?"

"You did…" Zelna looked at Rampage, both in fascination and fear, "You sure fucking did."
