The young girl whose name is Ava, whipped her head to glare at her father.

"The problem? Are you seriously asking me that. King Eiravyn just returned, and he brought a human with him. Not only that that human is currently occupying the queen's room. My Room! If that's not a problem I wonder what a problem is?"

Lord Chamberlain merely hummed, "That can't be right my pumpkin, you probably heard a wrong information. King Eiravyn might be rude and imposing, and acted on his instincts, but he cares so much about this kingdom, he would not make a mistake as that." Lord Chamberlain said, brushing off the news almost like his daughter had really gone out of her mind this time, he almost laughed,

"And, besides if a thing as that ever happened I would be the first to know. So, there's nothing to worry about. My sweet pumpkin."before he turned back to his parchment.

Ava felt a sudden rush of frustration, she seemed hysterical as she exclaimed through the room, when she saw that her dad was not paying attention to her.

"Dad! This is not a joke, a maid working in the royal house told me this, it's the truth!" Ava screamed, almost yanking at her head in frustration, she wanted badly to shake her father's shoulder until he saw how real this was.

Ava Rivers is the most eligible spinster in the whole of Dark Shade Kingdom, regarded as the most beautiful in the whole of the vampire kingdom.

Her father is Lord Chamberlain, the senior elder amongst the council members, and her mother is Lady Elara Chamberlain.

Ava had the opportunity to receive her education in one of the most elite colleges in the human realm, and she got an opportunity to explore the world.

She spent her early years in the Dark Shade Kingdom, and spent the last few years in Country Sage, studying home management, and after which she went to the human realm to learn languages and attended schools there.

"He brought a human girl back with him and she's currently staying in the queen's chamber." Lila finished her sentence.

"What!" Ava exclaimed, standing up instantly.

"Why are you just telling me this just now!" She yelled at the maid, as she moved to pick her clothes up from the piles of clothes that was thrown on the ground carelessly.

"When you came into the room, you started…" Lila trailed off, when Ava harshly shut her up.

"Shut that mouth of yours. You should have still told me before things escalated or are you trying to blame me?" Ava asked, while she dressed up abruptly.

"N-no…oh, no, My lady… that was not what I was trying to do." Lila quickly responded while bowing deeply…
