"Now. Let me show you the true extent of Chaos Control."

Mater floated to the air and formed a ball of Chaos inside his paws. Then his front legs stretched to either side, exploding the thick red Chaos to the entire house. The small house expanded.

The floor multiplied itself. The roof went higher. Everything became bigger.

"Holy…" Selina widened her eyes.

The black cat created a pure Chaos fist in its small pawn. And then it slammed to the stretched floor.

A giant hole was created in the middle of the house.

"Stop, Mater! You're going to destroy the whole neighborhood!" Selina shouted.

The black cat waved its paw dismissively. "Don't worry. This is purely temporary."

Mater pulled all the Chaos back into him and everything returned to normal.

Selina was holding her clothes in front of her like a damsel in distress. Her wide eyes caused Mater to smirk arrogantly.

"Cool, huh?" The black cat's deep voice echoed.

Selina nodded.

"Wanna learn?"

Selina nodded like a chicken.

"Chaos can bend the rules of the universe. That is its core and only function. Mastering Chaos means you can do anything. Take flight into the sky or even phase through solid matter.

But of course, those are much more advanced ways of using Chaos. Chaos Tentacles, Chaos Flesh, and Chaos Control cannot do this. Only a more meticulous form of Chaos can.

Forms like spells. Or in your case, psionics."

"Oh! I heard about that before. Psionics are Psychic Skills, right?" Selina raised her hand like a student.

Mater nodded. "Or more precisely. A higher form of Psychic Skill. The Institute should teach you about it soon."

"How do you even know about all of this, Mater?"

The black cat stroked its whiskers arrogantly. "Nothing can hide from my eyes."

The truth was he didn't know anything about Psychics. All of that was knowledge he hacked from the internet, the ACPD database and the Institute.

"Now. Here is how you learn Chaos Control."

Under Mater's guidance, Selina started to channel her Chaos.

Being naked was just an idea that Mater thought of. But it wasn't entirely false either. Without any clothes, Selina was able to observe the Chaos that she exuded through her body.

Psychic's Psycho Force came from the head and started to flow all over the body. It was different from Warlock where their entire blood vessels were their Chaos Singularity, or Chaos Circuit in Warlock terms.

They wasted a few hours practicing and soon, Selina was able to form a red Chaos Sphere in her hand. Her Psycho Force was different from everyone else. It had a visible red color of dark magic, not the colorful Negative Emotional Spectrum.

Selina pushed the Chaos Sphere to the new table she just bought. The table stretched out and became twice as long.

"I did it!" Selina said in excitement.

Mater clapped his paws slowly. "Very nice. Now you just need to practice until you can carve out a hole in someone's chest."

Selina suddenly got close to the black cat. Too close. Which startled the black cat and caused him to crawl back to the corner of the couch.

"What are you doing?" The black cat's wide eyes looked at her. He now truthfully looked like an innocent kitty.

She bent down slightly which allowed him to observe her very closely and all the other things beneath.

Selina picked up the black cat and seductively said, "Why do you hesitate now, you perverted cat?"

"Ain't nobody hesitate!" The black cat shook its head and raised its biceps, which it had none.

Selina chuckled cheerfully. She kissed the black cat on the cheeks.

"Thank you for everything."

The black cat went serious and stopped joking.

"Are you okay?" The black cat's deep voice echoed.

"I am. It's just… I have been alone for a long time. I have friends and people I hang around with. But it just isn't the same as family.

You were always there for me, Mater. You appeared in my fridge when I was at the bottom. I didn't know what to do. You showed me the way. You helped me become a real PI.

I found some clues about my parents. I even become more powerful and don't even need to worry about money anymore.

I am really grateful."

The black cat listened to her in silence and did not jump in. He waited for her to finish.

Then he said, "I know, Selina. I know. Since the first night I know this world is too harsh for you. But don't worry, I will bear all the weights for you. I will protect you."

Selina smiled. She whispered to his ears. "Tell me truly, you perverted cat. Can you transform into a human?"

Mater nodded. "One day."

"Then one day. I will be yours." Selina mumbled. Her cheeks were as red as the sky.

Mater's ears perked up. The black cat's golden eyes stared at her without blinking.

"And you know what?" Selina said.

"What…" Mater purred in happiness.

"I don't mind if you have other women." Selina slowly said each word.

Mater's head snapped. His jaw dropped.

"As long as I am the first lady and your queen."

The black cat smiled deviously. "Don't worry, Señorita."

The black cat used its small paw to lift her chin slightly. "You will be my dark queen. And I will be the dark lord. We shall rule this world."

The black cat and Selina laughed manically. The goth girl had contracted his delusional mentality for god knew how long.

Their laughter woke Aurora up briefly. She opened her eyes on the Ice Throne.

"Master and the lady are at it again…" Aurora mumbled. Sometimes she felt like she was the only normal one in the entire group. For now…

In the underground crypt, Chaos went over Crow's body and extended its power. His level had shot up by one. He didn't learn any new spells or gain any new abilities, but his Chaos Well and overall attributes had increased.

For some reason, the dark tree collected even more memories from Aaron Cage and fed it to him. He learned more combat techniques and gained even more fighting experience.

Crow saw an image flashed in his mind. It was the last moment of Aaron Cage. He was shot.

"It's our moral obligation, Vic." Aaron uttered his last words as he was shot by his partner.

Crow's white eyes appeared on the dark tree.
