Mike waited a moment and spoke quietly."Um yes, we need you. We are only four, you see."

Mike looked at the girl and she looked at the group. She smiled."Thank you. Nobody wanted me. Thank you all."

Mike and Hero nodded. Then they noticed the timer had already reached zero. Too bad, they could not properly study the other groups before it started. Still, Mike quickly scanned them.

Mike looked at Hero, who was already in the middle of the room. Hero hesitated. Mike did not. He jumped in as well.

But when a beast came from behind and threw him into the air, Hero reacted instantly. He sliced its arms off in a flash, then finished it by cutting off its head. Blood covered the wall.

Hero looked shocked. He even spoke quietly."Mike… those were humans. Why so brutal?"

Mike did not respond. After all, they had done the same to Terry.

Ice and Terry stood near the wall, waiting for it to be over. Suddenly, a beast rushed at them from the corner. They jumped aside. It crashed into the wall and left several cracks behind.

The beast shook its head and immediately attacked Ice and Terry again. This time there was no chance to dodge. Pinned against the wall, the beast lunged forward. Its face was twisted, and with full force it slammed its head toward Terry and Ice.

But rescue came at the last second.

The girl they had taken in just ten seconds before the start raised her hands. Chains shot forward from her wrists and instantly wrapped around the beast. She pulled hard, and the chains sliced through its flesh. The beast was killed instantly. The chains snapped back into her hands.

She smiled."Thanks again for taking me in. My name is Fie."

Fie smiled again and fired her chains at one of the knights. They struck his head and shattered it within seconds.

Around Mike and Hero, more and more blood splattered across the room. Soon, only a few remained. Mike's team, one remaining beast team, and the boy who had slammed Terry against the wall earlier.

Fie had quickly taken care of the other beast as well. Now Mike finally realized how strong she really was. She might even be able to keep up with Hero. And chains were a good weapon, Mike had to admit.

Then Mike noticed the boy. He was trying to run away. He stood pressed against the wall and shouted,"Let me go, you dogs!"

He waved his sword wildly.

Hero blinked and spoke."I am sorry."

Hero sprinted forward, but suddenly something grabbed him from behind. Hero was held back. It was Mike.

"Stop. Let Terry finish it," Mike said.

Hero looked at Mike in confusion, then tore himself free."Just end it already. That poor boy must be terrified. Are you insane?"

Mike grinned."I do not know. But this is the right thing."

Mike spoke calmly. Fie and Ice said nothing. They stayed silent. No one knew what they thought about it.

Then Terry spoke."I do not know if I can…"

But suddenly, from behind, there was a strike. The boy had jumped forward and aimed his sword straight at Terry's head.

"No!"

Fie screamed and threw her chain in the boy's direction at lightning speed. Luckily, the chain pierced him just in time and dropped him to the ground. Hero jumped aside, and it was over.

Dead silence filled the room.

Then Hero began to speak. He stared at Mike, a furious look piercing him."Are you insane? Terry almost died because of you, you idiot!"

A brief silence followed.

Then a punch flew toward Hero. His chest plate shattered instantly, and Hero slammed into the wall with full force. Everyone froze in shock.

The punch had come from Mike.

On the wall, a red timer lit up.(In three minutes, you will be teleported to World Three. Good luck, because you will need it!)

The numbers on the timer began to glow red, and every second felt like an eternity.
