"I'm Brooke. What kind of room would you like, honey?" The front desk was an old woman with a nice smile and curly white hair.

"Um... I want a room for four. It would be best if we have two beds." Selina said.

"Four? Where the hell are the other two?" Mater meowed in questions.

Selina whispered to his ears. "Aurora and Crow need to have a place to sleep too."

"Eh. They aren't human. They don't really need sleep." Mater rolled his eyes.

He disagreed with Selina's opinion but he would let her do what she wanted. After all, one couldn't be too strict on their woman.

"A quadruple room, yeah? We have just the thing for you, honey. It will be 120 credits a night. We also have a bigger studio with more beds with the rate of 200 credits per night. Which one do you like, honey? The quad or the studio?" Brooke picked up two sets of keys and placed them on the table.

"A quad is fine, Brooke. Thank you."

"Alright. Payment upfront, please."

Selina settled the payment for the room and went into it.

The room was rather spacious with two beds near the farthest wall, away from the entrance door. It had a small bathroom which any family that used this room would have to take turns in using. But Selina was the only human there so this issue was non-existent.

"Let's call them out, Mr. Mater!" Selina jumped on the bed.

"Alright."

The black cat flicked his claw. The Dark Grimoire flew out of Selina's backpack. Aurora and Crow jumped out from the book.

"Eek! Look away, Crow!" Selina covered Crow's eyes and spun him around. "Mater! You can't let men see Aurora like that!"

"Eh... Again. She is an undead and Crow is an abomination. They're both my servants. It should be fine." Mater meowed.

Crow tipped his fedora. "It's alright, Master. We might not be human but we should follow basic decency to adhere to this society more. It is also what Miss Isles wants."

Mater climbed onto Crow's shoulder and observed his white eyes.

Crow was much more expressive than before. There was a certain aura about him. Not magical or supernatural aura. But personality aura. He had a certain type of... righteousness and darkness in him.

"What did you really see in Aaron Cage's memory, Crow?" Mater meowed.

"I saw the way he lived, Master. And the way he died. He fought for what is right, even though it cost him the relationship with his daughter.

It made me feel..."

"Yes?" Mater observed Crow with a smile.

"Conviction." Crow blurted out.

"Interesting..." Mater squinted his eyes.

"Alright. We're done." Selina had finished dressing up Aurora.

The day had passed and it was currently night so Selina put a sleeping pajama on Aurora's cold skin.

The goth girl breathed out a cloud of white smoke purely because she stood too close with Aurora.

"You really are cold." Selina said.

Aurora raised her hands up and looked at her cute little white pajama.

"It felt nice." Aurora said.

"I'm glad you like it." Selina smiled.

"Alright. You two sleep on this bed. Me and Selina on that bed." Mater meowed. Crow communicated his words to Selina.

"No way! We can't let Aurora sleep with Crow. She's a woman." Selina held Aurora tightly. She tried her best to hold it in but the cold made her entire body shiver.

"Don't worry, Miss Isles. That won't be a problem." Crow spun and transformed into a crow on the bed. "I will just stay like this for the night."

"Woah! You look so cute." Selina grabbed Crow and petted his small bird head.

"Hello. Can we finally sleep now?"

The night went on as Mater jumped on Selina's body and hugged her to sleep while Crow and Aurora were on the other bed.

Crow and Aurora didn't sleep though. They only closed their eyes and minimized their Chaos usage. Their senses were still on and stayed alert at all times, protecting Mater and Selina.

Words spread out in the town that a beautiful goth girl was visiting. People questioned what her purpose here was and the rest was mostly gossip.

The next day. Selina and Mater got ready to tackle the bounty. The goth girl put on a survival camo outfit with tough waterproof boots for comfort. She gave Aurora a similar set of clothes but a little more revealing because Aurora didn't mind being cold or affected by nature elements.

"Give her the gun, Crow." Mater said.

"Yes, Master." Crow pulled out the small revolver that he had taken from Lucas in the diner along with the available bullets.

"Master wants you to have this. It is for protection."

Selina grabbed the gun, feeling its cold metal and weight in her hand. "I don't really know how to use this."

"From what I've seen on the internet, just aim and shoot, woman." Mater meowed.

Crow stayed as a bird and flew out of the room. He stayed on top of the sky and provided a broad bird's-eye view of the area around.

Then, Selina, Mater, and Aurora left the room. Mater stayed on top of Selina's shoulders.

When they left the motel, Brooke saw them walking out and was a little surprised.

"When did that girl enter the room?" She questioned it but just shrugged the matter away. She thought Aurora just entered the motel when she was distracted.

The trio was especially striking. Aurora with her unique snow white hair and Selina with her pure black hair. Their camo outfit made them look like some type of characters walking out from a comic book.

They went to the local law enforcer building to gather more details about the wraith.

Ines Sota didn't have a police station or its own police department. Instead, they had a Sheriff's Office.

Selina pushed the door of the office open and walked in. Aurora stayed outside since she wasn't a person with identification. If they asked about her document, it would be a bit difficult to explain.

The deputy at the front desk looked up.

"Oh? You're an unfamiliar face. How can I help you, Miss?" The deputy stood up.

Selina pulled out her Bronze Ankh and showed the deputy.

"My name is Selina Isles. I am here for the bounty in Onoke Swamp."

Suddenly, the deputy drew his gun and aimed it at Selina.

"Another imposter? You guys have been fooling around too much lately."

Selina raised her hands in response. "There must be some kind of misunderstanding, officer. I am a Bounty Hunter of the Aeliz City Police Department."
