Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 51: The beauties of the Jurassic Era

The hours went away fast. It was already past mid-day, and with the average day in the Jurassic Era being twenty-three hours long, on this hot summer day, the team had less than five hours to find any survivors, and bring them back home.

The nights in the grasslands were brutal, so if they got stuck here at nightfall, they'd be in more trouble than they could handle. Even with Gutaxun here to protect them, they'd still be putting their lives at risk.

Nightfall was just a few hours away, because even after they killed the giants, the team spent a solid three hours looking for survivors. They did not make any progress.

Other than that, they were already running into trouble due to the day-time predators who roamed the lands. A hungry, giant predator was always troublesome to deal with, but even the small predators were becoming a hassle, as they were nibbling on Gutaxun's feet, mistaking him as a wounded dinosaur.

Gutaxun was covered with the blood of the giants, the blood of his enemies, and this managed to attract scavengers. So far, he had to stomp twelve Compies to death.

As for the bigger predators, they took extra precautions to try and avoid them. This was not a good day to fight them.

"Things are looking grim," Jimmy sighed.

Jimmy was pointing out the obvious. Everyone was aware that things were looking bad, they were aware that there may not be any survivors, but they didn't want to stop looking. Hunters were vitally important members of the tribe, and so they'd be happy if they found just a handful of them.

They'd be over the moon, because otherwise, all the responsibility regarding food would fall on their heads. The math was simple–the kids and the elderly back in the tribe could not hunt, and since Jimmy and his girlfriends had a dinosaur, every bit of responsibility would fall upon them.

"Let's keep looking," Anna said.

Nechi, who had suffered the most heartbreak today, was the most demotivated person here. She saw the dead bodies of twenty familiar faces, she was traumatized, and just wanted to go home. In her eyes, all hope was lost.

She expressed it too, "What's the point in looking, sister? If Eni hadn't been able to find anyone yet, what makes you think we'll be any luckier?"

Stubborn, Anna reminded her, "Eni is a living example that we'll eventually find some survivors. If she managed to flee, then other Field Runners might have done the same. They could also have saved several hunters. We have a few more hours to look, so let's try and keep our hopes up, okay?"

"Okay, sister." Nechi sighed, and a tear ran down her cheek. "Okay…"

Twenty minutes later, their exploration was stunted by a herd of Diplodocus Longus. The herd wasn't too big, there were only ten of them, with ranging sizes, but it was best to avoid them. Even hunters took extreme caution when they approached this species.

As the name of the species suggested, they were very long. From head to tail, they were at most, twenty-seven meters long, or a solid ninety feet.

Their long neck and tail was what made these herbivores so long, and with them being close to seven meters tall with their heads raised, or twenty-two feet, even Gutaxun was hesitant to attack them. If he was hungry, he'd consider hunting at least one of them, but as of now, he didn't want to risk it.

The team went around the herd of Diplodocus Longus, and tried not to get in the way of wherever they were migrating to. They had enough things to worry about.

It was inspiring to watch these massive, green lizards move, it was a sight of a lifetime, and since the team weren't out on a hunt, they could appreciate the scenery for a moment. The long range of short spikes across the spines of these gentle giants, made them look especially beautiful.

Anyway, they progressed past the herd, and continued their search. This day was feeling too long, and too short at the same time. They were nervous, their guts were tied into a knot.

As of now, they were three hours away from home, so if they were to avoid the dangers of the night, they had a solid two hours to find the hunters. They were getting more and more desperate by the passing minute.

Twenty minutes later, Eni popped up in front of them, on top of Gutaxun's back. She was sweaty, out of breath, but there was a spark of excitement in her eyes.

She tortured them for a solid ten seconds, that felt like forever, as she tried to catch her breath. It looked like she had new information to share, and yet she was torturing them by not saying a word.

Eventually, she let out one word, "Grass."

"Grass?" Anna repeated. "What?"

Eni took a little while longer to catch her breath, but she kept flinging her arm towards the north-east. This at least helped Anna steer Gutaxun in that direction.

"High Grasslands," Eni then heaved out. "I found some hunters, but they're hurt. They don't know where they're going."

"We can work with that," Anna sighed in relief. "How far are the High Grasslands from here?"

"I dunno," Eni coughed. "I'm a Field Runner. Every trip for me is short."

"It's close," Nechi added. "We'll get there in no time."

The team finally got some good news. Their mood turned around completely, they were happy, and had Gutaxun run north-east as fast as he could. Every second counted now, especially since the survivors were hurt. They could not waste any time.

Jimmy was less enthusiastic. He was a healer, in a sense, which was troublesome, because he couldn't heal people unless he got intimate with them. This was the curse of his healing abilities, and there simply was no way to work around it right now.

This was going to be an awkward experience for him, in every way one could imagine. If the survivors were all men, then he was about to face the most awkward day of his life!

Getting intimate with men was not as easy as when done with a woman. Essentially, if he had to heal them, he likely had to grab them by the crotch, and feel sweet, potentially erotic emotions towards them while doing so. That was the only way!

Jimmy was not bisexual, not at all, so he did not look forward to this. He was hoping that he could heal them without grabbing their privates, but even he knew that it was unlikely. For example, he had to hold Anna's breasts for twenty minutes earlier today, just to heal a few cracks across her bones.

Relatively, a few hours ago, he killed two giants by giving them heart attacks, sure, but attacking, and healing were two completely different things! They were not scaled equally, and his offensive abilities obviously had the edge.

'Jesus fucking Christ,' He held his head in silence. 'Guess I gotta be the hero today? I hope I can just squeeze their nipples and be done with it… I really don't wanna jack anyone off.'
