Contrary to the Abyssal Seal, the Infernal Seal made everything brighter and hotter. The air became dry like it belonged in the desert.

Timothy was bringing the trash outside when he saw the scorching sun in the sky. It was surprisingly bright and hot. He tried to look up only to be blinded by it instantly.

Sheriff Carter was drinking his afternoon tea when he heard loud bangs after loud bangs outside the office.

He shot up from the chair, grabbed his gun and ran outside. Deputy Ethan and a few others followed him.

They thought someone was shooting at the Sheriff's Office. But it wasn't the noise of a gun.

The tires of all their cars exploded one after another. The air became too hot that it caused them to explode. A plastic green trash can melted and leaned over.

Ethan reached his hands out into the sun and immediately stepped back.

"What is going on? This is just too hot!"

Sheriff Carter looked up to the sky. Thanks to his shades, he could observe the sun. It looked like it was visibly burning.

Back at the Chaos Ritual, a new red seal had appeared in the sky.

It had the symbol of fire with three spikes aiming straight up in the middle.

The Infernal Seal floated to Mater and hovered slightly above his paw.

"Come, my servant. Join me as my eternal servant."

The Seal split into two identical symbols. Mater pushed the Slave Signet into the Chaos Ritual while he kept the Master Signet.

When the Slave Signet landed on the Chaos Ritual, the entire pattern immediately lit up on Hellfire.

From the ritual, screams of anguish and moans of despair let out. The souls of the deceased became visible. They were the people that he had killed yesterday.

All of their souls got sucked into the Infernal Seal. And then, the Crimson Hood appeared. He was a little bit farther from the rest but was also pulled over.

They were pushed into one violently by the Ritual.

The eight Chaos Stones lit up brightly, constantly flowing out Chaos into the Infernal Seal.

A new demon was being born.

Flesh born out of the Chaos Ritual. Hellfire shot up and transformed into a vortex. The Infernal Seal acted as its heart and root for the new demon.

Then it walked out from the flaming vortex. A three-meter high red and white demon.

Its skin was as red as blood with white bony plates sticking on the surface acting as natural armor. It was very broad with a muscular and bulky frame. Its eyes were a mix of black background and one small dot of yellow.

The demon had a round head with a white bone layer wrapping around it.

The demon approached Mater and kneeled down before the black cat.

"Your wish is my command, Master."

The black cat nodded. "From this day on, you are Bash."

"Bash is your eternal servant, Master."

Mater nodded his head.

Selina approached the black cat to admire the new demon.

"He looks mean as hell." Selina said.

The cat stroked his whiskers. "That's the point."

"Why do you name him Bash though?"

"Cause I want him to bash things."

Selina chuckled gently. "Can't argue with that."

The black cat flicked his paw and called the Dark Grimoire over.

"Let's see if I can store a mix of wraith and demon. Jump inside, Bash."

The black hole appeared and pulled Bash inside successfully.

The reason Mater used a Birthing Ritual instead of a Summoning Ritual was because he thought that a wraith was more convenient. Page of Imprisonment could only store specters and undead, a demon wasn't one of those two.

His theory proved to be true as Bash had no problem getting inside the Dark Grimoire.

[Description]: A demon born out of the souls of cultists. Its past was wiped clean, leaving only eternal loyalty to its one and only Master.

- Charge: A simple and ordinary charge. It is twice as fast when charging.

- Jump: A simple and ordinary jump. It can jump three times higher than it normally can.

[Passive Abilities]:

- Hellfire Skin: Those who hurt it with melee attack shall be repulsed with hellfire.

- Bone Armor: It has a natural exoskeleton that raises its resistance to all damage types.

- Demonic Body: It has resistance to all negative effects.

- Demonic Brute: It passively heals itself over time.

The black cat pouted its lips and whistled high.

"Now this is a fucking tank! Hahahahaha!" The cat laughed deviously.

The black cat closed the Dark Grimoire. Unlike Aurora and Mater, Bash couldn't be seen in broad daylight. His appearance was just too gruesome-looking. So Mater kept him inside page 16th.

The black cat turned to Selina. "I am ready to get that fish wraith. You're ready?"

After hearing Aurora's translation, Selina nodded.

"We have nothing to do anyway. Let's finish the target and go home."

Mater climbed on Selina's shoulder. They got on the motorcycle and drove to the Onoke Swamp.

Crow flew in front to scout the area.

Around that time, a convoy black sleek cars entered Ines Sota. They stopped in front of the Sheriff's Office.

A man in a black suit walked out of the car and quickly went to the other side. He opened the door and bowed deep.

"We've arrived, Mr. Mostovoi."

A man stepped out of the vehicle. He wore sunglasses and a blue slick suit that stuck to his skin.

"I have arrived." Mateo spoke softly. He had white smooth skin with a full beard on his chin.

Sheriff Carter walked outside and stared at the man.

"You are…"

Mateo chuckled and laughed. He shook his head while removing his sunglasses.

"Very funny. Very funny, old man. People acted like they knew me all the time. You're the first that pretended to not know me."

"I really don't know who you are."

"Come on, man. No need to be shy. It's me. I am the famous Diver of the Atlas Seven.

I came here to deal with that NCE for you. Where's the Sheriff?"

"I am the Sheriff." Carter said.

Mateo overreacted and clapped his hands in joy. "Of course. That hat. That white beard. Classic sheriff vibe. You play your role very well, old man."

'Who is this idiot?' Carter thought silently.

"Are you a Bounty Hunter?"

"It's really not that funny anymore, Sheriff. Yes, I'm a Bounty Hunter. A Silver Hunter mind you. I'm here to deal with that NCE in Onoke Swamp.

The DSI picked me personally for this mission."

Mateo winked at Carter which caused the old sheriff to shiver in disgust.

"So… Where is this NCE?"
