Gutaxun was fed, he was happy, so he was quite eager to listen to the commands of whoever steered him. He ran at an average speed of 15 mp/h, or 24 km/h which was fast enough for the team to make quick progress across the mountainside, and slow enough to prevent them from flying off of Gutaxun after every bump, or hole he ran into.
Everyone was comfortable. Anna insisted to keep steering Gutaxun, because despite the injuries she suffered today, she wanted to protect the only two people she held close and dear in this odd life. Considering the sacrifices she made today, she was truly the best person for the job.
At some point, approximately five kilometers before they made it to the grasslands, her skills were put to the test.
Specifically, they saw a line of dust expanding across the grasslands, which was hardly noticeable from their distance, but they saw it. The line of dust looked linear, and was obviously caused by immense pressure, as if a super fast dinosaur was beaming through the lands!
Shortly after, they heard tens of branches crack all at the same time. The sounds were distant, but when paired with an accelerating, continuous whistling sound, it was impossible to be unaware of a simple, yet terrifying fact! Whatever moved this fast, was now up in the mountain, and it was getting closer!
"That can't be good," Anna said, "Brace yourselves!"
Afterwards, she grabbed the only spear she had left, and aimed it in front of her. She wanted to hit whatever was approaching them, before it got the chance to attack!
"Anna, wait!" Nechi exclaimed.
Anna saw a huge dust cloud, about fifty meters ahead of them, and she reacted immediately. She tossed her spear with as much strength as she could muster, and her spear flew towards her target at top speeds!
A split second later, she saw a pair of muscly, feminine legs parked right in front of her, on top of Gutaxun's back!
"Nice shot," A soft, yet present voice struck their ears. "Too slow, though."
"Eni!" Nechi exclaimed. "How did you find us?"
"I didn't," Eni said. "I was running home, and saw you guys on a dinosaur. You can guess the rest, haha."
"Where are the rest of the hunters," Anna pulled on Eni's skirt, to grab her attention. "Are they close?"
…
The team, along with Eni, eventually made it to the grasslands, on Gutaxun's back. She wanted to see what it was like to ride a dinosaur, and she was excited at first, but she got bored five minutes into the ride.
Eni was a Field Runner. This type of magic was closely associated with Super Speed. Sure she may not be able to run as fast as the speed of light, but she was still fast.
The typical Field Runner could run half as fast as the speed of sound, if they tried their best, which was very impressive.
Although there was no easy way to measure their speed, a firm guess would be that Eni, at most, could run around 600 km/h, or 372 mp/h. She was fast, but along the ride, she described that she often avoided running at top speeds, because it would both deplete her magic quickly, and it also hurt her physically to travel that fast.
The latter wasn't surprising. The human body was not aerodynamic enough to run that fast, and the fact that Eni still could reach such speeds was a miracle. It defied the laws of science, but she could practice it whenever she had to. Even if it hurts.
Anyway, as they rode their way down to the grasslands, Eni explained that the hunters ran into trouble. She fled, because at some point, she was scared out of her mind, and couldn't take it anymore. She was a twenty-two year old hunter, she was born to kill dinosaurs, so whatever managed to spook her, should not be approached lightly.
That aside, Eni did not tell them what happened to the hunters, which was quite stress inducing. Anna was losing her mind, because she wanted answers immediately.
Nevertheless, Eni didn't want to talk about it. She was both traumatized, and embarrassed. Her words were soft, her attitude jolly, but she refused to speak of the hunters.
It was a stressful situation, but at least she had gathered the guts to lead them where the hunters were, and this was good enough. The team wanted to go there and help in any way they could.
Once they made it into the grasslands, they took a sharp turn to the right, and had Gutaxun run at top speeds. If he maintained this speed, they'd reach the hunters in one hour's time.
Along the way, Eni found herself allured towards Gutaxun, in an odd way. Although bored, she still found it interesting that Jimmy had somehow managed to tame a dinosaur. She had never seen an apex predator behaving so well.
Eni stood up, while Gutaxun was at top speed, faced the three of them, and started asking questions. She didn't care about falling.
"So you can hear its blood you said? What's that like?" She asked.
"Well, uh…" Jimmy tried to answer, but his words were cut short.
Eni interrupted him, with yet another question, her brown hair bouncing across the air, "Do you smell him too? He has a very strong smell. So musky. It's almost… comforting."
"What?" He asked, confused. "You mean, he smells like a land fish or something? He has scales, so maybe that's what you mean?"
"No, silly." She shook her head. "I've smelled hundreds of dinosaurs before, but this smell, it's new, it's making me feel… okay."
"Maybe you should sit down, sweetie." Nechi prompted her. "We can tell that you had a rough day. Maybe your nose is playing tricks on you? Sit down."
Eni could tell that the three of them were getting uncomfortable, so she sat down. However, she sat on the dinosaur's back, backwards, facing the three of them.
This was weird, but they didn't mind it. Field Runners were comfortable almost anywhere, as their speed could usually get them out of trouble.
However, she continued to make everyone uncomfortable. She stared right past Anna, and straight into Jimmy's eyes.
She did not break eye contact, she did not blink. She just stared at him, and had a devious smile on her face, as if she was possessed by a demon.
Jimmy was weirded out at first, but he had a hard time keeping eye contact, because he was staring at her breasts. Eni's breasts were big, the biggest pair he's seen so far, and they were magnificent! They seemed fat, with a little bit of muscle keeping them together, so one could easily mistake them with paradise if they grabbed a hold of them. Her breasts seemed especially big, considering that Eni was a short woman.
'My god…' He thought. 'I wonder how hard those honkers press against her chest when she's running? Gotta be painful."
As Eni's breasts bounced around every time Gutaxun took a large step, he grew more and more allured towards them. Big boobs knew how to make their way into a man's heart, after all, and it didn't help that her breasts were close to slipping out of her fur clothes, thanks to all the bouncing around. He simply could not stop looking at them!
Even Anna got a little bit aroused. She wasn't a bisexual per say, but breasts like Eni's could convince her to flip to the other side of her sexual preference spectrum. She was aroused, and weirded out, which when combined, was a very uncomfortable feeling.
For that matter, as she tried to avoid her gaze, Anna then asked, "Nechi, are you sure you know this girl?"
"Of course she knows me, silly!" Eni's voice cracked, and she finally broke eye contact with Jimmy, and then looked at Anna. "What's the matter? Do you like girls, and is that why you're so uncomfortable? I saw how you were looking at my fun bags, hehe, so don't deny it. If you wanna squeeze my boobies, you gotta work for it, like, fry me some meat first?"
Anna then kept her head down. She got embarrassed, and refused to say another word.
"Awww, she's shy!" Eni exclaimed, as if she was looking at a puppy.
Eni didn't want to make Anna uncomfortable, she wasn't actively trying to, at least, she was just expressing what she felt, and what she saw. In a way, she was also trying to deal with her trauma, so watching a woman ogle her breasts surely made her feel better. It was fair to say, she was making everyone a bit uncomfortable now, even though she wasn't making unbreakable eye contact with them.
Jimmy wanted to laugh, but he feared the consequences. He just repaired his relationship with Anna, and he did not want to do anything to mess that up. He played it safe.
"Don't worry," Eni winked at Anna. "I'll let you have a feel later on. Above the fur clothes only, unless of course, you fry some meat for me. That's the deal, take it or leave it."
"I'll let you know," Anna finally answered, though she still kept her head down.
