The next morning, when Elena was having her breakfast and was getting ready to go to the middle class district of the city, suddenly she heard someone knocking on her doors. Elena felt a bit nostalgic hearing it. She got up and took on her disguise before opening the door. And there she found An Zuang standing while panting. Elena asked him -

"An Zuang, what are you doing here so early in the morning ?"

They were standing beside a sofa and the person who opened the door was sitting on another single sofa in front of them. Then the person whose face was not visible and who was wearing a black clock, took them down and a supremely beautiful face came into their view. They never thought that this person would actually be a woman as that had surely heard his voice to me that of a male.

Before the mature lady could ask anything, the super pretty girl spoke up. Then she and her two daughters obediently sat down. They were bewildered to hear Elena's true and sweet voice but now was not the time to question it.

"Yes, I just bought that beautiful garden today."

Hearing Elena admitting that, all then had a look of joy on their faces. Then all three of them gave a deep bow to Elena and thanked her.

After hearing about the lady's life Elena nodded her head in understanding. Actually this lady was a widow and a former member of the Zhang family. Her name was Lan Quiyuan. So overnight, Lan Quiyuan lost everything she had. The only thing that she had left was a garden, which was her wedding gift. They were also kicked out of the family by the new family head.

They tried to use the garden as a tourist spot to earn some money and that was enough to support them for almost a year. But just one month or so before, the third young master of the Mo family, Mo Lan got interested in her eldest daughter.

That third young master was infamous in the city as a playboy and a debouch so obviously they rejected him. But he tried to use force to get her to obey. So the mother and the daughter tried to run away from the city but were unsuccessful as Mo Lan had used guards to keep an eye on them.

So, the guards tried to take them away using force. They were not able to use force inside the high end district because the law did not allow it. But now as the mother and daughter had come out of the high end district, they were free to do whatever they wanted.

But Lan Quiyuan was very intelligent and she used a chance to drug the guards and ran away once more. But this time she did not try to run away and instead returned back to the high end district. She knew that all the gates leading outside the city would be blocked so she planned to return to the safety of the high end district.

This time, her eldest daughter, Zhang Quan was very sad to see her mother getting troubled because of her and she took a bold step. She made a bet with Mo Lan. According to that bet, the Zhang family was going to sell the garden which was their last resort to earn money at a sky high price. And if the third young master could afford it then Zhang Quan would also accept his proposal. But if he could not then he had to leave them alone.

This bet was a challenge to Mo Lan's prestige so he was kinda forced to accept it. On the other hand, as other brothers of the Mo family did not want their brother to get Zhang Quan as she was really a very intelligent and good woman, so they tried to obstruct him in every way possible.

Zhang Quan actually planned to use this bet to earn some extra time and wished to send her mother and little baby sister away after getting the money. There was a very strong mercenary gang in the city who could do almost everything with enough money and she would be able to hire them after getting the money from selling the garden.

She would not be able to run as the bet was officialised by the city government, but she would at least be able to allow her mother and her baby sister to run away. But her luck was great and the best outcome happened. Mo Lan was unable to buy the garden at all and a different person bought it. So now, all three of them would be able to run away without breaking any rules of the city. But before leaving the city, all three of them really wanted to thank the person who unknowingly became their benefactor so they came to show their gratitude and that's how they met with Elena.

The whole story almost felt like a big drama, but the people who had suffered a lot from this were standing right in front of her. Leaving the city was actually the last resort that this family of three had as this city held many memories from them. So, Elena decided to help them a little bit.

"I'm glad that I was able to help you all a little bit even though I did it without knowing. The garden was really very beautiful and I instantly fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It was also decorated very beautifully. Can you tell me who normally takes care of that garden."

"Actually, my big daughter is very fond of flowers and she likes gardening. So, she was normally in charge of maintaining the garden. I also helped out whenever she needed it."
