Mater and Selina jumped to her computer to check on the Bronze Rank Bounties List. Now that Selina was no longer an Iron Rank Hunter, continuing to go after those bounties would result in much less reward than before.

The government did this to ensure that higher ranked hunters wouldn't take everything for themselves.

Bronze Rank introduced the goth girl and the black cat to a wider range of bounties. Iron Rank usually only had bounties of the city they were assigned at. For Selina, it was the areas around Aeliz City.

Bronze Rank had bounties everywhere around the country. When Selina looked at the location of the bounties, she understood why Bronze Rank had a wider operation range.

Even in Aeliz City, there were only under a hundred active Bronze Bounties at the moment. It was pretty safe compared to everywhere else and was categorized with Normal threat level.

Other cities and towns, with higher threat level, had much more Bronze Bounties.

The black cat grabbed the mouse and scrolled through the Bronze Bounties. He didn't like any bounties in Aeliz City at all. Most of them had a lot of Hunters following the case. They would surely affect his works and might even expose his secret.

Mater had Aurora and Crow as both of his heavy hitters. He himself also used very different ways of attacking than the average Psychics. He couldn't be sure that they wouldn't be suspicious.

With the presence of other Hunters, killing and harvesting the Chaos from the wraith would also be more difficult.

Mater ignored the cases in Aeliz City and looked at the case in the surrounding area. He quickly found a case that he'd really like.

"Underwater NCE in Onoke Swamp.

Bounty Rank: Bronze

Case Description: Regular deaths happen in the Onoke Swamp. The usual cause of death was drowning. DSI and the local Police Department encountered the NCE many times. However, it is very tricky to catch or neutralize it.

Related Information: Confirmed NCE existence. Fish-like, half human, half fish. Usually appears in dusk.

Location: Onoke Swamp, Ines Sota.

Objective: Catch, neutralize, or exorcise the related NCE.

Reward: 20,000 credits - 50 tokens.

"How about this one?" Mater meowed and pointed to the screen.

"Ines Sota? That town is pretty far from Aeliz City. We would need to buy a coach ticket or rent a car." Selina said.

"We need none of that! Let's buy a motorcycle!" Mater meowed loudly.

Selina had around 19,500 credits with some change. It was more than enough money to buy her a motorcycle.

They got ready and went to the nearest motorcycle shop in Aeliz City.

When they walked inside, the hungry eyes of the sellers immediately jumped to Selina. A lot of them stood up and approached her.

"What do you need to buy, Miss?"

"May I walk you around to see the place?"

"Are you a new buyer or an experienced one?"

The vultures surrounded Selina. Mater hissed at them aggressively. The goth girl squinted her eyes. She didn't trust every single one of them.

Selina was about to turn around and find another dealership when a short senior man around his 50s approached the vultures. He held the newspapers in his hand and waved at the sellers dismissively.

"Get away. Shoo! Shoo! You're scaring our customer away!"

The vultures dissipated.

The old man turned around and smiled gently at Selina. "Please accept my apology for those kids. They are all new."

Selina scanned the man from top to toe. He was a well-dressed man in a tailored suit with a bald head. The only hair he had was around his ears. But it didn't seem ugly at all, instead it added an endearing and friendly attitude to him.

"It's alright. My name is Selina. I would like to buy a motorcycle." Selina said.

"A pleasure to meet you, Miss Selina. You can call me Ike. Before I take you to go see the bikes, tell me what kind of bike you want.

A new one or a used one. City use or dirt road. Short distance or long distance. Everyday use or travelling." The man spoke in a calm, reassuring tone. He seemed like he knew everything about motorcycles.

Selina rubbed her chin and tilted her head in deep thoughts. She needed a vehicle to travel around in the city and also used it to go to Ines Sota. It must be durable for sure and had enough of a gas can for long distance travelling.

"I need one that I can use both in the city and on long journeys. It's best if it can run on both asphalt and dirt."

"A bit of everything, huh? Each type of motorcycle offers a different experience. There is not a single one that can do everything. Let me introduce you to the ranges we have and you can decide which one you like." The short man said.

"That would be great." Selina smiled.

"First. Let's look at the standard one."

Ike led Selina to see one of their offered motorcycles. It was a bike with minimal bodywork, no fairings or windshields with their engine exposed to the outside world.

"This is what we called a standard bike. It's light and easy to handle. A good one for new riders as it is very easy to use, especially in city traffic."

Seeing that Selina didn't respond too fondly about it, Ike led her to a second bike. A bike with a low seat and a long stretched-out wheelbase.

"This is what we called the classic cruiser. It is very good for the highway and city, but a no-no if you want to take it off road."

Selina shook her head again.

"Alright. Let's see the third one." Ike was infinitely patient and led her through many types of motorcycle inside the dealership.

The sellers gathered in a corner to observe Ike guiding her.

"That girl is super hot." One man said.

"Shi-i-i-i-i-i-t. Look at that ass." Another commented.

"Ike is being extremely patient with her. Do you guys think she's going to buy anything?" Another said.

"Doubt it. Goth girls like her always want to ride motorcycles. But whether or not she had the money..."

"Why do I feel like that cat is staring at us?"

Ike introduced Selina to many types of motorcycles. The first two were standard and cruiser. Then he showed her a touring bike which was very good on the highway but not good at all on the city or dirt road.

The next was the dual sport, an excellent off-road vehicle but is very uncomfortable for long journeys. The last was a scooter, which did not have any durability for a long journey at all.

Then they stopped at the ADV, Adventure Motorcycle.

"This is the ADV. It is the best single motorcycle for the widest range of riding.

But it is very tall and heavy. It might be a bit troublesome to park and go around in the city.

It can go off-road but because of its heavy weight, if you drop it. It will be very difficult to pick it up.

If you can ignore all those issues, this might be the motorcycle for you."

"Oh!" Mater's and Selina's eyes all sparkled when they saw the motorcycle.
