The king of Gollsia, Modgad Zokpi Tondria, was currently thirty three years old. He had taken the throne when his father died and he was twenty one at that time. And in the twelve years of his ruling, the kingdom of Gollsia had gone from being a moderately wealthy nation to a poor nation on the verge of destruction.

Modgad was the perfect example for what qualities a king should not have. The only reason he was able to take the throne was because he was the only son of the previous king. If the previous king had even an illegitimate son, then the officials and generals of the kingdom would do their best to make that illegitimate child their king without question.

Modgad was foolish and he had absolutely no idea about how to rule a nation. But as the only son of the previous king he should have been trained to inherit the kingdom but the previous king doted on his son too much who had lost his mother since his birth and for that reason he was given almost zero education. And the result of that is the current situation of the kingdom.

The king had enjoyed many types of money wasting games and golden shooting was one of them. In this game, the king forced many slaves to bind their eyes and then order them to shoot magic using a magic item haphazardly in front of them while a large group of beasts charged toward them. Suddenly in his despair, Modgad noticed a thin foxkin coming toward him. He could barely remember that this person was some kind of important minister of the kingdom. And seeing him coming toward him once again gave him hope.

Just as he expected, the minister was quite strong and was able to defeat the monster using some kind of magic. Then he came toward him and asked if he was alright or not. In the meantime many more royal guards also showed up and killed all the rampaging beasts easily.

After this incident, Leonhart whose current name was Hoss, was able to become close to the king. After Hoss saved the king's life and then introduced himself, Modgad also remembered his name which was actually quite a rare thing. Modgad also started to believe in him quite a lot.

Using this chance, Modgad completely isolated the king from all the finance related matters and created a separate fund that was completely devoted to fulfilling the king's wishes. Hoss made the king believe that the separate fund was actually the treasury and he also transferred all the remaining money of the treasury to that separated fund.

His mission in this stage was to find and educate his successor properly so that he or she could take over after his death. And he only had three years to do so. Time would be accelerated and only 3 days would pass in the outside world.

Supreme Goddess Lyamirathena herself provided all the gods with a special artifact to create the effect of time acceleration. It was one of the privileges that all the gods enjoyed.
