Elena didn't want to affect others with her fight and also didn't want to be affected by others so at the very beginning of the hostility, she used various kinds of techniques to go far away from others. She did it without alerting the dragon.

For this battle Elena came in prepared. Even tho she was not wearing her absolute strongest equipment and she was also not going to use her broken titles, other than that she had to use her full force while facing this opponent. If Elena used any of the swords that she regularly took out while she was in the Myrilia Kingdom, then that weapon would not be able to even leave a scratch on this dragon.

The elves that accompanied her were all fully geared up. They did not pose the strength to face off against even a single opponent, even after teaming up together. So, they were actually going to work alongside Ariana who should face off against two Apocalyptic Monsters alone.

Elena trusted mount, the divine dragon, Celeste would fight the last remaining Apocalyptic Monster alone. She was actually going to fight against the strongest one among the three lackeys, the World Devouring Worm, Joitoi.

Actually, both of Elena's summons were restricting themselves to be below level 3000 for this battle. After Elena used the evolved version of the life magic, creation concept magic to make high level life forms above level 4000 and then sever their connection with her in order to make those beings able to give Elena and her summons experience points to raise their levels. And that was how all of her summons were now close to level 4000 except her four new editions.

But, in this battle Ariana and Celeste both are going to only use the strength of a level 2200 and level 2800 being. The reason for that was simple. They wanted to prove themselves in front of Elena. It was not like Elena stopped trusting them or anything but now Elena herself was capable of creating creatures far stronger than them with a snap of her fingers.

So, was there any need for Elena to still have them as her summons ? That was the question every summon had. And Elena guessed that they were feeling like this but she did not comfort them or disparage them but instead said -

"You all have stayed with me for a long time and we all are going to stay together for a long time to come. All of you are special with special abilities and talents that I can't reproduce with my creation magic. So just become more special, become able to defeat stronger opponents and you all will not feel like this anymore."

That was why they were trying to defeat these so-called Apocalyptic Monsters while having lower levels than them.

Celeste did not have the capacity to hold back in this battle against an Apocalyptic Monster so she wanted to go all out from the beginning. She took on her true dragon form which was several kilometers long. It was a pure white dragon western dragon with prismatic dragon scales. Its golden draconic eyes were shining with both intelligence and ferocity. Any normal monster would be affected by that look and would not be able to unleash their full strength.

But the World Devouring Worm was not a normal monster but an Apocalyptic monster. So it had no effect on him. This monster was strongest when it fought up close and personal so it wasted no time minimising the distance between him and Celeste.

Even tho Celeste was not particularly a close quarters fighter, as a dragon she had one of the strongest physiques in the universe. So she was not scared of fighting this worm head on. But as soon as they started to exchange blows Celeste found that something was wrong. This monster had a very tough defence that even Celeste with her draconic strength was unable to break.

Not only that but the World Devouring Worm's teeth were sharp enough to penetrate her divine dragon scales to hurt her. So she didn't force herself to fight it in close quarters anymore and tried to create some distance between them.

But the Worm was obviously not willing to let her gain distance. So it used a taunt skill and tried to force Celeste for a close quarters fight. As Celeste was lower level than the Worm at that moment she was unable to block the taunt skill.

So she finally started using her real skills which made her Elena's partner. She was mainly a light elemental dragon. She could use all the elements but those elements would have a holy effect accompanying it. For example, any fire that she produced would always be holy fire.

So she covered her whole body with purification divine light. This light could ignore defence and would deal true damage to the enemy. Even tho the amount of damage would not be very high, it was still enough.

Then Celeste summoned the Auspicious Winds to surround her which would deal an area of effect damage to all her enemies. And when she came close to the Worm, this time she did not just use her physical body to strike but used a skill called "Radiant Holy Claw" which was able to penetrate the World Devouring Worm's defence to really hurt it.

Then the Worm also got serious and used the skill for which it was most well known for, "Planetary Devouring". Its effect was instantaneous as the Auspicious Winds got swallowed up. But Celeste's expression did not change at all and she used this chance when the worm was busy eating her skills to create some distance between them.

As soon as she was able to create enough distance she started to charge her strongest attack, her dragon's breath. This move was enough to attract the worm's attention as it felt a lot of threat from this attack. So it instantly stopped the devouring process and once again tried to close the distance between them to stop her from charging the breath anymore. But how could Celeste allow it to come close to her.

Her body vibrated and her prismatic scales fell off. All the scales then turned into either super sharp or super destructive and attacked the worm continuously. From the very beginning of the battle Celeste was continuously using her Draconic Eye of Disintegration but it was having no effect due to the World Devouring Worm's high defect. But now, some of her scales had a special function of lowering the defence in the affected part and due to that reason, her eyes started to slowly affect the Worm.

While charging her breath, she also prepared several long range attacks to constantly harass it. After some time she was ready to use the dragon's breath but she did not use it immediately. What was ready was only the initial form of her breath, which would be insufficient to finish this tenacious worm off.

So she started to overload her breath. She wanted to make it at least strong enough to land a fetal blow on the worm in just one shot. Even while she was doing everything in her power to maintain distance between them, this Worm's devouring powers were really incredible. She even tried to use this devouring to hurt the inside of this monster, but anything it devoured instantly got refined so her plan was not successful.

But the Worm was now getting scared. It was having a very bad premonition. So, it went for its finisher. So far, it had devoured quite a lot of energy from Celeste. And now it released all that energy in the form of a breath toward her. And at that exact moment, Celeste was also done with her charging and released the overloaded dragon's breath.

Two beams of energy collided with each other, one was pure white in colour and another was a mixture of several colours. They stood at a standstill for some time but a winner was decided very soon. It was Celeste's dragon's breath. She had invested a lot more energy in her dragon's breath than to attack this irritating Worm so the outcome was not a surprise to her.

But this confrontation robbed quite a lot of energy from the breath, so it was not able to finish the Worm off completely. But it was able to injure it very badly. Not wanting to let go of this chance, Celeste used another strong attacks.

Elena was not the only person to have evolved a concept magic, Celeste was also able to get the celestial magic after evolving her gravity magic. And now she used that exact magic to cast a spell called "Cosmic Devastation" and created explosion of several stars.

After defending against Celeste's breath and her Draconic Eye of Disintegration, the World Devouring Worm's defence was in shambles. Not only that but after getting severely damaged it was not trying to fight Celeste anymore and was trying to run away. So, its defence was at all time low. And that was why this Celestial concept magic spell was enough to kill the World Devouring Worm, Joitoi and allowed Celeste to get the title of "Apocalypse Slayer".
