The giant humans were unyielding. Their minor wounds that the hunters had caused, hinted that they were unyielding. On the other hand, their small wounds were the title to a longer story.
Most of their wounds looked like mosquito bites from afar, but there was something else to consider. The giant did suffer casualties, as there was a big, dead giant far away, though still visible even from a great distance.
This hinted that the hunters caused an odd combination of small, and fatal damage against these giants.
By all odds, the tribesmen and women with special magic, had killed one of the giants during their battle, but the luck of the hunters had met its end there. They either retreated, or were all killed, and right now, there was no way to tell for sure, so Jimmy and his group couldn't just retreat, or flee.
The situation was ascending towards the worst anyway. Gutaxun had caught the attention of the giants, and they couldn't just leave him behind, and let him get slaughtered. It was obvious that the giants would not spare him, and might even see him as a small lunch.
Anna was in deep panic, Jimmy equally so, but they couldn't do anything to fight the giants. Even Nechi, who was the most dangerous member of them all, needed to get closer to the giants in order to inflict her necromantic attacks, which opened up another new book of risk and danger if she attempted to do so.
Grinding her teeth, Anna was desperate to find a way to help Gutaxun. She grew a bit attached to this wonderful dinosaur, and didn't want to see him get slaughtered because of a tactical approach that she had thought of roughly five minutes ago.
Seconds later, they saw four more giants rise. The giants were from twenty, to sixty meters away from Jimmy and the group. Gutaxun drew the attention of the giants, so the team were safely hidden, but their safety was going to be short-lived, because the giants were just tall enough to poke their heads out of the large ditch, and so they could look beyond the hills. They'd eventually spot tiny humans sneaking around them.
'Shit shit shit!' Anna panicked. 'They're gonna turn Gutty into mush!'
Desperate for an answer to their troubles, desperate for a plan, she studied the giants as quickly as she could. Since she was mainly looking at their backs, or at their giant heads, an idea finally popped up in her mind, and it puzzled together in her brain so fast that the puzzle pieces could rip one's finger off! Metaphorically speaking.
Anna quickly crouched upwards, grabbed the spears that Nechi and Jimmy were holding, and then gave them all to Eni, the Field Runner.
"Can you climb up their back?" She whispered, desperate for her cooperation.
"Yes," Eni nodded. "I tried that already. I even stabbed their throats before, but they didn't even feel it."
"Their skin is tough, but their eyes aren't. Go stab them in the eyes, as quickly as you can!" She exclaimed through a whisper. "If your spear gets somehow stuck, just leave it, and head for the other giants. Please, Eni, I need you to do this!"
Eni was hesitant, she was scared out of her mind, and was sure that most attacks wouldn't even make these giants flinch, including the plan that Anna pitched, but she was coaxed to at least give it a shot. When she saw the desperation in Anna's eyes, it was almost like looking into a mirror, as Eni herself had been this desperate earlier on when she tried to kill the giants herself. She was terrified, but she could not refuse Anna's plea.
Eni grabbed the spears, and in the blink of an eye, she was gone! She dashed downhill, and moved far too fast for the human eye to capture her movements, especially from afar.
A second later, the team saw the giants yell out, and raise their arms to hold their faces. One after the other, the giants let out this loud, heavy toned scream!
"Yes!" Anna exclaimed, as quietly as she could. "Good job!"
"Ooouh!" The giants screamed, one after the other, their voices equal if not greater to the sound of thunder. "Ooaku!"
The giants were cussing in their own language. It was impossible to know exactly what they said, as this language was foreign to Anna and everyone else, but one could make good guesses.
The sudden loss of eyesight was always horrible, and terrifying, regardless of how large a creature was. Being conditioned to use one's eyes throughout life, and then having this vital sense taken away, was quite fear inducing.
Gutaxun could not comprehend super speed, and he didn't need to. He just saw the giants holding their faces, and walking around cluelessly, bumping into each other.
"Hm-hm-hm-hm…" He chirped, as if he was trying to laugh. "Hme-hme-hme…"
However, Gutaxun was also smart enough to understand that the situation has changed. He did not know why the giants were suddenly disoriented, but then he looked one of the giants in the eye, and saw blood dripping out of it. Now, he at least knew why the giants were stumbling around.
This was enough for him to halt his attack. He chose not to battle the giants yet, because he guessed that the small humans he held dearly in his heart, were carrying out a plan of some sort. He backed away a few steps, so as to not get swung at, or crushed by any of the giants, if one of them chose to climb out of the ditch. He just observed them, looking for the best time to attack, and kill them.
On the edges of the ditch, Eni suddenly popped up in front of Anna and the group. Her breasts flung around as they caught up with the sudden halt of velocity. However, the team was too stressed out to care about her magnificent breasts, so they paid no attention towards them.
Eni didn't have any spears in her hands, but she did manage to blind all five giants, and assured them that there weren't any other giants to worry about. With that considered, the team could work around the fact that they no longer had spears. They couldn't have put the spears to use even if they had them.
"Good, very good." Anna whispered. "You did a great job!"
Afterwards, she turned to Nechi, and said, "The job's not done yet. You know what we need to do, sister."
Nechi was a bit nervous, but she wasn't hesitant. Since they got here, she knew that she eventually had to use her dark powers. With the giants stumbling around aimlessly, now was the best time to attack them with mother nature's most brutal addition.
Nechi didn't say a word. She just nodded, and started sliding down the steep hill. If she was going to carry out an efficient attack, she had to get ten meters close to each giant, or roughly thirty-two feet. This was an insanely dangerous task, even with the giants blinded, but Anna wasn't going to let her sister die.
She turned to Eni, and said, "You stay here. If we get in trouble, come pull us out."
