The next day, Lisa went to the Shadow Crow guild once again to take more assassination jobs. Elena, on the other hand, went back to the village of Norhada. Last night Leonhart suddenly contacted her using the magic item that she had given to him when she left the village along with Lisa and told that he had a favour to ask from Elena. So he wanted to meet with her.

Elena had no reason to decline the request so she accepted and today they decided to have breakfast together. She did not need to run or fly back to the village and she directly teleported there. Then she went to the royal abode where Leonhart was living.

The breakfast was just simple meat and eggs. This might look like a heavy and weird breakfast for a human, but a carnivorous beastman ate meat at least 5 times a day, so it was very normal for them. Elena also did not mind it and had specifically told the royal cooks to not make anything special for her considering her as a human.

After they were done with the breakfast, Leonhart finally was able to gather up enough courage to tell Elena about his curse. While they were having breakfast, Saliol was giving Leonhart a pep talk so that he would not miss this chance to cure the curse.

"Umm, Elena-dono. I have a request for you, if you don't mind."

Elena already knew what Leonhart was going to ask of her and she genuinely found it to be quite hilarious. But she also understood where Leonhart was coming from. For a man, this type of curse was really shameful. So, she did not want to embarrass Leonhart anymore and faked a curious expression and asked -

"I don't mind at all. Please feel free to ask."

"Ah, the thing is, last time when I had the fight with that accursed hawk-kin Horas, at the very last moment I was cursed. When I killed that bastard like a little chick, that coward used some kind of evil artifact to put a terrible curse on me.

I have heard that miss Elena is an expert in many fields of magic, so I was thinking that if you know any techniques that could dispel curses. That would be very helpful as this curse might become my downfall inside the distinct divine realm."

Seeing Leonhart, a big, scary looking lion, flustered was quite an interesting and funny view. So Elena suddenly got an urge to tease him.

"Hmm, yes, I do know various methods to dispel curses. This is actually one of the fields of magic that I had done extensive research on. So, I'm quite confident about it."

This was actually very true. One of the level 970 bosses that Elena faced while protecting her previous world, specialised in curses. It also had an innate ability to bypass any restriction to prevent curse and so it had a one hundred percent chance to curse its opponents. And Elena did not have the status immunity skill at that time.

So to beat this boss, Elena had to research many types of curses and had to find a way to cure them as soon as possible as she could not prevent the curse from taking effect. Leonhart had a hopeful expression on his face when he heard that, and he thought that he might not need to tell Elena anything about the details of his curse as she could deal with any type of curse but soon his hope was lost.

"But I do need to know what kind of effect your curse has if I want to find a perfect solution. So, what type of curse is it ?"

Seeing Leonhart's heartbroken expression even Elena felt a bit bad for him. So, just even Leonhart was going to bury his pride and was going to explain his curse Elena stopped him as said -

"Let's not waste time. Allow me to use one of my potent techniques that works well for most types of curses. If that does not work then I will need to know about the details of the curse."

Saying so, Elena touched Leonhart and his body glowed in a blinding golden light. It might look fancy but it was actually nothing but a basic purification spell. But for Elena, this basic spell was more than enough to get rid of a normal mid ranked low level curse like this.

After that she asked Leonhart if that was enough or not and a happy and excited Leonhart exclaimed that it was more than enough. The final outcome was more than perfect for him. Not only was his curse cured, but he also did not have to tell his crush about the effect of the curse which saved his face.

After that Elena had some little chitchat with Leonhart and then she left the village once again to go back to the city of Hamada to accompany her beloved student.

While Elena was having an amusing experience in the village of Norhada, Lisa had already chosen a job for her to finish today. For this job she had to kill an adventurer group named "Hail Frost".

This group consisted of two C rank and five D rank adventurers and was considered to be one of the top teams in the city of Hamada. But they were quite arrogant and ill-mannered so they had a lot of enemies in the city. One such enemy had made this assassination request.

Even tho Lisa had only worked in the guild for just two days, her reputation among the workers of the guild was very high. That was because, both of the jobs that she had finished were red marked jobs which were very hard to complete.

Even tho Lisa actually failed for her second assassination assignment but she was able to kill Kyle. So for the guild it was a successful job done. Now again she has taken another red marked job. It made her reputation go even higher and some even started to call her the "Red Strom".

The group "Hail Frost" consisted of a bearkin from the mountain bear beastkin clan as the leader and six other members. Among them only another snow leopard beastkin was also C rank alongside the leader. Others were all D ranks.

They had become quite famous in this city after hunting a famous bandit group. But that fame soon turned into infamy when they themselves started acting a bit like bandits.

Whenever they went to any bar or restaurant, they would never pay and would even break some furniture in their drunken state. Once one eatery tried to oppose them but the next day, that eatery was destroyed and the owner was killed. Since then no one dared to antagonise them.

The "Hail Frost" had gone outside the city to fulfill a request to guard a merchant caravan which was going to nearby villages to sell their products. They were supposed to protect the caravan for 5 days and after that they would escort the caravan back to the city.

Today was the last day of their journey and they were supposed to return to the city. So, Lisa went out of the city to find and fulfill her job. It did not take much time for her to find the caravan that the Hail Frost was guarding as they were really quite close to the city even tho they would only be able to enter the city tomorrow morning.

She eavesdropped on their conversion and what she heard made her very angry. Those despicable scoundrels from the Hail Frost had not been just escorting the caravan but were actually looting the villages that the caravan was supposed to visit.

They then made a deal with the merchants to testify for them that those villages were actually all attacked by bandits and they destroyed the villages. After that the Hail Frost had hunted those bandits down. In exchange the Hail Frost had brought all the merchandise from the caravan for a premium prize. It was a win win situation for both the adventurers and the merchants.

Lisa was a good person at heart. Even tho she could be quite ruthless after getting training from Elena, she still did have a sense of justice in her heart, which was completely normal for a girl her age. At first Lisa had decided to be precise with her method and she thought to avoid alerting the merchants. But now in her eyes the merchants were also bad people who deserved to die. So, she changed her plans and decided to use a ruthless method which would affect everyone including the merchants.

When the guards of the adventurers were a bit down, Lisa sneaked into the camp and mixed a special powder with the tinder. So, after nightfall when the adventurers lit up a bonfire, a hard to detect poison spread in the air.

This was a poison that Lisa herself created after finding an ancient poison recipe. Even tho the materials of the poison were not collected by her it was still something that she herself created. This poison was truly strong. Even B rankers would have a very hard time resisting it if they did not have a poison resistant skill. So, the C and D rank adventurers and merchants were no match for it and they died quickly. Lisa's third job was finished successfully.
