The police car stopped at the start of the street. Looking down on the path, a lonely luxurious mansion could be seen.

"How are you able to find out where he is? I don't even know." Lucy said.

"I have my ways." Selina said. "Speak your last words, Carpenter."

"Are you going to kill me?"

"Depends on what you're going to say."

Lucy bit her lips. She looked straight ahead, eyes stayed fixed on the empty road.

"Oh? You know more than you're saying Lucy. If you really value your life, you should tell me everything." Selina said.

Lucy took a deep breath before answering, "There are forces. Forces in this world that want to create NCEs."

"Those harmful wraith? Aren't they just pure destructive? Why does someone want to create them?" Selina said.

"Because they can be used as weapons, darling." The black cat's deep voice echoed. It sat on the car window grooming itself.

She grabbed Aurora's wrist and tried to disarm her. But Aurora didn't move. She was unmovable and cold like an iceberg.

"You aren't a human?!" Lucy widened her eyes.

Crow's shadow hands reached out from the hood of the car and grabbed Lucy from behind. One hand on her chin and one hand behind her head. He snapped her neck smoothly with her face ending up behind her.

Lucy's eyes opened wide. She didn't even register her death before it had happened.

The lifeless body slumped on the car seat.

Selina sighed deeply. "She helped me a lot in the beginning. I can't believe she was that kind of person."

"Everyone in this game for themself, darling. You can't trust anyone entirely."

Mater admired his smooth coat in the side mirror.

"Except me, of course."

Selina picked the black cat up and placed it on her lap. "I know. Hehe."

Mater flicked his paw. Bash's large body jumped out of the Dark Grimoire and landed heavily on the empty street. Crow jumped out from the shadow of the car and stood beside Bash.

"Get rid of everyone inside." The black cat meowed.

Crow bowed deeply then disappeared from sight. Bash rushed to the mansion.

"Is it alright for us to attack? From what we learned, that house belongs to the prince of Zakharov. They are a very influential family." Selina said.

Levy wasn't actually a prince. It was only a saying because he was the only heir of the all powerful and wealthy house Zakharov.

"Of course. They hurt us. It is right that we repay in kind. Only a fool would stand there and take everything." The black cat purred while rubbing his face at Selina's soft neck. Her scent was extra alluring.

Levy was reading Selina's profile on his computer.

"Selina Isles? Daughter of Thomas Isles and Iris Sordenfield. I heard this name somewhere..."

Levy typed rapidly on the keyboard. The information of Iris Sordenfield popped up on his screen.

"A PHANTOM? No wonder why that girl messed up my Embryos. She was probably trained by her mother. Those mercenaries couldn't keep up with her.

Ugh. These despicable government hounds..."

Suddenly, Levy felt a pressure on his chest. For Psychics, a hunch was not something to ignore. It was always a warning coming from their power.

Levy was trying to figure out who had the potential to harm him. He thought that maybe some of the other Houses might want to cause him trouble in the academy. Or maybe grandfather was disappointed in him.

He didn't realize that the threat was close by. Extremely close.

Levy's heart dropped a beat as he looked down. Crow emerged from the floor and drove the purple spear right at his throat.

Levy arched backward, avoiding the sharp edge of the spear by millimeters. His right palm opened wide and aimed at Crow.

"Kinetic Blast!"

An invisible force shot out and sent Crow flying to the wall. He rolled in mid-air and landed smoothly on the vertical wall. The furniture was flipped upside down because of the collision.

Levy squinted his eyes. "Who sent you?"

Crow didn't answer. He seeped under the floor and merged with the shadow of the mansion.

Levy pulled a bracelet on his wrist. It snapped in two. That was a unique bracelet that would alarm his grandfather and the bodyguards in the mansion.

The lights in the mansion all turned red. Men in black suits rushed inside.

"Young master!"

The group of men ran toward Levy. Suddenly, the wall next to them was torn apart. A large creature bashed through the wall and crushed all the body guards in its way.

It was a creature with red skin and white bony armor on its body.

"Kill!"

Bash tapped his chest then charged at Levy.

Levy clasped his hands together.

"Kinetic Barrier!"

A semi-transparent forcefield appeared around Levy. That was useless in front of Bash.

The Infernal Demon busted through the forcefield and slammed at Levy.

Levy had just finished reinforced his body with a technique similar to Chaos Flesh. But that was also not enough to prepare him for the gigantic force of Bash.

Levy was sent flying from the beginning to the end of the hallway. His body slammed heavily on the wall. The cracking noise of his bone echoed. Blood flooded out of his mouth.
