Just when the battle between the bull beastkins and the humans had reached the level of insanity, suddenly everyone present in the battlefield froze. All the soldiers from both sides were unable to even move their fingers. Then they suddenly heard a melodious voice ringing throughout the battlefield -

"Sorry to interrupt the war like this, but I have an important announcement to make. The Bull Beast king Hapis has surrendered to me and had pledged his eternal allegiance. So currently all the bull beastkins have become my subordinates. So they do not need to fight anymore. This war is over and congratulations to the Myrilia Kingdom's army for being able to successfully defend their motherland."

It took all the soldiers some time to digest what Elena just said. But when the meaning of her statement became clear in their minds, all the human soldiers burst out cheering.

After fighting tooth and nail for so long, the Myrilia Kingdom's army were able to finally defeat their adversary. This was a really big achievement for them. So they were immensely happy when all this was  finally over.

Elena was the person who had contributed the most in the defence of this city even though she did not participate in the battle at all. And now she was the person who had given them the super of news of the war being over. So the overjoyed soldiers started to chant her name and cheer for her. Their gratitude toward her was immeasurable.

After that Hapis, who had been healed by Elena made his appearance and told his clansmen about the decision he had made. He then explained to them the reason why he did so. It was Elena's advice to do so as that would make them thankful to both Hapis and Elena. And if they were thankful to them from the bottom of their hearts, then and only then they would work for Elena with their full effort.

After that the humans went back inside the city and started the repairing work. The city was damaged quite badly while the two sides were fighting. So they had a lot of repair work to do. And the bull beastkins also went back to their makeshift camp to get a little bit of rest. Their future was still uncertain.

Leonhart was rushing since the very beginning so they did not take much time before they could see the city of Jysis in the distance. But unlike what they expected the city looked to be very peaceful.

They were sure that they would find the city in the middle of a conflict against the bull beastkin army. At least there should be some tension in the air. But as they got closer to the city, they surprisingly found the atmosphere around the city to be happy and cheerful.

But that cheerful atmosphere soon changed when the humans noticed the emergence of a new beastkin army. But they did not panic much as their Goddess of Victory, Elena had said that the battle was over and they wholeheartedly believed in her.

One of the commanders who was overseeing the re-building process came forward to talk with the newly arrived beastkin soldiers. Leonhart also sent one of his royal guards to ask the humans about their situation.

Soon the royal guard came back and reported to Leonhart about everything he had learnt from the conversation with that human. He also reported that he had conveyed their aim for coming here and that they were welcomed to visit the city but the number of individuals who could enter the city should be limited to 5.

Leonhart had no problem with the numbers that the human army demanded. They were going to go inside the human's main defensive base. It was understandable for them to limit the numbers of people who could enter the city.

From the information that the royal guard had gathered Leonhart came to know that the battle was already over between the Myrilia Kingdom's army and the bull beastkins. And the result was a victory for the humans. This result was truly surprising for Leonhart as he did not expect that the humans would be able to win even after Hapis joined the war himself.

Moreover he was interested in the S rank adventurer named Elena. She had played quite an important role in the victory for the Myrilia Kingdom's army even tho she did not actively participate in the war. He was also a S rank so his curiosity about another one of his kind was very high. He also had to question Elena how she could make the bull beastkins her subordinate without his, the emperor's permission.

So, as the war was already over and the biggest worry of Emperor Leonhart was not a problem anymore, he decided to take the day off to give his soldiers a much needed brake. He and four more of his trusted retainers would visit the city of Jysis tomorrow.

The next day Leonhard got ready to enter the city of Jysis alongside 3 of his royal guards and one of his advisors. One of the royal guards was an A rank and the other two were very close to reaching A rank. Even tho the advisor was not a high ranking person he had many magic items to protect himself.

Sandy, Saradina and all three generals came outside the city to welcome the emperor of the Gaim Empire. They were the highest ranking people present inside the city so they must come out to welcome the Emperor of a whole large nation.

The five people from the Gaim Empire were shown more than enough hospitality by the army of the Myrilia Kingdom situated in the city of Jysis especially taking the fact that they were attacked by this nation just a few days ago into account.

Soon they were sitting inside the most luxurious room inside the headquarters of the army and were given the best treatment that this city had to offer. The army left nothing to complain about when they took care of their guests.

Actually after Sandy's blunder in the exchange between humans and the bull beastkin's exchange, he was given a major scolding by Saradina, Elena and other generals after they returned back to the city. Since then he had suddenly matured quite a bit and that was showing its effect today.

Soon Leonhart explained the whole situation to the higher ups of the Myrilia Kingdom army and told them to convey his apology to the king for the misbehave of his subordinates. The higher ups of the army also showed their understanding in this matter and reassured him that they would convey his words to the king.

So after the important talk was over, they started to have some light hearted conversion between them. Leonhart also proposed a deal to open a new trade route where the city of Jysis would act as the centre of this route. This was truly a mouth watering proposal so the higher ups of the army again decided to set up another meeting with the delegates from the Gaim Empire on a later date after getting their king's and noble's opinion on this matter.

After this sort of talk was over Leonhart finally asked the question he wanted to ask since the very beginning of the meeting. He first thought that the humans themselves would mention something about her but they did not say a single thing about her as if she did not even exist. So, after waiting for so long now Leonhart was getting impatient and he finally decided to stop beating around the bush and asked -

"Sandy-dono, I have heard that you all had a good relationship with a S rank adventurer and had received a great deal of help from her. She even managed to take my citizens, the bull beastkins under her command who are known to be very inflexible. As a S ranker myself I'm really very curious about her and I would like to meet her and exchange some pointers as a fellow S ranker."

"You must jest, Leonhart-dono. How can we be lucky enough to get significant help from a S ranker. Miss Elena is a great person and decided to help us a little bit on a whim to help the Myrilia Kingdom a bit. How could we have a good relationship with her. She is like the brightest star in the sky and we are just ordinary mortals. As for taking the bull beastkins as her subordinates, actually the beast king Hapis was very impressed with Elena-sama's unfathomable strength and he himself decided to pledge his loyalty to her due to his respect towards her. It was all just a big coincidence."

"But still I will really appreciate a chance to meet with her a bit. I think she will also be willing to meet with another fellow S ranker just like herself. Please let her know about my wish to just have a simple conversation with her."

Just as Sandy was thinking how should he reject the emperor without sounding rude the door the room was knocked twice and then it opened. Then a beautiful voice rang out -

"It is my pleasure that the emperor himself is willing to have a conversation with me. I'm Elena, and I accept your proposal to have a meeting between S rankers."

"That's really good to he-"

While replying to Elena's words Leonhart looked toward the door to see Elena. But as soon as he saw Elena, his heart skipped a bit and he got frozen. It was not due to fear or something like that. Actually he fell in love with Elena at the first sight.
