Hellbound With The Vampire King

Chapter 58: The Woman King Eiravyn Brought Back Home

Ava groaned audibly as she moved out of the bed to stand in front it, she ruffled with her clothes trying to wear them on quickly. 'King Eiravyn brought back a human, that can't be right?' She thought.

This kind of a thing had never happened before, he had never brought back any lady to his queen chambers; she had even never stepped foot in the fourth floor of the royal house. She turned to Lila, still naked.

"Are you sure of this? Because if I should find out that you're telling lies, you will be dealt with. So, you better think twice before telling me lies." Ava said angrily as she glared at the maid, who was still lying naked on the bed.

"I'm very sure, My lady. I saw her with my two eyes, he even ordered clothes and accessories for her, I have never seen His Majesty look at any other girl the way he looked at her." Lila said, but it seemed her choice of words had offended Ava greatly because as soon as she finished her sentence, Ava shouted at her.

"Shut that mouth up. I don't want to hear your voice!" Ava screamed. She couldn't believe, it'd been just a few weeks, he left and now he was back with a girl. Ridiculous!

"Arrrghh…"

As Ava was lost in her thought she noticed that Lila's gaze was still fixed on her naked body, her eyes lingering on her small but firm breasts, she could practically see the drool falling from the corner of the maid's lips when her eyes drifted to her bright pink pearling nipples and the tiny patch of hair between her slender thighs.

"And what do you think you're still doing there in the bed?" Ava questioned with a slightly overwhelming tone. "You need to go back to the royal house before the guards noticed you've been gone for a long time." Ava said, but the girl merely blinked at her three times, as if she could not understand anything she was saying.

Ava furrowed her brow, before she remembered something, she quickly brought out a silver small crystal necklace from under her shirt and then turned to the girl,

"You will go back to the royal house, and you must forget everything that happened here." Ava said in a melodious voice, before she kept her necklace back inside her clothes.

Lila nodded, as she dressed, then she left the place quietly, almost too quietly.

Once she was gone, Ava groaned again as she too put on her clothes, while thinking she needed to tell her dad about the human girl before things got out of hands.

She was quite confident in herself that she'd become the next queen as everyone in the kingdom was already treating her like the queen. Well, mostly because she used her siren abilities and persuasion abilities on them but that did not matter, she liked the attention and wanted more of it, there's no way on earth she would allow an ordinary human to take that spot away from her, Ava thought.

But firstly, she needs to confirm if all she'd heard was true, she needed to be sure before she did anything, and most especially she needed a plan if by any chance the news was true. All this would be manageable if only her siren abilities worked on King Eiravyn. Too bad, Ava thought as she walked out of the hotel room.

Ava left the hotel and drove off, heading straight home. There's no way in hell, she'd let a nobody take away something she had worked so hard to build. Leaving the comfort of her home to go to another country just to study in order to become an outstanding queen, just for a human to snatch it away from her, 'it'll never happen.' Ava thought as she drove home.

She returned home and packed her car unceremoniously, flung the car keys at the gatekeeper, before heading straight to her father's study, ignoring the servants' greetings.

Back to the present…

"Dad! You're not listening to me, a maid working in the royal house told me this, it's the truth!" Ava screamed, almost yanking at her head in frustration, she wanted badly to shake her father's shoulders until he understood the gravity of this.

Lord Chamberlain sighed… before eventually placing the parchment on the table, turning to his daughter to listen to her attentively, "If what you said is true, My sweet pumpkin. Then, you have nothing to worry about, as you said she's nothing but a human, by the time King Eiravyn sucks her dry, she will be left to rot in the piles of dead bodies at one corner of the royal house, don't worry it's just a matter of few days." Lord Chamberlain said.

But Ava was still not satisfied, she just couldn't shake this nagging feeling inside of her, If her father was right, then why would he buy gifts for her? King Eiravyn would never buy things for just anyone, let alone ordering a whole boutique for just a girl he wanted to have fun with. This was not the man she knew.

"Father, you have to do something about this, I am confident that he is quite taken with her. I was told he ordered different luxurious brands of clothes for her, which he had never done for me, I know that buying clothes is quite normal for courting women, but I also know King Eiravyn since childhood, and he doesn't court women; he never does.

Lord Chamberlain agreed with this. He also knew from his experience that King Eiravyn doesn't need to show off his wealth in order to get a woman to warm his bed because there are always women who are attracted to status and power… unless King Eiravyn found his fated mate, he wondered as that was the only reason he knew could make the hard-hearted man do all this,he also knew about the prophecy but there's no way a human can be fated to their king. So, he turned to Ava,

""Don't worry, Sweetie… you and only you will be the queen of this kingdom, father will make sure of it. I'm already in talks with…" Just then he heard a beep on his phone, cutting him off.

"Ping! Ping!"

"Hold on a minute, sweetie." He said as he reached for his phone to check who had texted him.

Lord Chamberlain's expression turned sour when he saw an email from the King's aide, Caspian with subject:

[Greetings, esteemed Council members,

By order of His Majesty, We inform you that the next council meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow, 2pm sharp. Your punctual presence is required, as the king shall address the council.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this sudden change.

By command of His Majesty.]

As soon as he finished reading the text message, he turned to his daughter. "I guess your informant might be correct.." he said in a plain voice, deep in thought.

"Well, only one way to find out…" The man's voice trailed off while looking at his phone.
