Serena was about to respond to her, but Aurora continued rambling on, not allowing her to get a word in.

"Yeah me too! This is not my first banquet but I'm already so excited. You know what? His Majesty invited all commoners to attend the banquet this time instead of limiting it with minimum numbers, something that has never happened in a long time… and that mean we the commoners and laborers will be attending…" she said with a very excited voice, swinging her hands here and there as she talked.

Before she turned to Serena with what looked like a graceful flow, she leaned over to her as if she was about to tell Serena a secret, but she didn't lower her voice.

"There's a lot of speculation going on that His Majesty the king plans to reveal his queen tonight. So the maids and servants are all excited…" she paused with a pleasing smile plastered on her face.

"But I am more excited and I'm so eager because all the high-ranking young bachelors will be coming for this banquet, gathered in one place, can you imagine that?" Aurora asked, her eyes glittering with excitement as she turned to face Serena

But Serena did not bother answering her question because she knew the girl was not expecting an answer.

"But you know what my lady, I'm more excited to see the king's royal commander Sir Celrean. He's so dreamy and handsome, have you seen him bare clothed when he trains? Oh my god! His physique is to die for." Aurora said. She had a dreamy look on her face, with her gaze fixed on the ceiling, a silly expression on her face.

Serena laughed at the girl's comic expression, rousing Aurora from her day dreams. She thought Aurora was a very down-to-earth girl with a bubbling personality. She seems like the kind of person to give out information without even realizing what she had done and was the very kind of person she needed right now.

Serena smiled. "But I do think you're very beautiful and any guy would be glad to have a girl like you going crazy about him." She said with a straight face.

"I don't think that would every happen, Sir Celrean never looks at any girl's face. I would be grateful to have him just spare me a glance." Aurora said with a pout when she suddenly gasped. Her eyes widened in realization.

She had forgotten she was speaking to someone of much higher rank, and had blabbered in front of her lady. 'This is what mother and Astrid always warned me about. My worst nightmare had come true.' The girl muttered to herself. She had been so carried away and didn't realized that she was not talking with her fellow servants but to a lady.

Aurora looked repentant as she turned to face Serena, her face sunken. "I apologize my lady. I promise this will never happen again." She said.

"No no please don't be, I think I love your personality. Can you tell me more?"

Aurora's expression was quick to change back to being excited as her whole expression visibly brightened up instantly. "Really?" She asked, feeling doubtful that Serena meant what she said.

Serena hummed and nodded to her. "But first, I'd like to go over to the private louge so we can sit and chat properly." Serena said with a cozy smile.

The servant and the lady duo made their way to the private area with Aurora trailing behind. Serena noticed that no matter where they went, the servants where always two steps behind her.

Serena sat in one of the comfortable chair in the lounge area and gestured for Aurora to sit on the other chair.

"I'm planning on wearing one of my best gowns for the event tonight. Initially I had planned on wearing the gown for the festival coming up six days from now but I'll just have to repeat the dress tonight and on the last day of the festival."

Aurora giggled. "Hopefully I might attract a wealthy merchant if I cannot catch Sir Celrean eyes." Aurora said all this as soon as she sat on the chair beside Serena.

Serena listened to this information when she suddenly remembered that Caspian had told her about a festival on her way to the kingdom. She wondered if it was the same festival.

"Ah, yes! will you be attending the festival?" Aurora suddenly paused her chatterings and asked Serena.

Serena shrugged. She was yet to ask Eiravyn if she was allowed to go.

"Please you should come! If you don't have anyone to go with, you can go with us. We the servants are planning to go in groups you can come with us, I promise you it would be fun. There will be plenty of fun activities you should surely attend it."

Serena sighed. She had a thoughtful look on her face, as she glanced over Aurora's excited face. "Hmm… I have not had a conversation with His Majesty." Serena finally responded.

"Why do you need His Majesty permission on this, you should come with us please." Aurora tried to persuade her, making a cute little pout.

Serena was caught in a dilemma. It looked like they did not know she would soon become their queen. She thought but eventually decided to keep it that way, wanting to surprise her.

Serena had a defeated look on her face as she finally nodded, aggreing to go with the girls.

Aurora grinned wildly, "I'm sure you would be the first to catch the eyes of a wealthy merchant…" she commented, looking over Serena's appearance.

Serena didn't get it. "What?"

Aurora giggled. "Never mind…" the servant leaned down to whisper in Serena's ear, her voice dropping to a low octave.

"There's a rumor going around that His Majesty the king finally found is mate and would be revealing her tonight at the banquet while some are saying that His Majesty probably got tired of waiting for his mate and wants to announce Lady Ava Rivers as his queen. But I pray desperately for that to never happen because she's a very despicable…" Aurora's voice trailed off

But Serena could no longer understand a word she was saying as all she could hear and think of was what Aurora just said now. 'Ava Rivers.' Who is Ava Rivers? And how come I'm just hearing of her now.

"Who is Ava Rivers?" Serena suddenly asked making Aurora stop mid sentence.
