Lisa was very excited to complete her last job as soon as possible. So, the next day after killing the Hail Frost group she went straight to the Shadow Crow guild to find her last job. This time though she was having a harder time searching for jobs.

Other than not regretting taking a job Lisa also had to be watchful to only take jobs which are not too easy. For someone like her if she took a job to assassinate a D rank or unranked person then it would be very easy for her. So she could only choose a job with at least a C ranker involved with it.

But she was unable to find any such assassination requests. All of the remaining requests were either too easy or too complex for her to properly judge. But then she suddenly found a hidden section in the terminal. This section was present at the very corner and one could easily miss it if they did not pay much attention.

This section was called the banned section and it also listed several assassination jobs.

As Lisa was not sure what this section was for she decided to ask the receptionist. Lisa had become quite famous among the receptionists so she was very nice to her.

She explained that the banned section listed jobs that were banned for normal assassins to take. Only the assassins who had completed at least 3 red marked jobs could see this section. It was not like Lisa missed this section last time she searched for jobs, but she did not have the qualifications to see that section. But now she had. But the receptionist also told her another thing about the banned section. Any jobs listed there were insanely hard but paid a lot of money and the guild would take any responsibilities for anyone who took the banned jobs.

Normally the guild would not leak the identity of any of its assassins. It was a basic practice. Without a guild doing at least this, no assassin would take jobs from them. But if an assassin took a banned request, then the guild was free to leak their information to a customer. Of course the assassin would know about it before taking the request. It was done because all the targets of the banned requests were big shots and the guild did not want to offend them by hiding the information.

After knowing about the banned section, Lisa quickly became intrigued by it and instantly started checking the banned section for a suitable job. She was not worried about the guild leaking her information as she truly did not put the higher ups of this city to her eyes. Her background was way too strong for her to take any of them seriously.

After searching that section a bit she found a request that she really liked and took it. Even for a job in the banned section, it was a very dangerous one. But if Lisa could finish this job then it would be a very fitting last job for her in this city.

Xarokumo was the only son of the patriarch of the Spotted Jackal beastkin clan. He was a talented young man who had reached the level of a C ranker at a very young age. He was also quite intelligent and his father was very hopeful about his future prospects.

But he was not without his flows. Xarokumo was not someone with a good character. Even tho he was talented, he did not have the mannerism of a talented person. He was a vile person who enjoyed torturing innocent people, especially innocent young girls more than anything.

He had committed many crimes but had always used his clans influence to come out without any troubles. But now his past karma was coming for him. One of his victims younger sister, who barely managed to run away from this city was able to become the adoptive daughter of a rich merchant. Then she used all her money to ask the Shadow Crow guild to put up a job request to assassinate Xarokumo.

The guild was very confident that no one would be brave enough to take this job. The same was true for the young girl as she also thought that it was unlikely for any assassin to take her request. But right now she was not strong enough and she needed to at least do something to get revenge for her big sister. But none of them expected that an abnormality like Lisa would come to this city and would also take this job.

Lisa was sure that this current job was going to be her toughest one yet. The Spotted Jackal beastkin clan did have an old ancestor who was an early B ranker in his prime, other than him, the current patriarch of the clan was also a peak C ranker, who also had an official seat in the court of the beast empire.

So, obviously he would arrange very strong guards to protect his one and only son. And this son was also not a weakling either. So that made the job even tougher. She needed a good plan if she wanted to complete this mission flawlessly.

She already knew some information about this Xarokumo guy but nothing in detail. So at first she brought all the available information about him from all the organisations that sold information. Then she started to analyse that information to create a perfect plan to assassinate him.

Even though Lisa did not know how much of the informations about him that she bought were true but she still made a few rough plans about Xarokumo's assassination and she quickly put them into effect.

The first plan that she made was based on the information that he liked to frequent a certain bar everyday at noon. This was an information that Lisa had judged to have a high chance to be true, but ultimately it turned out to be false and Lisa's first plan went to drain.

The information on which her second plan was based on turned out to be true. So Lisa immediately used her second plan. She burned a certain incense that released a special odor that only something with a monster core could smell and they would be attracted toward the smell.

Today, in the afternoon, Xarokumo had gone out to the forest to hunt monsters with his guards and Lisa had planned to lure all the monsters of the forest toward his location to kill him.

But this plan was also a failure as the guards who were with him were all quite competent and were able to take Xarokumo to safety safely. And the monsters of the forests were also not too strong, so Lisa was able to only create some harassment for him.

Then she used her third plan and this was a simple plan to again use the same trick that she used on the Hail Frost adventurer team. But she did not have that super strong poison anymore so she used a different one that was also quite strong but was also easy to cure. And just as he expected, this plan also failed to kill him. But it was able to kill 2 of his guards so Lisa was not very sad about it.

In the monster tide none of the guards of Xarokumo died, so Lisa at least wanted to kill a few of them. Now her third plan was able to do just that, so it was a win in her books.

He had a total of six guards protecting him. And now with two dead ones, he had only four of them left.

Next she targeted the tavern that He visited. They he positioned the food and one more guard died. Something like this had never happened before, so he was very angry and a bit scared at the same time. So he decided to go straight home after breaking the tavern.

Just before he reached his home several traps suddenly appeared and while trying to dodge them for trying to protect their master from the trap, two more guards died. Finding this to be a perfect plan, Lisa quickly attacked with a strong wind and fire combination spell and killed the last remaining guard and then she instantly went for Xarokumo's head.

Xarokumo had already noticed Lisa and was ready to defend himself but, as his balance was not right because he was trying to dodge a trap, he was not able to defend himself properly and got hurt. Seeing it as her chance Lisa kept on attacking and pushed Xarokumo into a corner.

He was only level 156 while Lisa was level 186. So, he was no match against her. But before Lisa could deal the finishing blow, a loud howl came from the distance. As the battle scene was not very far from the residence of the Spotted Jackal beastkin clan, they were able to notice it very soon and the patriarch quickly hurried to the spot to save his son.

Seeing that she needed to finish it quickly, Lisa used a technique that she had not mastered fully and blasted Xarokumo with a triple combined elemental magic which was quite unstable and even hurt her. But that magic was quite strong and it was able to finish off Xarokumo and then Lisa quickly left the scene.

That was how Lisa finished her final assassination task in the city of Hamada.
