The lifeless body of Levy fell on the floor. His red blood soaked the white dress of Aurora.

She trembled in place. The lines on her body shined brighter than ever before.

"Are you okay, Aurora?" Mater flew closer to her.

"I feel like a weight in my body has been lifted off, Master. I need the Glacial Shrine." Aurora said.

The black cat chuckled. "You just settled a score of your past life, my dear servant. It has given you more power to advance. I will prepare Chaos Spheres for you to reach level 10."

"Thank you, Master." Aurora bowed her head deeply.

"Come on. Let's see if we can find anything valuable in this place or any useful information. Split up."

"Yes, Master." Aurora and Crow spoke in unison.

Bash stood guard at the entrance to make sure no one showed up.

"We don't have a lot of time. Make it quick." Mater meowed.

The trio quickly went over the entire mansion, looking for anything valuable.

Crow found a small chest inside Levy's bedroom. It was hidden inside a small compartment of the wardrobe. Crow used the Nether Spear to chop the chest open. Inside were countless rectangular sticks with a smooth black surface.

"These are... mobile credits."

Mobile credit was also known as black money. These weren't credits registered in the digital world of this country but instead, isolated credits that could be used by anyone. They were a form of untraceable money.

"There must be a few millions inside. Master and the lady will be very happy when they see this."

Crow grabbed the chest then continued with his search.

Aurora used her ice pillar to dig into the basement. The basement had all kinds of insects inside. Disgusting and smelly insects.

Aurora asked Mater what to do with these insects and the black cat told her to destroy them all.

Bash jumped down briefly and rushed into the pool of insects. Hellfire spread unconstrained and burned every single one of them within minutes.

Bash returned to his guard position and Aurora continued her search.

Mater went to Levy's computer and checked if he was inside any internal network.

The black cat found a hidden database and system belonging to House Zakharov. Inside were countless secret knowledge and valuable information.

Mater secretly placed a backdoor inside the network similar to how he had done to the ACPD network.

Inside the network, he also found Aurora's previous identity. "Alice Rosenberg… So that's who she was. I should tell Aurora about this."

Once he finished, everyone regrouped.

Apart from the chest of credits, Crow found a few particular items with Chaos inside it.

A wooden ring finger. This was in the same set with the previous fingers. It was a Chaos storage.

An iron helmet with Chaos inside. This was a spiritual Chaos-filled item. Similar to the pocket watch and Samuel's metal device.

Aurora found unique gemstones with different colors. She didn't know what they were but there were Chaos inside them. A red gem. A blue gem. And a yellow gem.

"Let's get out of here."

The group got out of the place before sunrise.

Bash jumped back into the Dark Grimoire. Mater burned the bloody clothes on Aurora with Hellfire Pit then she jumped into the Dark Grimoire as well.

Mater then swallowed the Dark Grimoire and stored it inside his stomach. Crow turned into a large vulture and carried the black cat out of the crime scene.

People would be questioning what had happened here. Mater was not yet ready to face repercussions with this world's rulers yet.

That was why he told Selina to go to the police station before this happened to create an alibi for her.

Mater and Crow flew back to the police station where Selina had used a spare room to spend the night there.

When Alister asked, she simply said that she felt safer in the police station. As for Lucy. She always disappeared from time to time so he didn't even bother asking.

Half an hour later.

Mikael and his men arrived at the mansion. The old man trembled in place when he saw the state of the mansion. It was destroyed beyond recognition.

People helped him walk inside. Then the old man slammed his walking stick on the ground when he saw Levy.

The stick carved out a circular hole around Mikael, pushing all his men away. A dense Psycho Force spread all around him, making the air feel like bricks.

"My grandson."

Was Mikael sad? No. He was only mad. As useless as Levy was, he was still his heir. The only heir left of house Zakharov. The other one had already abandoned this family.

On Mikael's shoulder was the future of House Zakharov, but it ended here. It ended because his grandson had got himself killed.

Mikael quickly calmed down. His thoughts raced fast.

"Could this be Sordenfield?"

A PHANTOM was unique. It wasn't purely a symbol of power but also influence. There would be people out there getting ready to kill for a PHANTOM.

Mikael knew Selina's identity as well. He also knew of the failed assassination attempt of Levy but only after it was completed.

He told Levy to stay out of it. A PHANTOM wasn't someone you messed with. Even when they're missing. They had the government back them off and countless powerful Psychics as their comrades.

Mikael took a deep breath and looked above Levy.

His headless corpse was impaled through a steel coil.

"Stupid grandson. I told you not to do anything."

Mikael approached the corpse and fixed Levy's clothes. "You just didn't want to listen to me. With your head exploding, I can't even raise you as a spirit."

It was at this time that his men returned from searching the surrounding area.

"We found something, sir!"

"What?" Mikael's brow furrowed.

They went to the police car parked nearby. Lucy's body was still inside.

"She is... The daughter..." Mikael mumbled.

Lucy's head was snapped backwards but her brains and skull intact. An idea immediately popped up inside Mikael's head.

"There is no other way. She isn't pure blood but she is still Zakharov. The lineage of Zakharov lives on! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Mikael couldn't hold in his laughter.

He turned to his men. "Take this body. Be extra careful with it. If something happened to it, I would have all of your heads!"

"Yes, sir!"
