Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 47: "Mamma ain't raise no b*tch!"

After about an hour of traveling on Gutaxun's back, thirty kilometers, or roughly eighteen miles across the grasslands, they finally got close to where the hunters were. Or, where the hunters were supposed to be.

The team took precautions once they were within a one-hundred-meter radius of the site, because they didn't know what to expect. Eni didn't tell them what dangers to expect, at least, so they had to be careful.

To get a tactical advantage, they climbed off Gutaxun. If things got out of hand, his best use was to be an attack dog, and in a situation like that, it would be best if they weren't on his back, as they could fly away. It was too dangerous.

The team approached the site from the north-east, and Gutaxun approached it from the north-west. It was a bit of a challenge to command him to approach the site alone, but Jimmy eventually found the combination of pinches and hand gestures necessary to make him take part in the tactical approach.

Three pinches to his left leg, and comic prayer-like body movements to make him walk north-west, was effective after about ten minutes of silent effort. He was on board.

Anyway, they approached the site, slowly. The team crouched, as to not be spotted by whatever dangers waited for them on the other side.

Eni had joined them. At least, she had gathered the guts to approach this dangerous bit of land, but she specifically said she would flee if she sensed the faintest bit of danger. This was infuriating, but at least she was a half-decent guide.

"Spears up," Anna whispered.

Thanks to today's events, the group only had three spears remaining. Their fur-bags were empty, and only good for decoration at this point. Eni was the only one who wasn't equipped with a spear, because she was fast enough to run away from danger if it came to it. She didn't have to fight.

Once they got within thirty meters of the site, Jimmy heard a large heart beat. It almost tore his ear drums apart, so he crashed to the ground. Luckily, he was already crouching, so he didn't draw any unwanted attention towards the group when he crashed.

Nechi grabbed him by the shoulder, checking if he was okay. She didn't speak, but the worry on her face could be painted on a canvas.

Jimmy gathered himself, and started crouching again. This giant heartbeat only affected him for ten seconds, and after that point, his ears got used to it, and he managed to tune it out with little effort. This was another advantage, or an example of how his abilities evolved.

The team then continued their approach. Ahead of them was a huge, downward hill, and it was too steep from the looks of it, because it halted their approach.

The four of them looked at each other in worry. Other than that, they were looking at Anna for answers, and although the silence was deafening, she knew what was expected of her. Somehow, she became the strategic genius of the group.

After a moment of hard, stressful pondering, she started walking around the pit-like hill, and waved her hand at everyone to follow her. She did not want to give up.

Once they got approximately ten meters closer, or roughly thirty feet, Anna was the first one to see what had scared Eni senseless. She saw a giant, a giant that should not exist, even in this era of giant lizards!

'What the fuck?' She panicked internally.

Afterwards, she dropped on her stomach, and laid flat to avoid being spotted. The rest of the team mirrored her, and it was smart of them to do so.

Apart from Eni, it took the rest of them a little while to figure out why Anna was trying to hide. Moments later, they got a small peek of what was ahead of them, and they couldn't believe their eyes! Even Nechi was shocked!

'A giant fucking human?!' Jimmy thought, and almost shat himself. 'Perfect, fucking perfect! Why did we even come here?'

'Oh dear,' Nechi lowered her head. 'No wonder Eni didn't want to talk about this. How would you even explain this?'

There were shy of twenty dead bodies of normal humans, or the tribe's hunters, spread across the bottom of the large pit. Anna only managed to spot a couple of the bodies, but she didn't need more than that to understand what happened. A giant tore through the hunters like a knife through butter, and by all odds, there was nothing the hunters could have done about it.

While they tried to accept what they saw, they heard these small thuds, or tiny earthquakes that repeated every three seconds or so. Anna immediately understood what this meant. There were more than one giant down there!

'We have to fall back, and reassess.' She planned. 'We need a good plan if we're going to kill these bastards. If there are any hunters left for us to save, then we really gotta be smart about our approach.'

Anna's logic was sound, but then she was reminded why her idea was faulty. Fifty meters ahead, or a bit over a hundred and sixty feet ahead, she saw Gutaxun, staring down in the pit.

'Shit!' She panicked. 'They're gonna see him!'

In a logical world, a predatory dinosaur who was five-meters tall to the hip could absolutely shred a human into pieces. However, this world seems to work against logic, so Gutaxun could not beat the giant humans that were down in that pit. Not even on his best day!

Rough estimations cited that these hairy, giant humans in front of them were about fifteen meters tall, or close to fifty feet tall! They were three times as tall as Gutaxun, or as tall as a Giraffatitan, for scale, which was one of the tallest dinosaurs in this era, with an unproportional neck-to-body ratio. Simply said, the giant humans were too tall, too big.

Gutaxun did not stand a chance, and he knew this. But he kept staring at them, hoping to find an advantage.

'Mamma ain't raise no bitch!' Gutaxun thought, or at least, his brain projected equivalent images of that phrase.

Afterwards, he growled, as loud as he could, drawing attention towards himself. He was out-matched in almost every way, but he wanted to tailor a fair fight, where even his overpowered targets had a chance to fight back, even if not to the best of their abilities. For once in his life, he was too proud to launch a sneak attack!
