The next morning, Leonhart invited Elena and Lisa to attend breakfast with him and the top officials of the Gaim Empire. In Myrilia Kingdom, normally formal greetings were conducted during dinner, but in the customs of the beast kingdom of Gaim, formal greetings were conducted during early morning breakfast.

The amount of people that attended the breakfast was not much. When Leonhart had mentioned top officials he meant only the very top ones. All together there were only seven people present in this dining hall.

Other than Leonhart, all the other present beastkin's were unfamiliar to Elena and Lisa. But they did have that authoritative and imposing aura around them.

Leonhart introduced all of them to Elena. The first one was a person with a giant body and he had the face of a bear. His name was Nadishi. He was the supreme commander of the Gaim Empire and held the highest military position in this nation. He was a top tier A rank and his level was an impressive 296.

The second person was a wolfkin. He was the leader of the strongest clan in the Gaim Empire and currently held three important official positions in the court including the post of internal affairs head with Wepwewet lost. His wolf beast overlord clan was never known for their individual might but were known for their impressive combined strength which could threaten even a S ranker. But still their leader, Nakuru possessed a lot of power as a level 289 powerhouse.

The next person was a female and she was the admiral of the sea troops. Her name was Cleotra and she was a Shark beastkin. She herself had a very impressive strength of a level 293 individual and she also controlled all the water troops of the Gaim Empire. Cleotra was also in charge of the foreign business affairs which mostly happened through sea routes.

The fourth person was a monkey beastkin and was in charge of handling the fiance for the empire. He was not a very strong person in terms of strength but he held a lot of authority and was one of the strongest figures in the political scene of the empire. His name was Wingkong.

The fifth one was a deer beastkin and he was the head of the information division. He was also the one who knew a lot of secrets about others. That made it so that no one was willing to antagonise him. His name was Kapisara and he was also an A ranker of level 280.

And the last person was also the second most important person of the Empire. He was none other than the prime minister of the Gaim Empire and a Fox beastkin named Anubis. He was also the second third strongest person present in this room after Leonhart and Elena. He was at level 290 but in combat even Nadishi would not be able to beat him at all. A prime minister normally did not need combat strength at all but it was a nation of the beastkins where might makes right.

All of them were completely loyal to Leonhart so they did not show any discourtesy to Elena who was his esteemed guest. They all greeted Elena politely and started having small talk while they ate their breakfast. The Gaim Empire had a different style of administrative system than the Myrilia Kingdom and that fascinated Lisa as it was her first time knowing about such a system.

So she enthusiastically asked a lot of questions to the prime minister. The prime minister also properly answered the questions that could be answered. He also asked some questions to Lisa about the administrative structure of the Myrilia kingdom to see if he could improve their own system or not.

The breakfast was really harmonious and Elena really enjoyed the exotic foods unique to the Gaim Empire. Actually the empire was one of the countries with the most varieties of food culture. Each and every one of the races had a different food culture. Some races even had a culture to eat humans in the past but the empire was forced to dismiss that culture to not completely antagonise all the human nations of the continent.

So after the satisfying meal, Elena wanted to visit the capital city and also wanted to check out the adventurer guild. Lisa and the prime minister Anubis still had some more things that they wanted to talk about so they went to an administrative office to continue it.

The Gaim Empire had almost no humans inside their border. So if Elena went out to the capital city just in her usual look then that would focus a lot of attention on her which would also disrupt her walking around the city. So to avoid that she used an illusion magic to make her look like a normal wolf beastkin before leaving the imperial palace.

The wolf beastkins were the race with one of the highest populations among the beastkin races of the Gaim Empire and as they were a strong overlord tribe, no one dared to mess with them. So Elena had a very smooth experience in the city.

She found the capital Nyanthella to be quite a novel experience. The atmosphere of the city was completely different. It was also a lot more boisterous than the human cities. She tried some of the street foods and they were also different from the street foods found in the Myrilia Kingdom.

The Gaim Empire was a large and prosperous nation. They were very renowned as a land which had a supply of a large variety of spices. So even the street foods here had a lot more flavour to them. Meat was their main food source. The beastkins really liked to eat a lot of meat. They even considered fish to be a kind of meat.

Other than the food, the dressing culture of the Gaim Empire also fascinated Elena. Most of the beastkins had a lot of far on their body so they did not need much clothing to cover themselves. So the type of clothes they used were mostly very revealing for a normal person. But on the beastkins it didn't look inappropriate at all. Instead it actually suited them quite a lot.

As Elena walked around the city she was able to witness many many species of the beastkins. The variety between them was insane. Even the same race could form two tribes depending on the situation so it was really astonishing to see the large numbers of variety among them.

The capital Nyanthella was very large. So Elena was not able to visit all the places of the capital in a single day. It was not like she even tried to do that as the walk she was having was very relaxing and leisurely.

She visited several types of shops situated in the capital and enjoyed the new vibe that those places give off. All in all Elena had a really good time.

On the other hand, Lisa was also quite satisfied with her day. It was disappointing that she did not get a chance to visit the city with Elena sensei but Elena had promised to take her out next time so it was still fine. And she did learn a lot from the prime minister. Not only that but she was also able to make some advantageous deals for the Myrilia kingdom.

After today's discussion, the Gaim Empire was ready to do business with the Myrilia Kingdom. Most of the foreign business of the Gaim Empire was dependent on the sea routes so they wanted to have a good business partner for land based business and Myrilia Kingdom was really a very good choice for that.

Elena had asked Leonhart to give Lisa access to the general library and she was going to spend her day there tomorrow. So she wanted to rest well tonight so that she could go to the library with a refreshed mind. Her beloved teacher had planned to visit a S rank dungeon tomorrow so she could not accompany her as that would be dangerous.

It was not like Lisa would be in any kind of danger but that dungeon was infamous for its traps and surprise attacks, so it was not a good dungeon for Lisa to experience the dangers of a S rank dungeon.

Before returning to her room, Lisa visited Elena room to see if she was back from her trip or not. And fortunately Elena just returned a few minutes ago. So she happily ran toward her and told her excitedly everything that happened today. She was behaving not like a dignified princess but like a normal little girl but only Elena was able to see such a side from Lisa. Elena also told her the new things she experienced and they had a good long chat with each other.

After their talk was over it was already late at night. Elena had ordered the dinner to be delivered to their rooms so they enjoyed the dinner while chatting. Then Lisa returned to her room to finally get some rest before the start of the next day. Elena also secretly cast a little magic which could allow Lisa to have a good sleep and they she also went to bed.

That was how the first day of Elena inside the Gaim Empire came to an end.
