Restart: The World Savior's New Beginning

Chapter 153: Ch 153: A Miraculous Gain

While Elena was busy conquering a dungeon far away from the capital, Lisa was also quite busy rummaging books in the national library of the Gaim Empire. She got the special permission to enter the general and the noble section of the library and she could stay here for as much time as she wanted. So to maximize her gains she decided to spend as much time as possible here.

She had been reading books for 5 to 6 hours straight and now she was getting a bit tired. So she decided to take a small break from reading. She was eating while reading the books so she was not really hungry so instead of going out of the library she thought to walk through the library to look at all different kinds of books.

The library was divided into several sections depending on the type of books that could be found on each section. Not only were there books on history, ethics, politics and many more theoretical subjects but there were also several books on magic and gods too.

The Myrilia kingdom also had a large collection of books but the Gaim Empire was definitely an older nation so their collection was even more extensive. Lisa had always been a big fan of books so she was happily walking around the library.

Other than the perfectly defined sections there were some sections of the library where the type of books were not perfectly defined. Those types of sections were known as miscellaneous sections.

Currently Lisa was visiting such a miscellaneous section. Unlike the other sections this section was very ill organised. So if one wanted to see various types of books all together, then they must pay a visit to the miscellaneous section.

While looking at several kinds of books, some of which were really weird, Lisa found a book that picked her interest. This book had a simple leather binding and this thing looked more like a diary than a book. There was nothing special with this book at the first glance, but still it somehow gave Lisa a mysterious feeling.

Finding it amusing, Lisa picked this book up and brought it with her to the table where she was reading. Then see took out some cookies from her storage ring and opened the book.

The first page of this book had nothing in it except a name and after opening this book Lisa became sure that it was not a book but a diary. The name that was written on the front page was most probably the name of the author.

The script that was used to write the book was not the common script that everyone used for their daily lives, instead it was a special script that many scholars liked to use in the past. Currently the scholars had shifted into a different script about 200 or so years ago.

Lisa did have a little bit of knowledge about those past scripts but she was not very proficient in them. But currently she was in the biggest Library of a large empire, so it was not hard to find a book on the subject. So Lisa went to the linguistic section to find a dictionary of the ancient scholar's script and started to decipher the diary.

...

"Luphisesus Macronany"

This was the name of the person who wrote this diary. And seeing this name Lisa became so bewildered that she almost dropped the book. This particular name was very famous and there were very few people in this world who did not know this name.

This person was the founder of the famous "Truth Society" which was one of the strongest organisations of the world which had their influence throughout all the five continents. This person was also the strongest beast tamer in the world.

Beasts and Monsters were totally different. Monsters were very easy to identify. If anyone had a monster core then that person was a monster. If a human had a monster core he would not be a human but a mister. Boar beastkins did not have a monster core so they were beastkins but Orcs had monster cores so they were monsters. The same was true for the beasts.

It was the diary of such a legendary person so Lisa read it very enthusiastically. Luphisesus had never revealed anything about his/her gender and even in the diary, his gender was not mentioned properly. According to it, she started to write this diary when she reached the standard of S rank and she stopped writing here after becoming a Demigod. So this journey had the written record of Luphisesus' journey from S rank to Demigod rank.

The diary was not very long but as Lisa was reading the diary very slowly, it took her a very long time to finish it. Even tho this was the diary of a legendary person, the content of the diary was quite simple. It mostly recounted Luphisesus' daily life, which was quite eventful but nothing too out of the norm.

But after she finished reading the whole diary the last ten pages of it were still left. Lisa saw that there was a small note at the end of the diary. It said -

"Next I will leave a little bit of my inheritance here. This will be my first ever inheritance after becoming a Demigod and I'm not sure if I will leave anymore inheritances behind or not. So whoever will find it, be sure to not use it for anything evil, or Noier-sama will be disappointed."

After reading this, Lisa became insanely excited and why wouldn't she be. It was the inheritance of a Demigod and probably she was going to get it which was a very big deal.

The last ten pages had illustrations of ten beasts. All the illustrations looked very realistic as if they would jump out from the pages of the diary. But those were obviously not normal illustrations but instead they were the inheritance that Luphisesus had left behind.

Inside those illustrations, the soul of a true beast was sealed. The inheritor could create a mental connection with the beast and could summon and control those beast souls. The strength of the soul would mostly depend on the summoner and the souls could not be more than 100 levels higher than the summoner.

Currently Lisa was level 185 which was quite incredible considering her age. So using this diary she could summon a level 285 beast soul to fight for her, which made her insanely strong and capable of defeating most of the A rankers.

The first beast was a flaming lion. The second one was a stag with metal horns. The third one was a giant ape with boulder-like muscles. The fourth one was a bear whose body was made of water. The fifth one was a violet coloured elephant with a super large body. The sixth one was a wolf covered in lightning. The seventh one was a cat enshrouded in darkness. The eighth one was a small bird made out of pure air. The ninth one was a porcupine with multicolored quills. And finally the tenth one was a giant turtle covering the sky.

All of these beasts had special abilities and they all were quite strong. They would probably be able to fight even the S ranks as an A rank. Today in just a single day Lisa had gotten a frightening boost in her fighting prowess. Was she actually the daughter of heaven or something ? Who knows.

...

While Lisa gained something huge, Elena's group was also not far behind in their gains. After conquering the S rank dungeon they got a lot of rewards for conquering it. Elena was not really interested in those rewards so she said that the others could take whatever they wanted from the rewards.

Seeing Elena's behaviour one might mistakenly think that the rewards were not very valuable but that was a completely wrong assumption. Each of the items were at least legendary rank and some were even better than that. So those items could definitely increase the national power of the whole nation by quite a bit.

Elena was not interested in those items but she did have some interest in the origin of the dungeon. So she used her ability to properly analyse it to find out the true origin of the dungeon. What she saw was really super interesting.

This ruined city was an actual city from the past. The name of the Dungeon was quite proper as this city was really from a completely different era. Actually this city existed over a few millions of years ago. At that time there existed only a single Supreme Goddess and that was Lyamirathena. She herself was still quite young and was not completely accustomed to her powers.

One day while she was trying to master her negative side of Duality, she made a slight mistake and one city of the human world got devoured by negativity. That city was completely destroyed before she noticed it. So as to not let the world completely forget about the existence of this city that once existed, Lya created this dungeon.

Now Elena really had a huge urge to visit Lya to talk with her and her decided to do just that tonight. Next in the agenda was the distinct divine realm.
